How do I create page transitions in Adobe Muse?

I don't want the typical "Click on my navigation bar" and go to another page look to my site.  I want to add effects so my site will scroll vertically like this ...how can I create this effect in Muse?
Thanks!
K

Look for tutorials on using the Paralax scrolling effect. It does exactly that. I believe there is even a tutorialfor that right on the welcome screen when you open Muse.

  • How to you do page transitions in adobe muse

On the page linked to below which is one of the tutorial website the food page has some transitions that make switing between the various links on the menu look nice and smooth through transitions.

I am working on a portfolio website and I would like to get that same result.
However beyond just that i would like to have slide transitions between the main pages.

If people have any help on how to make this happen i would love it.
Once again I want to do this for a desktop site.

There isn't a specific way to do full page transitions within Adobe Muse. You'll need to use outside pluggins and I'm not so cure about that...
However, the menu transition will be easy using Muse widgets!
I used the Featured News widget:
Click the blue arrow outside the widget box:
These are the settings I used for a vertical transition effect. There are others to choose from such as: horizontal and fading
Here is the finished, live menu:

  • How can I create a wiki with Adobe Muse?

I need to create a wiki for a competition I am in, and I want it to look nice. I need HTML code to create the wiki, and all the code needs to be hosted on their website. They have a box that we are supposed to place the HTML code in. When I use the code that Muse has exported, there is no CSS. How can I get this to work? Thank you

    Hi,
This is something I won't recommend because you need to completely restructure the HTML of the page to do so. You need to be technically advance in coding. It will be like re-writing the code and can even break the code. It is very likely that some feature may not work properly.

  • Need to create a login page to my Adobe Muse site - how do I do that?

    Hi all,
I need to create a login page on my Adobe Muse site, as I need to post information that only authorized personnel have acces to. Is that possible. I use Business Catalyst to host my site.
    Thanks,

    Hi Michael,
The Business Catalyst site should be on web Marketing plan.
You can create the secure zone in Business Catalyst and then place the secure zone login form code from Business Catalyst to the page in Muse.

  • How to create a Blog in Adobe Muse

Hi, who created a blog in Adobe Muse, help me please!

Unfortunately, you can't create a blog in Muse, not yet anyway. I've been researching this for a long time, and you just can't do it. If enough folks ask Adobe for it, then it will probably be added to a future update. For now, the only thing you can do is get the embedd code from an actual blog like Tumblr or Nabble, and then copy that bit of code using "insert HTML" on your Muse page. That will give you a generic looking little scrolling box with your latest blog entries, but it's probably not what you're looking for.
What I've decided to do is create a custom blog in Blogger, make it look as close to my Muse site as I can, and then just link it into my Muse site using a custom nav button. So I redirect my visitors to the Blogger site. If you customize the Blogger page enough with background images, colors, fonts, etc, your visitors may not even know they left your site unless the look in their browsers address bar.
I hope that's helpful. But if you're not familiar with Blogger, it's through Google, it's free, and it's a great blogging platform.

I created mega menu in adobe muse ( master page ) but the thing is when I preview that menu in other pages contents I already had created will overlap the menu. Is there any options that would fix that problem up. I'd like to have the menu overlap the contents. That does not happen on master page ( master page looks good ) Thank you very much.

Place the menu on its own layer above the rest of the page content.

  • How do you create a seach box in MUSE?

how do you create a seach box in MUSE? - viewer enters a keyword and will be lead to correct product

Hi there - For questions about individual programs, you're better off posting in their specific forums. Here's the Muse forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/general_questions_about_adobe_muse
That being said, there is currently not a search bar widget that can be added to a site directly from within Muse. However, you can add custom HTML code to your page, with a method such as this: http://www.ehow.com/how_6772398_embed-google-search-bar.html. Just add the custom HTML to your Muse page by going to Object > Insert HTML.
This page might also help you out: http://www.adobe.com/products/muse/embedded-html.edu.html
    Good luck!

How can I create a Online Store using Muse?
I have been looking around for solutions but I can't find one.
I was just hoping that someone else might have known of a way.
    Thanks!

Since you can access the Alpha File Manager it means the option to "Enable online content editing (incompatible with Muse)" is ticked up under your profile details. With this enabled you can create Web Forms under Site Manager. Once you create the contact form open the Alpha File Manager (AFM), select the page where you want to insert this and choose the Web Forms from the right hand column. On the pop-up window select the web form to insert and click Insert.
Regarding the upgrade, as long as the site is in trial mode you can choose any plan for the site, see my answer #7. Create a new trial site, choose the link to the new trial site created from PP and publish your site there for testing purposes so you will have ecommerce included and available for you to try out.
If things go well you can request an upgrade to your current site to have the ecommerce included (the only situation in which this upgrade won't be available is when the site is published on one of the 5 sites received with the CCM subscription, they are webBasics and cannot be upgraded: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/publish-anywhere.html under "Publish websites" section, and the option will be to create the site from partner portal and publish the content from Muse)
At this moment indeed there's little documentation on how to integrate the two but this is because Muse is just not ready to take advantage of BC capabilities. It was never intended for CMS features of BC to be available in version 1 of Muse. This has already been mentioned a few times (one relevant example: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4355214#4355214#4355214)

  • Please! can anyone tell me if after I create a site with adobe muse, is there anyway for my client t

Please! can anyone tell me if after I create a site with adobe muse, is there anyway for my client to edit and update text and to a lesser extent images on the website?
I don't care if the client text/image editing and updating doesn't update in my Adobe Muse, as long as my client can update the text online.
Please help me answer this question, I have used adobe for decades (2) and am a print designer. I want to use Muse for websites but if my clients can't update text and images, I don't see how I can make it work.
If I have to use Business Catalist too; I don't care. I just want to be able to use this great software.
Sorry if I soud desperate but I'm holding on starting a website for a new client and need to get this answered first.

At the moment you can't using Muse's widgets, though you can insert html! So, you could have photo galleries linked to flickr that the client can update to, for example. I'm sure there are other options for slicker slideshows that can be updated client side!
For text, I'm too much of a novice, unless you were wanting a blog style: http://www.muse-themes.com/blogs/news/7257782-creating-a-blog-in-adobe-muse-powered-by-nab ble
Basically, I think you need to find the right html to embed for your purposes

I need to know how to force a https redirect in Adobe Muse if this can't be done please tell me so I don't waste any more time... please

Protocol usage and redirects are a server-side thing. This has nothing to do with designing the web page and thus nothing with Muse, either.

  • How do i change favicon.ico in adobe muse?

how do i change favicon.ico in adobe muse?

In Muse, you can set a favicon in site properties, on the page properties for a master page, and also in the page properties for a regular page.
Most people set the favicon for the site, and don't set it on the master or individual pages. Make sure you don't have one set on your home page or master page, and the one in your site properties is the one you want.

  • How can I create a Online Store using Muse? (with not Business Catalyst)

How can I create a Online Store using Muse with not Business Catalyst for example three services
    _ttps://orders.self-pub.net/checkout.php?m=fastcheckout
    _ww.self-pub.net/services/covers.html

    Hi,
Unfortunately there is no option stand alone in Muse to create an online store. However if any hosting plan uses CMS feature like Business Catalyst and ecommerce using modules and tags, you can use the same proceedure as for Business Catalyst and integrate that system and host the Muse site on their platform and that would work.
There is other thing that you can try is, Insert HTML codes to link the pages and some contents in Muse to your desired CMS. What you can also do is after you create the site in Muse, you can export the Muse site and get the layout and design of your site and copy paste the codes for pages with some HTML and coding skills to integrate with your desired hosting.
    Hope this helps.

  • How do I create individual URL for the pages within an Adobe Muse site?

Could someone tell me how I can create separate URL addresses for each page within a site? I think it's in Page Properties, but I can't figure out how to do it.

Your website is actually hosted at http://kcronaphotography.free.fr
If you visit that URL, clicking on the other pages will change the URL displayed in the browser.
Your individual pages are available at URLs like: http://kcronaphotography.free.fr/about.html
www.karincrona.com is just a wrapper page containing a frameset that hosts your real pages in frames.
It appears that this page was generated by a tool called "ORT - Ovh Redirect Technology".
Displaying the pages inside a frame will not change the URL displayed in the web browser.
If you'd like your page to have nice URLs like www.karincrona.com/about.html, you'll need to get rid of the frame wrapper, and move the domain name to the webhost where your pages are being served.
If you want to keep the wrapper page, you may want to investigate if the ORT tool you're using provides any way of getting a URL to an individual page to show in the browser bar.
