How do I create and use folders in the library?

I cannot see how to do this - are there any instructions available, please?

I think because of how Muse works this will be a problem unless they do an update to solve that. Not sure how as you would normally code your stylesheet for your web project and content holder or not the styles not being inline would happen automatically.

Hi,
You have 2 potential solutions in your case :
1- Sub-class TextNullable class of Framework and add your methods in the
sub-class.
This is the way Domain class work. Only Nullable classes are sub-classable.
This is usefull for Data Dictionary.
The code will be located in any partition that uses or references the supplier
plan.
2- Put your add on code on a specific class and instanciate it in your user
classes (client or server).
You could also use interface for a better conception if needed. The code will
also be in any partition that uses or references the supplier plan where your
add on class is located.
If you don't want that code to be on each partition, you could use libraries :
configure as library the utility plan where is your add-on class.

Hi Richard,
Your question about "utility classes" brings up a number of issues, all of
which are important to long-term success with Forte.
There is no such thing as a static method (method that is associated with a
class but without an implicit object reference - this/self/me "pointer") in
TOOL, nor is there such thing as a global method (method not associated
with a class at all). This is in contrast to C++, which has both, and
Java, which has static methods, but not global classes. Frequently, Forte
developers will write code like this:
result, num : double;
// get initial value for num....
tmpDoubleData : DoubleData = new;
tmpDoubleData.DoubleValue = num;
result = tmpDoubleData.Sqrt().DoubleValue;
tmpDoubleData = NIL; // send a hint to the garbage collector
in places where a C++ programmer would write:
double result, num;
// get initial value for num....
result = Math::Sqrt(num);
or a Java programmer would write:
double result, num;
// get initial value for num....
result = Math.sqrt(num);
The result of this is that you end up allocating an extra object now and
then. In practice, this is not a big deal memory-wise. If you have a
server that is getting a lot of hits, or if you are doing some intense
processing, then you could pre-allocate and reuse the data object. Note
that optimization has its own issues, so you should start by allocating
only when you need the object.
If you are looking for a StringUtil class, then you will want to use an
instance of TextData or TextNullable. If you are looking to add methods,
you could subclass from TextNullable, and add methods. Note that you will
still have to instantiate an object and call methods on that object.
The next issue you raise is where the object resides. As long as you do
not have an anchored object, you will always have a copy of an object on a
partition. If you do not pass the object in a call to another partition,
the object never leaves. If you pass the object to another partition, then
the other partition will have its own copy of the object. This means that
the client and the server will have their own copies, which is the effect
you are looking for.
Some developers new to Forte will try to get around the lack of global
methods in TOOL by creating a user-visible service object and then calling
methods on it. If you have a general utility, like string handling, this
is a bad idea, since a service object can reside only on a single
partition.
Summary:
* You may find everything you want in TextData.
* Unless you anchor the object, the instance will reside where you
intuitively expect it.
* To patch over the lack of static methods in TOOL, simply allocate an
instance when required.

Aperture does not support the creation of watermarks; if you want a watermark image with transparent regions you need an application that can handle alpha channels - Prewiew, Photoshop, Pixelmator, Gimp, just to name a few.
But once you have a watermark image, you can add it to an image, when you export from Aperture. Add the watermark to one of the Export Presets. You will need to create your watermark in different sizes, so you can add it to each of the export pixel sizes for your images, that you are using.
Another possibility would be using the BorderFX plugin. This versatile plug-in also supports to add graphic overlays to your images, either when exporting or as an Edit plug-in. http://www.iborderfx.com/BorderFX

You can buy ringtones from the ringtones section (at the bottom of the screen when you open itunes) of the itunes app on your iphone.

My girlfriend has finally traded in her windows (*spits*) phone for an iphone after months of me drilling it into her that her phone sucked... The problem now is that we share a PC and she wants to fill her spanking new iphone with crap music. So we have a folder set up ready to drag into a fresh new itunes library but upon plugging her phone in it pops up with "synching Adam's iphone" First off... How do I tell itunes that it's making a mistake and that this new device is not my phone without hurting it's feelings? We have tried going to the itunes store and logging in with her apple ID but it still tries synching Adam's iphone and filling her phone with my goodies...
I'm assuming it's doing this because my apple ID is attached to the itunes program on my windows (*spits*) PC... So if this is the case then how do I unattach it and attach my girlfriends ID in order to fill her phone with the worst music known to mankind? Also I'm running the latest version of itunes with windows 8 OS (*spits*)
On a side note, if you haven't already gathered I'm an avid apple fan and as soon as I can afford it I'll be trading in my piece of... Trading in my PC for a mac however as an avid apple fan I'm frankly disappointed with the design quality of the itunes software... Why is it so complicated? Everything apple I've ever owned has been so simple and user friendly that I've never looked back... Then I come across this monstrosity of a program labeled itunes... Call it blasphemy but it almost reminds me of a badly designed windows program... You know like... all of them? Anyways I'm ranting now so I'll shup and let you answer the original question lol

The best way to keep data separate is to create a different user for just her. That way there is no data getting crossed. The reason it said your name on her iPhone is probably that is what your user name is for your computer. Check out the article below for more detailed information to set that up.

My brother just bought a Ipod touch 2nd generation, ios 4.2.1, but I was trying all day yesterday trying to setup his Apple ID, but it keeps asking for his credit card. I read through some other posts that said to download a free app and it'll give you the coice to create a new account. So I did that. I filled out all of the information and it let me select "None" as the billing information, so I thought it was all set. He verified the account through his e-mail, it said "Your email has been verified", so he tried to sighn into the app store using his e-mail he verified, but it said something like "This ID hasn't been used on this device". The only options were Cancel or Review, so I clicked review and it took me to the registration thing again, all of the info was already filled out, except the billing info which wouldn't let me select "None".
I tried sighning his account on to my ipod touch, it did the same thing as his, He's sighned in with mine right now, but whenever he downloads something, it downloads for me too.
So if you can help, I'd really appriciate it, because it pretty annoying.

Aperture - Transfer a photography folder and sub-folders to the library

Hi All,
Being a photographer, I recently jumped from my Dell XPS to the latest MacBook Pro and am still new on the use of Aperture.
Working on PC before then, I used to work a lot on Adobe Bridge to organise my pictures. I now work with Aperture that I find it amazing so far for fast treatment but I have an issue with uploading my photos to the library.
I have set up my full library on my windows explorer following a certain organisation (Folders and subfolders) and would like to upload all these photos on my Aperture library following the same structure. When I try to do so, Aperture just propose me to upload the photos on the folder but not on the subfolders.
Can anyone help about that? I basically need to load all the photos in one shot to my library and can't find out how to do it!

Hi, I am also fairly new to Aperture, but I think I got this one right... when I opened Aperture for the first time it did not have a library, and asked me to create one. I selected create new library, and then told it to leave my originals where they were. I selected the option to import folders as projects, and viola, the Aperture library resembled my Windows folder layout. If you delete the library (careful it is not the original files) and then open aperture you also get to start fresh in this way.
This is great until you import new photos into your master folders. To get them to show in Aperture in their folders/projects, you seem to have to download a new project, dash off to the source folders using Finder, reorganise the images and then recreate the library again using the same steps. Works, but long. Also I am not sure then how to manage all the changes I have made using the Vault. Lie I said, I am a beginner also... and seem to be stuck in transition between Windows workflows and Mac workflows...

Sorry for the noobish question, but I have never had the need to use a package and currently would like to learn how they work just to satisfy my own curiosity.
Suppose I have a file named Node.class in a folder named Classes, and I have another class named Main.class sitting in another folder. I want to create a Node object using the Main class.

This is an old explanation I wrote:
This is a minimal explanation of packages.
Assume that your programs are part of a package named myapp, which is specified by this first line in each source file:
package myapp;
Also assume that directory (C:\java\work\) is listed in the CLASSPATH list of directories.
Also assume that all your source files reside in this directory structure: C:\java\work\myapp\
Then a statement to compile your source file named aProgram.java is:
C:\java\work\>javac myapp\aProgram.java
And a statement to run the program is:
java myapp.aProgram
(This can be issued from any directory, as Java will search for the program, starting the search from the classpath directories.)
Explanation:
Compiling
A class is in a package if there is a package statement at the top of the class.
The source file needs to be in a subdirectory structure. The subdirectory structure must match the package statement. The top subdirectory must be in the classpath directory.
So, you generate a directory structure C:\java\work\myapp\ which is the [classpath directory + the package subdirectory structure], and place aProgram.java in it.
Then from the classpath directory (C:\java\work\) use the command: javac myapp\aProgram.java
Running
Compiling creates a file, aProgram.class in the myapp directory.
(The following is where people tend to get lost.)
The correct name now, as far as java is concerned, is the combination of package name and class name: myapp.aProgram (note I omit the .class) If you don't use this name, java will complain that it can't find the class.
To run a class that's NOT part of a package, you use the command: java SomeFile (assuming that SomeFile.class is in a directory that's listed in the classpath)
To run a class that IS part of a package, you use the command java myapp.aProgram (Note that this is analogous to the command for a class not in a package, you just use the fully qualified name)

How do I create a new calendar for the current year, using last years calendar's birthday's/photos and comments from the lower pages?

Each year for the past 5 years I make a family calendar and send copies to all he family members around the globe. I hate that I have to recreate all the birthdays and special occasions from scratch, and re-drag all the photos onto these dates, in the lower half of the page of each month on the new calendar. How can I create a new calendar for the current year and port all of these photos/comments into the new calendar from last years calendar, to save having to redo all this work!! Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Open iWeb so you see your original site in the left hand pane. Use the File->New Site menu option to create a new site. Give it the name you want.
Now select a page in your original site and type Command+D. That will duplicate the page. Drag the duplicate page down to the new site and rename it as needed. Do that for the other pages you need in the original site.

Clarisworks, you need Appleworks, which will only work with Mac OS X10.6.8 or earlier. See this tip if you must go newer. Mac Pros with newer hardware configuration than July 20, 2011 can't use Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier without this tip and then it would be Mac OS X Server. I'm not sure if the new black Mac Pro supports that configuration or not.
iPhoto, there is an iPhoto for all versions of Mac OS X.
iTunes, there is an iTunes for all versions of Mac OS X. Note with iTunes versions 11 and later, which are needed for syncing with iOS 7 or or later, you will lose coverflow, if you liked that feature. Sadly you can't run an older version of iTunes from within Mac OS X 10.9 or later.

Then how to create and use mutable array of UInt8 pointers?
The main target is a creation of the module that will store some byte array requests and will send all of them at the propriate moment.
