How do i de-authorize my ex's computer/iphone/ipods from my account without causing her to lose all of the songs/apps purchased?
I am going through a divorce, and my ex's iphone and the kids' ipods are still associated with my itunes account/billing credit card. i.e.- whenever they make a purchase through the iTunes/AppStore it gets billed to my credit card. How can they (or I) change to a different itunes account without losing all of the apps and music that they've bought under my itunes account?
Change the password and 'gift' new content for the kids whenever you want (assuming the process doesn't require knowledge of the password....).
Just read about (new) iTunes Allowances feature (http://www.apple.com/itunes/features/#purchasing):
Allowances
Set up an allowance for your kids so they can make iTunes Store purchases without the use of a credit card. Allowances arrive every month in the amount you designate. Choose an allowance from $10 to $200. Cancel allowances at any time by visiting your Account Information page.

So my family generally uses one Itunes account. I recently got my own credit card so I decided to open up my own Itunes account so I didn't have to ask one of my parents to put in the password every time I wanted to do something related to the itunes store. Now 99% of my songs/apps are linked to the old account, so from what I have read, all of the songs I purchased will be deleted. How do I transfer all of the songs on my ipod to my new computer with the new account? Without having to pay for 3rd party tools.
The way to keep the photos from downloading to your wife's phone would be for her to go to Settings > iCloud > Photos > and turn off iCloud Photo Library. If that isn't an option, the other option would be for her to have her own Apple ID ( and possibly explore the new family sharing options https://www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/family-sharing/ )

I did not authorize 2 in app purchases and because my credit card is at its limit, and i dont know how to reverse the in app purchases, i cannot update any app or do just about anything in the appstore or itunes store. I dont care if i owe apple's itunes appstore a few dollars over 2 in app purchases i never meant to download in fact the whole app itself i wanted to delete...but out of the hundreds (maybe lower thousands) fof dollars in music and apps and whatever else, that i rightfully purchased over the passed couple of years....should *NOT* have the upgrades and/or previous purchased songs withheld from me over $3 in accidently purchased add ons through an existing app i deleted an disliked anyway

Feeling really stupid with my new MAC - I can't find the "Store" menu in iTunes as referenced in the support article on how to authorize a computer. Where is that menu option? I've looked all over the page, in my account, etc.

In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it. Or turn on Windows 7 and 8 iTunes menus: iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
1. Open iTunes on a computer
2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us. -

Songs can be removed from your iPhone by tapping 'Songs,' then swiping the song, then tapping Delete.
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.

My MacBook Pro HD crashed. It is all up and runmning except for one issue. I have about 200 songs on my iPhone but have only gotton 53 back on my laptop from my iPhone and those are the songs I purchased via iTunes. How do I get the rest of the songs from my iPhone back onto my HD.

I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

Recently, U2 music appeared on my ipod without my requesting it or wanting it. I was able to delete all of the songs except for one. How do I delete the last one from my ipod? The song does not show up in iTunes when I plug my ipod into the computer. The version installed on my ipod is 7.1.2(11D257).

My daughter accidentally purchased something from an in app purchase, I haven't got the £2.99 in my account until tuesday, and do not want the in app purchase, my account wont log in now even to download free apps. How do I get my account to log in again and function properly, I shouldn't have to wait until I have a meagre £2.99 in my account again do I because I need the app store for other apps etc and updating, even if it is only 3 days I want my account back, I do not want nor did I give permission for the in-app purchase and would be happy for it to be returned/credited back so I can have MY account available for my IPhone.
Please can someone give me more information or let me know how else I can get my account working again, before pay day on tuesday.

I have been sharing my iTunes account with my kids...now they are getting older and want to have their own accounts, how do I share the songs I purchased for them on my account with them on their new accounts? You can't currently transfer content from one account to another account. As long as the tracks are on the computer's iTunes that they use/sync to, and your account is authorised on that iTunes, then they should be able to continue to use them.

If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must use the previous owner's password to get permission to use the device. If you cannot get the password your father put on the iPad you will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.
