How do I de-authorise if it's multiple times on one computer?

Recently my 2003 iPod died and my nano was recalled for a battery problem. On both of these, I had a book that I had purchased through iTunes. It's a very large book (3 large volumes) and I cannot back it up to an audio cd.
It has once more asked me to authorise the computer for this book - it wouldn't let me play it on my computer even. (at this point I tried to deauthorise it, but it told me it wasn't authorised) It now tells me that I have authorised it on 5 computers, but I know it is only on that one computer (though I have just managed to copy it to my new iPod touch).
I am nervous that this will happen again, and I will lose my purchased book.
How do I deauthorise these other 4 times if it has only ever been authorised on this one computer? Does it count my dead iPod and recalled nano as authorised computers? - if so, how can I deauthorise them?
I have just had a thought - my motherboard was replaced at one time - could this have any effect?

Having posted this question, a few useful links came up on the right hand side. I believe I can de-authorise all computers, and then reauthorise just my one. (Mine was only authorised once)
I hadn't realised that if my husband had authorised one music track from my library, then effectively he was authorised for all my downloaded tracks, even if he didn't have them on his computer.
My dead iPod and recalled nano have nothing to do with it.
I am still a bit mystified, but at least I can see a way forward.

You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

How do I backup/restore multiple IPhone on one computer

Hi everyone
Need some help here. I work as a helpdesk and recently most of the IPhones are now due for upgrade. What is the best way to backup the data from old Iphone and restore to new Iphone for multiple users on one computer? Basically everyone expects to hand me their old phone and new phone, and when they get the new phone back, the new phone will have the same data as it was on the old one.
I have done backup/restore just for myself before. Is there a easier way to do for multiple users on the same computer?

How about backup to icloud and then restore from icloud? I did not bring it up because I do not want the backup/restore to cripple to network.
I would normally ask the users to take their old phone and new phone to AT&T store or Apple store to get it done. But as I work in corp office, and all I dealt with are the CEO, CFO, etc. They want the upgrade process done and without them getting involved (I try to keep it that way to make them happy).

Connect each one separately. Sync it with your desired info using iTunes. Then do the same with each device. You may configure the desired info separately for each device as long as each device has a different name. You can change the name from the sidebar listing in iTunes.

Trying to use multiple devices on same computer but don't want the devices to have all the same aps. how can i seperate that without having to check the aps i want each time a sync?

Assuming the photos are in an iPhoto Library on the Air and you want to import them into your iPhoto Library on your Powermac there is an application that can copy all photos in the Air library that are not in your Powermac library into your Powermac library. However, no keywords or other metadeata willl be brought over with them and they will come over in a new event each time you run it. Take a look at: Sync iPhoto libraries | SyncPhotos (formerly iPhotoSync) | Haystack Software.
There's another application, iPhoto Library Manager, that will let you copy events or albums from the Air library to the Powermac library. However, you will have to select the events/albums you want to copy. It's not automatic. This method will copy keywords and other metadata along with the photos.

How to restrict user marking same events in multiple times.

In my online exam system, I am displaying the questions and related answer in jsp page. Once user fill all this questions, the result of these stored in final table containing column questonNo, userid, answer, testname.
Now in my application if any user goes back to the question displaying page after submitting same questions, he can change the answer selected in first attempt and submitting again the test, the result are stored in final table. I.e. for same question no. user is now able to answer in two times. I want to restrict user for answering test in second times.
How can I achieve this?
Any suggestion is highly appreciated?

My target is once user submit any questions teh control will be transferred to the next page.Now he/she could not able to submit the same questions with another answer or the same answer also which is possible in my application by going back to these page using back button .so that i can get only one record for particular questions in table final.

How to stop someone from submitting a form multiple times?

My customers order my service by down loading a .pdf form. They then fill out the form and submit the form by my email as a pdf form. How do I stop a customer from submitting the form multiple times. I would like for the customer to submit the form only once filled out. If I need more info I could follow up to their order manually via email. Thanks for your help!

Looking for a way to disable the form after the form is filled out then submitted through their email

One of the main reasons why you have a customer posting multiple submits would be because for some reason he/she doesn't know the first one was successful.
Add a property your form to record whether or not a valid submit has already happened. Use script to set that property on submit. Check each time the submit operation is fired to see if the property is set. If it is display an error dialog and stop the submit from occurring.
If someone wants to open multiple copies of your form and fill it out and send it to you, well there's nothing you can do about that.

We have a situation that, User will enter a Promo code (custom Field) in Sales order Header Additional data B tab to apply discount for line items.
Logic goes like this:
1. For each Promo code .. there may be multiple sale deals (Max 3 at this point).
2. For each line item (refering to tkomp table) we have to apply the sale deals (found above) the Condition access sequence will pick the right sale deal to apply the line item.
3.we have enhanced the tkomp structure to hold the sale deal.
Challenge:
As we have the standard logic to trigger the condition access sequence once for each line item, how we can apply 3 sale deals for single line item. Is there any logic or way to trigger the condition access sequence multiple times for single line item with diffrent sale deals. ~ There may be one valid sale deal for one line.
Functional team maintained diffrent access tables in the access sequence!!!

I am trying to explain again, this is the requirment given by the functional guys.
we have Promo code in Hearder Addtional data B tab --> Have to retrieve Sale Deals -->
At this point of time we may have at max 3 Sale Deals. we don't know which sale deal is vallied for which item we have in TKOMP. We have enhanced the TKOMP structure to hold one sale deal only (ZZPROMO).
We have enhanced USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP in RV60AFZZ to populate the value in TKOMP. Then it will go for diffrent access sequence to find the proper condition.
Our challenge is that, for each line item we have 3 sale deals, we don't know which one is valid for which line. but we have to apply the vallied sale Deal to the line items. Line item 10 may have Sale Deal 2 , item 20 may have Sale Deal3 and 30 may have sale deal 1.
We may have solution, by fixing some thing in the code or through config. But i am confused that is it a valid requirment?

How to copy playlists to new system? Have multiple IPODs on one computer..

I have recently upgrade the C drive on my system and did a clean install of Windows XP pro. In the process I have re-installed Itunes. The music itself (mp3 files..) is on a seperate hard drive. My problem is that I now have Itunes restored showing all 24,000 songs. But I don't have the original playlists. The playlists are critical because they determine how the seperate IPODs are synced up. Is there some way to create a playlist from the IPOD onto ITUNEs? Can a playlist be copied from one system to another? So far I have not been able to get the old playlists recovered....
... it sure seems like some of these issues would be prety common and you'd think Apple would have a graceful way of dealing with it....

The playlists are stored in the iTunes library files. These should have been copied/backed up before upgrading. There are programs available to transfer from iPod to iTunes. I have never used them so I don't like making recommendations.
