How do I deal with the "Getting Media" error message?

I am new to PhotoShop Elements 10 and am in the process of learning to import and catagorize pictures.  To date I have imported about 50 pictures.  About a week ago, I scanned a picture and got the following message entitled "Getting Media"   Basically it said the following.
Nothing was imported.  The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the file(s) are already in this folder.
Reason:  The file exists in the catalog.
File:   C:/Users/Liz/AppData/Local/Te...2014-2-19-0823/imaged.Jpeg
I cannot fild the picture in the catalog or even in my computer.  (Which doesn't mean it's not there!)  I have also searched through the HELP files and found nothing that I recognized as relevant.  I checked with Epson, and we deemed that the scanner works.
I don't know if this is relevant, but the last time the process of getting the pictures was when I imported pictures from my camera.

  • How do I deal with the no disk error?

    This must be a common enough problem that there should be an easily accessible FAQ on it.
    I am attempting to update the flashplayer, and at around 100% a dialouge box jumps up and says error, there's no disk. I must then figure out a way to get out of the dialogue box since clicking x in the corner does nothing, try again does nothing, continue does nothing, cancel does nothing.This seems to happen every update.

  • How Oracle to deal with the data lose?-----QNo.104

    In incomplete recovery,some data will be lost. How Oracle to deal with it?
    For example, at 9:00am, you find that it is a mistake to drop a user(you dropped it at 8:30am). But other users' transactions are in progress. A lot of data is input between 8:30 and 9:00. If decide to make a incomplete recovery, does this means all the data input between 8:30 and 9:00 will be lost?

    For example, at 9:00am, you find that it is a mistake to drop a user(you dropped it at 8:30am. But the transactions are in progress. To make you clear, you can't drop the user while session connected to this schema.
    I dont think that you would loose any data.
    The other workaround for this issue would be,
    I would clone this on other server just before the user dropped, take the export and then import the user in the production.
    Is this satisfy your question?

  • Can not connect to iTunes Store with iPad get an error message. How do I fix?

    I cannot connect to iTunes Store. Get an error message. How do I fix it?

    I have the same problem. In fact when I plug in my iPad 2 updated to ios 7.0.4 I get that same message and it crashes my entire system - forcing me to reboot.

  • How can i deal with it : -1004[IGE1],'Error(-1004) encountered'

    Hi,all,
    I'm trying to create a 'Issue for production' document through DI, and get this error message: -1004[IGE1],'Error(-1004) encountered', what shall i do? any tip is appreciated.
    I'm using DI 6.7, and my codes are:
    Private Sub Command6_Click()
    Dim RetVal As Long
    Dim ErrCode As Long
    Dim errMsg As String
    'Create the Documents object
    Dim vscfh As SAPbobsCOM.Documents
    Set vscfh = oCompany.GetBusinessObject(oInventoryGenExit)
    vscfh.DocDate = "06/12/2006"
    vscfh.Comments = "add from DI"
    vscfh.Lines.BaseType = "202"
    vscfh.Lines.BaseEntry = "5"
    vscfh.Lines.ItemCode = "A00001"
    vscfh.Lines.WarehouseCode = "01"
    vscfh.Lines.Quantity = 2
    RetVal = vscfh.Add
    If RetVal <> 0 Then
    oCompany.GetLastError ErrCode, errMsg
    MsgBox ErrCode & " " & errMsg
    End If
    End Sub

    Hi Hongtao Dong
    I see you are using
    -vscfh.Lines.BaseType = "202"
    -vscfh.Lines.BaseEntry = "5"
    But you then go and stipulate your item codes. You only use Basetype and baseentry if you are basing it on a previous document. If this is what you are trying to do, then don't stipulate the item code, rather use vscfh.Lines.BaseLine = 0 to stipulate which line it is based on.
    Hope this helps

  • I need to convert a file from PDF to doc to make changes to it.  How do I do this without getting an error message?

    I can not convert a PDF file to a doc file. I have an older computer program and need to do this in order to make changes to a form.  I just signed up for ADOBE about an hour ago. I keep getting a error message.

    Hi subscription question,
    I've checked your account; it looks like you tried to place two separate orders this morning, but it doesn't appear that either went through. However, it does sound as though you've been able to convert a file successfully. What happens when you log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files? Do you see your converted file there? All converted files are automatically stored in your online account, even when you convert from within Reader.
    Best,

  • Given that I'll use a natural key, how do I deal with the situation if I find out the value later?

    I have been doing a lot of reading about the pros and cons of using natural versus surrogate keys.  I have read in Joe Celko's books and his writing online that he strongly opposes using surrogate keys and using IDENTITY for generating values for a
    surrogate key column of a table in SQL Server.  I would like some advice on how to handle this situation:  I have a table with physician information and would like to use their NPI as a natural key (it would be a foreign key in many other tables)
    but the people who enter new physicians often don't know the NPI until later.  They also may receive the wrong NPI and need to change it later.
    Right now they use Excel spreadsheets to manage their data and I'm sure you can understand what a nightmare of data integrity that is.  Now that I'm going to design and build a database for them, can you recommend a good approach to this specific problem?
     I cannot tell them to hold on to the new physician's data until they get the NPI because they need to immediately work with the physician's information as soon as the new physician joins the organization.  It's a small shop and not a health system
    but thousands of physicians join.  They cannot insist that the NPI be supplied at the time of registration for various political reasons.  The people who are using the system now have varying degrees of skepticism to outright vehement opposition
    to having a new database system so I cannot "lay down the law" about things that may adversely affect the relationship with the new physicians who sign up.  With the Excel spreadsheets they cope with this by either leaving it blank, entering
    9999999 or some other stray string of characters, or perhaps typing in their shopping list.
    Is there a viable solution to this design problem?  Any and all suggestions appreciated.  Thanks for reading this.

    While I disagree with the standard practice of adding an identity column as the primary key for every table, I think that this is a case where it can be beneficial or practical.  You might not want to cluster on the identity column and you still need
    to enforce the uniqueness of the natural key.
    OTOH, the alternative is to simply fabricate a value for the natural key when it is unknown.  You could do this manually (where the user must enter the fabricated value) or automatically (where the server generates it).  A manual approach might
    be frustrating to the users since they have to "guess" what would be unique and acceptable, resulting in sort of trial-and-error approach to adding.  You would also very likely need to have a way of identifying which rows had a fabricated value.  Once
    the actual natural key has been identified for a given provider you would then need to update it.  The server can handle cascading the value where needed if you so choose.  Note that, except for the cascading part, you need the same capabilities
    for an identity-based table since this natural key is most likely essential to the system.
    I'll also point out that you can use a unique constraint as the target of a foreign key - you don't have to use the primary key.  Not recommending this, just mentioning the alternative.
    Which you should choose I can't say - that requires a much better understanding of your model and that isn't something that can be readily provided in a forum such as this.  I will say that you should not prematurely choose an identity.  Why?  First,
    you make this choice once you have deemed the natural key to be a problem.  Second, it may be (at least) some of your anticipated relationships to physician are actually to something else.  A medical system is as much art as science - at least in
    the USA.  Providers, plans, participants, terms, renewals, diagnosis codes, etc. make one's head spin.  Given that you have just started modeling, there is no reason at this point to make this choice - just be aware that the natural key poses some
    issues that you need to address at some point before completion.  Personally I would choose the natural key for now and let the model develop and demonstrate where this choice becomes a problem.

  • How can I deal with the "throw exception"?

    A function has the following definition:
    import javax.naming.NamingException;
    public BinRelation readBinRelation() throws BadInputDataException,IOException
    When I use this function as follows:
    BinRelation binRel;
    binRel = readBinRelation();
    then comes the error:
    unreported exception javax.naming.NamingException; must be caught or declared to be thrown.
    So how can use this function correctly?
    Thanks

    So how can use this function correctly?By learning what exceptions are, how they're used, and what you can do to deal with them. There's a tutorial here: http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/essential/exceptions/index.htmlAnd here's a quick overview:
    The base class for all exceptions is Throwable. Java provides Exception and Error that extend Throwable. RuntimeException (and many others) extend Exception.
    RuntimeException and its descendants, and Error and its descendants, are called unchecked exceptions. Everything else is a checked exception.
    If your method, or any method it calls, can throw a checked exception, then your method must either catch that exception, or declare that your method throws that exception. This way, when I call your method, I know at compile time what can possibly go wrong and I can decide whether to handle it or just bubble it up to my caller. Catching a given exception also catches all that exception's descendants. Declaring that you throw a given exception means that you might throw that exception or any of its descendants.
    Unchecked exceptions (RuntimeException, Error, and their descendants) are not subject to those restrictions. Any method can throw any unchecked exception at any time without declaring it. This is because unchecked exceptions are either the sign of a coding error (RuntimeException), which is totally preventable and should be fixed rather than handled by the code that encounters it, or a problem in the VM, which in general can not be predicted or handled.

  • How to deal with the "driver not installed" message?

    My issue, and it seems many others here have it too, is how to install a printer driver in the face of the "driver not installed" message.
    In my case, it's an HP4160 Rendevous printer. I've deleted the com.apple.print files in the Library, reinstalled the software, made sure that BDC package, or whatever it's called is installed, even downloaded and run the printer fix software from Fixamac.
    Nothing works.
    I have the feeling this isn't a printer or driver-specific issue, but is an OS problem. Does anyone have a suggestion?

    It appears the Deskjet 4160 will not work with an Airport. Connected via USB, the driver installs normally and the the printer appears to run just fine, although I haven't done much with it yet.
    It simply will not work on a wireless network through an Airport. Frustrating, but workable by bringing the laptop to the printer.

  • British Columbia BC users - how are you dealing with the PST Exemption for Youth Products?

    Hi BC Community,
    Reaching out to everyone and anyone to help with this.  Has anyone had any luck (in British Columbia) dealing with PST Exemption for Youth product? More specifically if a product has a full tax item (12%) and a Youth Exempt Item (5%) in the cart, at the same time.
    As you know, if you add to British Columbia Tax Codes (BC-12% and BC-5%) and you have product in your cart, like the above mentioned - the Destination State overrides any product level Tax Codes.
    Looking for some help with this one.
    Thanks,
    Aaron

  • I can't download this progam after I have paid for the promotional creative cloud deal - I keep getting an error message saying Adobe keeps closing

    Whenever I try to download this program, Adobe keeps closing and giving me an error message - I'm super frustrated and don't know what to do.

    Not quite clear what the problem is, Abby.
    When you say you "can't download the program", do you mean via the Creative Cloud Desktop?
    What - exactly - do you mean by "Adobe keeps closing"? There's no program called just "Adobe".
    What - exactly - does the error message say, and at what point is it generated?

  • 'A problem with the cooling system' error message on Satellite A660

    Hi all,
    Hope I can get some help here. I've had about 5 HP laptops after all of them had problems and faults. I got sick of them and therefore got a refund and bought a high spec A660-1FH.
    The A660 has been a great laptop for two days until yesterday when I started getting a warning message saying 'A problem with the cooling system has been detected. Please turn off the computer immediately, and return it for service'.
    The cpu fan works fine as you can here it spinning and the temperature of the i5-460m processor is around 40 degrees for both cores - which seems normal to me. I've noted that it happens only when running on battery and if you switch from eco utility to power saver mode. Its fine when running on the 'balanced' power setting. The fan is louder before when this message appears.
    As its under 28 days my retailer swapped it for a brand new one straight away. Got the new one home, and the same message appears again. Has anyone else experienced this. As two laptops have had this, I'm wondering if this is normal for the A660 series laptop or if there is really a hardware issue?!
    I have tried to upgrade eco utility and the bios of the laptop but both are the latest versions. Can anyone help or share if they experience a similar issue with their laptop?
    Thanks

    In front of me I have Satellite A660-13Q (PSAW3E) and I have it about 6 weeks now. It runs almost 10 hours daily and until now I didnt notice such message or anything else that can be suspect for hardware functionality.
    I really dont know why this happen on your notebook and dont think there is anything you can do about it.
    I would exchange it again. What you can also try is to contact nearest Toshiba service. Make a call, explain the situation and ask if they can help you with this.

  • Cannot associate with the access point error message

    We just got high-speed Internet installed at our house. We have a cable coming into the house that connects to a Linksys WAP54G router in our basement. We have two Dell Dimension computers that we installed Linksys PCI Wireless G Cards into. The computer down the basement is working just fine. The computer upstairs which is directly above the router worked fine the first day. The computer got powered down and upon restart wouldn't connect again. I did a system restore and it worked fine. Windows errored out yesterday, and now even after doing a restore, I cannot get it to connect to the wireless network. The error message "Cannot Associate with the Access Point" comes up. When you search for available wireless networks, none appear. Any ideas?

    Try connecting to the network using the Wireless Zero Configuration...just checkout on the right-hand side bottom of the screen pc right-click the Wireless network connetion icon...click view available wireless networks...click refresh network list...on the same list you will see Change the order of preferred networks...on top of the page click wireless networks...in preferred networks...remove each & every network...click OK. Now, once again right-click the Wireless network connetion icon on right-hand side bottom of the screen & click view available wireless networks...click refresh network list...now you will be able to see your wireless network..if its a secured network it will ask you for the wireless wep key...put in the key...where it says confirm the network key & click connect...it will be CONNECTED....and you will be able to go ONLINE WIRELESSLY!!!
