How do I deactivate a copy on a computer that no longer exists

I am trying to use the program, and the last time I used it, must have been on my old computer.  It is telling me to deactivate the other copy but I no longer have the computer.  Help please!

    Yes, it will but you can still install it on 2 machines. In case you face any issues, you can contact adobe support anytime.
    As per adobe policy, we cannot issue a new serial number for such issues.

    As kelly9159 said, you can probably deauthorize all 5 computers.
    Go to the iTunes Menubar/Store/View my Account/Login.  In the Apple ID Summary/Computer Authorizations: Select Deauthorize All.
    Then on the 2 computers you're using, go to iTunes Menubar/Store/Authorize this Computer

    I replaced my computer several months ago when my old one died. A large amount of data which was in a partition on my old computer is still on my time machine and is taking up a lot of space and forcing time machine to delete backups much sooner than I would like. I don't know how to get rid of it. If I try to delete that folder from an individual backup, I get the message, "The operation can't be completed because backup items can't be modified."     The best method is to archive the contents of the TC to a disk.. archive is available via the airport utility.
    Simply plug in a USB drive large enough to store all the material presently on the TC, 1TB or 2TB or 3TB.. whichever model it is.
    Archive I have drawn red box around.
    Once the archive has completed ..
    Use the Erase disk.. just the Quick erase is ok.. takes a couple of min and then you have a nice empty drive to start loading TM backups on.

    are you talking about the mobile homesync icon in the menu bar? that will persist as long as the account is still a portable home — regardless of whether the machine is bound to the server.
    to remove it, you can choose not to show it on the menu bar (uncheck the box in system prefs -> accounts or just command-drag it off the bar).
    to remove the portable home (and thus the homesync icon), delete the account. if you need the data, you'll need to move the home folder (mv to rename is fine); delete the account; rename the old home folder; add the new local account, using the old home; then ensure permissions are correct on the old home folder.

    I have exactly the same problem! When I try to play a song purchased under an old Apple ID (before I moved to Japan), I get: "This computer is not authorized to play "(song title)". Would you like to authorize it? To play this song you must authorize this computer to play songs purchased using the account "(my OLD Apple ID)". You may authorize up to 5 computers for each account."
    I tried to authorize the song using my OLD Apple ID and password, but it didn't work because that Apple ID no longer exists. The weird thing is that after trying to authorize a song with my NEW Apple ID, the computer tells me I have successfully authorized it but then the song won't play and I get the same Authorize Computer dialogue box popping up again when I click the play button or double-click the song title.
    It's VERY frustrating!

    Erase the drive or partition it was installed to, and then install it on the desired computer. There is no authentication or activation required for the client version of Mac OS X 10.6; Apple uses the honor system for it.

    If you're in the US, you will be able to use iTunes Match for $25 a year to remove copy protection in a few months: http://www.apple.com/icloud/features/
    If you're not, you can't.  You can authorise iTunes with the old account in addition to your current account, so all your songs will play, but I'm not sure what will happen if you try to sync them to an iPod.
