How do I deactivate password vault?

Every time I enter a password at a web address, that silly little key in the upper left hand corner of the address bar asks if I want to save the password. I do not store passwords on my system.
So, how do I prevent that little drop down question from dropping down?

There is no "automatic login" anywhere in that window.There is Change Password, Login Items, Mac User Name, Address Book Card, and Enable Parental Controls. I've already investigated all of them.
Click on Login Options and turn automatic login on. If it's already on, turn it off and back on.
Where do I find this file?
Double-click on your hard disk from the desktop, or single-click on the entry for it in a Finder window's sidebar. Open the Library folder in the window, then the Preferences folder, and delete the com.apple.loginwindow item inside.

Go to Settings>Passcode, it will prompt you for the passcode and then select Turn Passcode Off. It will prompt you for the passcode again and then will remove the passcode.

Same way as you always have done -- press and hold 'till they wiggle, then tap the [x] in the corner of the one you want to delete. Or, change your sync settings via iTunes to not sync apps you don't want/need.
Note that you cannot eliminate built-in apps like Weather, Stocks, etc.

See these instructions if you would like to unlink your phone number from an Apple ID you used with your iPhone:
Unlink a phone number
To remove a phone number from an Apple ID, sign out of FaceTime and Messages on your iPhone:
Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
Settings > FaceTime. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages. If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.
If you no longer have the iPhone, try this method:
Note: If you no longer have access to the iPhone that is using the number you want to remove, reset your Apple ID password.

You can use Find My iPhone
Enter your Apple ID and password of the device you want to find. If the device is still powered up and the SIM card is still in it you might be able to find it. There are options to disable it as well. This is based on you having enabled it when you set up the device.

missgen, as a mother of a 16 year old, I know all about temper tantrums. Let's not let that device go to waiste. You can hard reset that device by connecting it to a computer with iTunes downloaded to it. Once you connect the device, it will open iTunes. You will be provided with the option to "Use Recovery Mode." For your convenience, I've provided a very helpful link with the steps to reset that phone's password: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1212
Once the password has been reset, you can master that reset that device in Settings>General>Reset>"Erase All Content & Settings"

My laptop (T400) just came back from repairs at Lenovo after a devastating hard disk failure. My favorite software, the Password Vault is not working. i click and nothing happens.
i read some forums and followed some of the advice, e.g. enabling Security in BIOS + i did all the software, driver and window updates.
Anyway, nothing worked, so i thought i would delete then reinstall... how do i reinstall the software? i cant find it anymore.
appreciate any help on this!

How do we reset password for SAP* and DDIC user in SAP R/3 ECC 6.0?
I tried with acual method as below from client '000':
DELETE FROM USR02 CLIENT SPECIIED WHERE BNAME = 'SAP*' AND MANDT = '001'.
After this when I tried to logon '001' using SAP* with password PASS it is giving the message that Incorrect logon and password.
(Also when I checked for 'SAP*' in 001 it looks like it is not got created as I queried as below:
SELECT SINGLE * FROM USR02 CLIENT SPECIFIED WHERE BNAME = 'SAP*' AND MANDT = '001'.)
Can anybody throw some light on this? RewardS is guranteed for solutions!

You must restart the system. So, that a new user with the name "sap*" gets generated with password "pass"
