How do I deactivate a product when I no longer have the computer it was loaded onto?
0273244058. I recently returned an IMAC to apple and want to make a cross platform swap. I received this msg from you guys. Gary, we see that the serial number is still active in your computer, hence we request you to deactivate the software and update the case so that we can process your Cross Platform Swap. I don't have that computer any longer but made sure it was wiped clean when I returned it. How do I deactivate it??
If it is pre-Creative Cloud, then you have to call Adobe to have them reset your license. It's it's CC, then you just sign in on the new computer, and it will deactivate any other computers (a third or more, as you're allowed two installs).

Restore it. You can either do this with iTunes. Connect it and then click "Restore". Or wipe it from the Settings app on iPod directly. If you no longer have access to the iPod, you could also wipe with the iCloud "Find My iPod" Feature. But that feature has to be enabled in Settings --> iCloud and the iPod needs to be connected to a Wi-Fi network.

I have a nano 5th gen which I bought new. I no longer have the computer that I sync'd it with and created library on. I have new computer and Itunes library which I want to sync w my nano and songs on it. When I try it tells me I will loose all the songs on my nano bc Im already sync'd on a dif library. How do I keep from loosing all my songs?
Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time. If you try to sync it with a new or different iTunes library, it will erase what is currently on the iPod and replace it with what is in the new library.

I need to unlink an iphone 5 device from my itunes / icloud account - it is a phone I purchased second hand from ebay, which i set up and registered itunes / icloud from the start up menu, but I had to send the phone back as it was faulty, however the owner is saying they need it unlinked from my itunes / icloud account as they cannot use it until this is done. How do I remove the device from my itunes account when I no longer have the phone in my possesion ?

If it's not a computer that it's been synced to then do you have a backup on iCloud that you could then restore from ? Depending upon what country that you are in, and whether the items are still in the store, you may be able to re-download some/all of your purchases via the Purchased tabs in the iTunes and App Store apps, and the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app.
