How do I deauthorize a device I've already sold?

I currently have 4 devices authorized to my Apple ID: My MacBook, my iPhone, my iPod touch and my iPad. The problem is, I've copmletely wiped and logged out of all accounts on my iPad, and sold it. I'm not sure if it's still authorized to my Apple ID. If so, how would I deauthorize it without deauthorizing all of my other devices?

Authorization and Deauthorization
See iTunes Store- About authorization and deauthorization for Macs.
See How to Authorize or Deauthorize iTunes | PCWorld for Windows.
In iTunes you use the Authorize This Computer or De-authorize This Computer option under the Store menu in iTunes' menubar. For Windows use the ALT-S keys to access it.
More On De-authorizing Computers (contributed by user John Galt)
You can de-authorize individual computers, but only by using those computers. The only other option is to "de-authorize all" from your iTunes account.
  1. Open iTunes on a computer
  2. From the Store menu, select "View my Account..."
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID and password.
  4. Under "Computer Authorizations" select "De-authorize All".
  5. Authorize each computer you still have, as you may require.
You may only do this once per year.
After you "de-authorize all" your authorized computers, re-authorize each one as required.
If you have de-authorized all computers and need to do it again, but your year has not elapsed, then contact: Apple - Support - iTunes - Contact Us.

  • How to deactivate/deauthorize a device

    Hello.
I just recently bought a new computer and I would like to share/transfer my e-book collections from my old one to my new computer. I am using Adobe Reader 7 to read my digital editions in my Mac computer. However, when I try to activate my new computer, I have a message saying that I am over the limit of activated devices. When I look at my activated devices, it looks like 5 of them are the same computer. I think what happens is that I have to re-boot (re-format) my computer couple of times when it is having a problem consequently, I have to activate Adobe Reader on the same computer a couple of times. Is there a way that I could de-activate a device (delete 4 of those activations) so I have a free space to activate my real computer?
Also, I installed Adobe Digital Editions 1x5 in my old computer, and the Digital Editions from my Adobe Reader doesn't recognize my e-books. I am not sure what is happening?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have read through the "Shortcut Keys" Help section several times, and darned if I can find the sequence listed anywhere.  Should be in the "Application-Wide Keyboard Shortcuts" table but its not.  Neither can I find the companion Ctrl+Shift+E combination (crucial for deauthorizing an attached e-reader, as explained elsewhere in these forums).  Where exactly did you find this in Help? Maybe our Helps are at a different level - I'm using A.D.E version 1.7.2.1131.

  • How to control the finished goods that have already sold to customer

    Dear Gurus,
    I have a problem.
In normal situation, SD process is....SO->DN->Post->Billing, after post the material, the goods won't exit in the plant anymore.
But there is a special business mode.....
After we sold to customer, and AR accounting document created...
But NOW the finished goods still in our plant, we wanna manage the quantity in SAP,  is it possible?
    Thanks in advance.

    and AR accounting document created
No it is not possible.  Once the customer is debited, you cannot show the inventory in the delivering plant which is logically wrong.

  • How do I deauthorize an account on a computer that crashed?

My laptop crashed and I had to reinstall the original software. When I attempted to reinstall iTunes, I was unable to, because I had reached the maximum devices on my account.  I tried deleting the device from the list on my account and did so successfully, but it still lists 5 devices.  How do I deauthorize a device that has crashed?

I think you'll have to unauthorize all then re-authorize ones you want unless this works

    Then authorize the active computers.

You'll have to log in to your iTunes account. On the Account Information page click on the 'Deauthorize All' button. You will have to re-authorize all the computers you presently want to associate with the iTunes account. (See screen shot below.)
In the future, to avoid having to deauthorize all and then re-authorize, select 'Deauthorize This Computer…' from the 'Store' menu on the computer you no longer want to use with the iTunes account.

  • How do i delete a device from my apple id

how do i delete a device from my apple id?

    Hey tippybarnes123,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities.  To answer your question about removing the Apple ID from the device is to sign out of the account on that device. The following article will walk you that.
iOS: Changing the signed-in iTunes Store Apple ID account
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1311
If it is for the computer, the following article will walk you through that process.

  • How do I remove a device (not in my possession) from my iCloud?

I have a couple of devices which I have sold (or returned to Apple), which are still showing up in my iCloud account.
They do not show up in Find My Device
But they do all show up every time I need to "Verify My Identity". This is especially frustrating as multiple iPhone 6's show up in the list, and I don't know which on the list is the one I have now.
They also show up when I go to iCloud.com/#settings, but there is no link to let me delete any of them.
Most of Apple's docs advise to remove devices from iCloud by turning it off on the device. I actually still have one of the devices which shouldn't be on iCloud, anymore (it has been reset), so pulled it out and tried setting it up on iCloud and then turning iCloud off on it, but the device still shows up on iCloud.
I'm stumped. How do I remove these old devices?
