  • Hi. How do i deactivate a computer from my itune account?

Hello. How do I deactivate a computer from my itunes account?

If the computer's running Mac OS X, move the cursor to the very top of the computer's screen, click on Store, and choose Deauthorize this Computer.
If the computer's running Windows, press the Alt and S keys and choose Deauthorize this Computer, or click here, follow the instructions, click on Store in the menu bar, and choose Deauthorize this Computer.

I have 5 computers authorized to use my iTunes. 2 of those computers do not exist and  have had their hard drives destroyed. How do I remove those computer from my iTunes account?

Begin by opening the iTunes program and going to the iTunes Store via the iTunes Store button in the top right.
Once you're at the iTunes Store, click on the Sign In button at the top left corner (if you're not signed in) or on your account name in the same location (if you're already signed in).
This will bring you to your iTunes account. In the top box, you'll see a section labelled Computer Authorizations towards the bottom. Next to it is a button that reads Deauthorize All. Click it.
A window will pop up asking you to confirm that this is what you want to do. Continue.
In just a few seconds, all 5 computers on your account will be deauthorized.
Now, re-authorize just the computers that you still use and you'll be all set.

  • How can I save a website created on iweb, but that I no longer have it saved in my computer, so I can open it in my new computer and republish it ......

How can I save a website created on iweb, but that I no longer have it saved in my computer, so I can open it in my new computer  with iweb
and republish it on another server, since mobile me would be gone on jun 2012.

You need the Domain.sites2 file that's located in your Users/Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder in order to be able to manage and publish the site from another computer?
Do you have that file? If you do copy it to the same folder on the other computer and you're ready to go.
If not then you'll have to recreate the site from scratch.  Chapter 2.3 on the iWeb FAQ.org site has tips on using some of the existing files, image, audio, video, etc., from the published site in the recreation of the site. 1

How can I remove computers from my itunes account when I no longer have the computers?

De-authorise all, then authorise the one you still have.

  • How can I deactivate a computer from iTunes if I haven't got that computer anymore?

I need to activate a new computer, but have already activated 5 computers. I need to deactivate a computer that I know longer have. How can I do this?

You can only individually deauthorise computers directly on them, but if you've reached the 5 computer limit then you can de-authorise all (which you can do once every 12 months) by logging into your account and you can then re-authorise those that you still have and need : authorising / de-authorising.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1848 - only media purchased from iTunes Store
For transferring other items from an i-device to a computer you will have to use third party commercial software. Examples (check the web for others; this is not an exhaustive listing, nor do I have any idea if they are any good):

  • When I email myself a picture from my iphone 4s, the email is sent from an email account that I don't have set up as the default account. How can I set it up so that the emails are coming from the default account selected in Mail?

Under my mail tab, it shows that I have a specific email account set up as a default account. That is the account I would like for me emails to be sent from. But when I actually send out an email such as a picture, it is being sent from one of my different email accounts that is not set up as the default. How can I change this so that future messages will be sent from the default account? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!

All photo attachments received or sent with the iPhone's Mail app appear inline or viewed in place within the body of the message when viewed with the iPhone's Mail app which is the same with the Mail.app on a Mac. A photo attachment that appears inline or viewed in place does not mean the photo was not sent as a true attachment to the message. A photo attached to a message with the iPhone's Mail app is sent as a true attachment to the message. How an inline or viewed in place attachment appears on the recipient's end depends on the recipient's email client. If the recipient's email client does not support viewing an attached photo inline or viewed in place within the body of the message, the attached file must be manually selected and opened to viewed.
I am getting the email with the Picture Inline ( not as attachment),The picture is shown distorted , no metter what i do and with what mail client i am using (Gmail\Hotmail\My Enterprise exchange mail), i still get the same behavior.
    With which email client?

  • TS1389 How do I authorize my computer for an Audible Account?

  • How can I access songs I have previously downloaded on an e-mail account that I no longer have access to?

I have an account that I used to use up until about 2007. I now see that iTunes has a function to download previously downloaded songs that may have been deleted or something. I thought I would be able to go on an old e-mail account and try to use it, however we no longer use the e-mail provider and there is no way for me to get an e-mail sent to it to change the password. This is also troublesome because I cannot remember my security question. Does anyone know how to possibly get around this?

ive had that problem...if you email the support they'll reset it for you but u need to know all the information on the account to verify it before they'll reset the account password.

  • My old computer, and external that I had everything backed up on broke. Majority of my music I got from burning CD's that I no longer have. How can I get all my music on my iPod onto my new iTunes?

Like I said, my back up broke and I can't get all of my music back by transfering purchases because I burned a lot of CD's I had collected from the past. I don't have any of those CD's anymore, so how can I get all of my music onto my new iTunes? Or am I just S.O.L.?

Phone to Mac,this app lets you easily copy, transfer the music, videos and playlists from any iPod or iPhone directly into iTunes on any Mac.

  • How do I deactivate an AppleTV from an AppleID so that I can activate it on another account?

  • How do i deauthorize a cpu from my itunes account, if i don't have that cpu

i need to deauthorize a cpu so i can add a new one but it says i have used the maximum of 5 already authorized. these are old devices i dont own anymore how can i deauthorize them

If you've reached five authorizations for that account, there will be a button in your iTunes Store account information that will allow you to deauthorize all systems associated with that account. Log into your Store account and you should see it. You can then reauthorize the computers you're using now.
    Regards.

  • HT202213 how am i able to deauthurize computers with home sharing that i no longer have

how do i deauthurize compters i dont have any more

I am a little unclear as to whether you mean Authorised computers ot Associated devices. Still choose from below
However you can deauthorise all computers and then reauthorise the computers you still have
In iTunes store go to your account page and you will see a button Deauthorise All to the right of Computer Authorisation. It will also display how many computers are authorised. You can only do this once every 90 days. Then reauthorise each of your existing computers by clicking on Store > Authorise this computer in the iTunes Menu
If it is devices that are your issue below that under iTunes in the Cloud is a Manage Devices where you can remove certain Devices
