How do I create lists in reminders on my iPad?

?

Depends on the type of folder you are talking about.
A folder on the home screen for apps: http://help.apple.com/ipad/7/#/iPad997daa3f
If something else, you will need to be more specific.

  • How to add new lists in Reminders?

    I am using iOS 7 with my iPod Touch. In the Reminders, I have my own default list. When I try to add a new list by pressing the + button, it only shows some colors for me to select. After selecting the color, I click on the blank place of the list but nth happens, it doesn't let me to edit the list even the title. Could someone tell me how to add a list in Reminders? Thanks:)

    Do you have a + symbol on the top left side(next to the seraching bar)? I don't have it. It just shows two cards, which are my default list and "New List" with a + on the right side.

  • How do you create new maps in Mail on iPad?

    How do you create new maps in Mail on iPad?
    In the iPad-manual they mention you can put messages in other mailboxes or maps (to free up the Inbox).
    But they don't mention how to create such maps.
    In the app itself I can't find a way to do it.
    thanks for all replies
    Kamiel

    Maybe you are confused by the fact I used the word 'maps' instead of 'folders' (my natural Ianguage is Dutch).
    For your question about the manual: on page 59 in the 'iPad 2 user guide' under 'organizing Email' they say you can move messages to a different mailbox or folder.

  • How do I create new folders in mail on IPad and IPhone for saving emails?

    How do I create new folders in mail on IPad and IPhone for saving emails?

    You can't do it on the iPad you would need to do it on your computer and the folder will be seen by your account on the iPad and iPhone only if they are IMAP and Exchange accounts. POP accounts are not supported for folders.

  • HT1668 How do I create a new folder on my iPad & iPhone email mailboxes, when my provider is RCN?  All I have is Inbox, VIP, Sent, and Trash.

    How do I create a new folder on my iPad & iPhone email mailboxes, using RCN as my Internet provider?

    Actually, you can create additional mailboxes directly on the iPad. I have done it in 3 differemt IMAP accounts. But you do have to have IMAP email. However as stated above, this is not a function of the mail app.
    If you had an IMAP email account, any additional mailboxes that you already had set up would have synced to the iPad and you would see them in your email account in the Mail app.
    if you want to see for yourself..... If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
    If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP.

  • This may seem a silly question, but how can I create a new mailbox on my iPad?

    This may seem a silly question, but how can I create a new mailbox on my iPad?

    A new mailbox/folder - you can't, not yet. If you're using an IMAP mail account, you can create a mailbox on the server (either through webmail or desktop mail) and it'll appear on the iPad.
    We've been told the upcoming iOS5 will allow you to do so (I assume, provided you have IMAP).

  • How do I create lists for my Gmail account?

    How do I create new Lists in my GMail account?

    Is this for Gmail in your browser or in Apple Mail?
    If you are asking how to send to a group of recipients, in Contacts create a Group. When you address a message in  Mail with your Gmail account type in the group name then enter to fill in names. It's best to use BCC when sending to a group.

  • How do I create an Itunes playlist on an ipad 2 for a shared library  on my home network

    Hi, please help? How do I create a playlist on tunes on my i pad2 with a shared i tunes library on my home network?

    no need to create a secondary library - too troublesome, IMHO. you can spread your library over as many drives you can connect to your Mac (wired or wirelessly):
    iTunes > preferences > advanced.
    point iTunes media folder location to the external
    on the same tab, ensure the copy files ... when adding option is checkmarked
    okay out of preferences
    highlight the content to be moved in iTunes and right-click
    select consolidate files from the pop-up menu
    wait for the process to finish
    when done, you may delete the original files from your boot drive.
    alternatively, you could move the whole shabang to the external HD:
    copy the entire iTunes folder (not just the iTunes music or media folder) from <MacintoshHD>/users/<yourname>/music to the external, launch iTunes while holding the option(⌥) key, click on choose library when prompted, and select the iTunes folder you copied to the external.
    when done, be sure to point iTunes media folder location to the external so that new additions to your library will be put there. also, you need to make sure the external is mounted on your desktop before you fire up iTunes.

  • How can i create a new folder on my ipad

    i recently bought an ipad air, how can i create a folder on the desktop, also how can i read pdf and powerpoint materials on it?

    Folders: http://help.apple.com/ipad/7/#/iPad997daa3f
    As for PDFs and Powerpooint presentations, there are a number of apps capable of reading them in the app store (and the mail app will generally open them when sent as attachments). Look into Adobe Reader, GoodReader, File Manager to name a few). Most cloud service apps such as Box and DropBox will also read these files.

  • How do I create a contact group mail on iPad?

    I would like to create groups from my contact list - when I go into my contact list, on the top left is in blue 'Groups' then 'All Contacts' in black, then '+' in blue - when I click on groups it shows in grey ICLOUD and below 'All Contacts' - over to the right is a blank contact sheet with 'Edit' in blue on the top right - when I tap edit it allows a contact to be added but no way to create a new group - I want to create a new group - info appreciaged - thx - Karen

    You cannot create a new group on your iPad without using an app to do so (such as Speed Names).  However, you can easily create a group by going to icloud.com from your computer.  Open your contacts on icloud.com, tap "+" on the bottom of the left sidebar and select New Group.  Give the group a name, then drag and drop the contacts you want to belong to the group on to the group name.  The new group will apear on your iOS device.

  • How can I create list of permutations

    Hi Everyone,
    I need to create a 2 d array which will contain all of the permutations of a 1d input array, specifically, I have a 1 d array of colour boxes and I want to return a 2 d array of colour boxes.  This is too mathematical for me!  Is there a combination of functions that will help me achieve this?  From my days at college I remember something about factorials, but as for coding it...
    If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful.
    Thank you,
    Michael.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Assuming that all colors in the input array are unique, here's a simple algorithm (LabVIEW 8.5). (see also)
    The permutation algorithm is from wikipedia:
    For every number k, with 0 = k < n!, the following algorithm generates a unique permutation of the initial sequence sj, j = 1, ..., n:
    function permutation(k, s) {
         for j = 2 to length(s) {
            swap s[(k mod j) + 1] with s[j]; // note that our array is indexed starting at 1
            k := k / j;        // integer division cuts off the remainder
         return s;
    NOTE: Indexing in LabVIEW starts at 0, so the code is changed accordingly.

  • How can I create a POP3 account on my iPad for Live Mail which doesn't delete mail from server?

    Got a new iPad Air with iOS 7.1.1 tried to create a mail account just like the one on my iPhone 5. I selected 'Other' as mail account which allows me to edit the POP3 and SMTP settings. Think it sends mail ok need to check out receiving BUT there is no longer the option under INCOMING MAIL which says 'Delete from Server' which I have on my iPhone set to 'Never'.
    Anyone know how or what settings to use for the iPad?
    Thanks

    Yes, you're correct this is only for existing users so if you don't have a Gmail account then do as shldr2thewheel suggested.
    You'll then be able to link up to your Gmail account in your iPad once done.
    Regards,
    Steve
