How do I deleat my Apple ID and password off an old phone I've sold
II've sold and old iphone on ebay. The buyer is telling me he can't purchase anything from iTunes as my Apple ID us still on the phone. what can I do?
It sounds as if they did not restore the phone to remove your apps, and neither did you. They may have also run into Activation Mode and that is why it is asking for your Apple ID and password. In this case you would have to reset your new device (Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings) in order to restore it from a backup during the device setup.

To change the password go to https://appleid.apple.com/, click on Manage you account to the right, sign in, click on Password and Security on the left, the Change Password on the right. If you change your password you will need to sign out on your phone, then sign back in using the new password.

How do I remove the apple ID and password prompt that appears frequently. It is prepopulated with an account for my daughter and not one I need on the IPAD...
Go to Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap on her ID and sign out. Them sign in with your own ID.
If there are apps on your iPad (and I assume that there must be) that your daughter purchased with her ID - they can only be updated by using her ID. -
I reset my apple id and password but my old id still comes up basically telling me it hasn't been reset and keeps me from logging in on various things. Any help would be appreciated
In the Settings app
Settings > iTunes and App Store > tap on the Apple ID that shows there > Sign Off
Then sign in again with the correct Apple ID and password.
I'm not sure by what you meant by "reset you Apple ID" if you signed up for a new ID all of the apps you downloaded for free or purchased will still be connected to your old ID. You will need to enter that ID and password to update those apps. -

I created a new one but let say i go to apps store and install app, it will show dialog box with the 1st apple ID.If these are both yours on the same account then give them different names so iTunes can tell them apart.
If the sync was an accident then do a "wipe" of the other iPad and set it up as new under a different ID and make sure iTunes knows it's a different accout, that is set it up as one, before you begin the sync. -

Sounds like you encountered the activation lock. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. No must enter the previous Apple ID and password in order to use the device. If you cannot do this chances are You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it. -

How many Apple IDs do you have? The prompt should show you a few letters from the email address to remind you. You can always reset your password using this page:
https://appleid.apple.com/
Resetting the password will require that you have access to the email address associated with the AppleID or that you remember your security questions.
If you cannot reset the password , take it to an Apple Store with your proof of purchase and they may help you.

Why is the update on Icloud setting not an integrated process Apple desingners! On my apple iphone 5, after new ipdate. My icloud on my iphone askes to back up. It still have my old id an password and I cant change it anywhere. I dont have that email account for a year now , and dont have the password of it. All my other devices shows my new apple Id and password. I cant change it at mannege my apple Id because it is the new one. Itune use the new one, but no, not my iphone. So, what do I do now?
You have to do the following to get your new Apple/iCloud ID signed onto your device:
1. Go to Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to the old email address (do not verify it - this is temporary):
Apple - My Apple ID
2. Go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and Delete the iCloud account. Use your current Apple ID password when asked. Follow the prompts to delete the account
3. Go back into Manage your Apple ID and change your Apple ID back to your new email address (you may need to verify it again)
4. Go back to Settings>iCloud and sign onto iCloud with your new Apple ID. Turn on the options you want sync'd with iCloud, give it a little time to push the info down to your device.

When I try to buy from the App Store it ask fir my Apple ID and password and its saying it wrong so I try to reset and it looks like its done it but then still saying its wrong apple ID and password.so I need to start it again and still the same.

I thought i was resetting my son's iphone 4 so that I could use it. But I seem to have erased his icloud/apple id and all of his data from his new phone too. Please help?That sounds confusing. First off, don't be too worried. There's practically no way to actually delete an Apple ID or it's purchase history. You should be able to get to it back somehow. Secondly, that's likely something that you'll need to talk to a real person on the phone for since it likely requires you to explain that you need access on behalf of your son, (who probably just set some security questions or an email address that you didn't know he put in.) Just call the appropriate AppleCare phone line (800-APL-CARE in the USA, or see the link below for other countries) and tell them you want to talk about an iCloud account security question.
