After you're logged out of the database, go to Administration module, right-click on the relevant database and click 'Delete'.

To close them open Activity Monitor, select All Processes, find them in the list of processes and quit them.

Hi,
After creating a database connection you can delete it from
Data Source Explorer panel by right clicking on it and choosing
Delete.
If you don't have the Data Source Explorer opened you can
open it from eclipse main menu Window->Show
View->Other->Connectivity->Data Source Explorer

How can I delete the site (created in webDB) from database?

Hi I have the WebDB 2.2 and Database server Oracle8i and I created a lot of sites with WebDB but I do not know how can I delete them from database server. Could somebody help to me?

Log into sql plus as webdb
Drop user <site name>_admin cascade;
Drop user <site name>_public cascade;
Drop user <site name> cascade;
and drop any other users you have made specically for this site.
Remove the dad from the listener settings.
If you wish to use this site name again in the same database you also have to delete a record from a table in the Webdb schema.
I can't remeber what that is.....

Goto SE11 > select radio button for view > type view name > press delete icon in top menu (where you have icons for activate, check etc).

I am trying to delete a database which seems to be on ASM but I get the errors below. I have limited exposure on ASM so not sure how to proceed. Can someone help?

Cause
=====
Installing the 10.2.0.2 patchset in a RAC installation on any Unix platform does not correctly update the libknlopt.a file on all nodes. The local node where the installer is run does update libknlopt.a but remote nodes do not get the updated file. This can lead to dumps or internal errors on the remote nodes if Oracle is subsequently relinked.
Solution
========
There are two solutions for this problem:
1) Manual copy of the "libknlopt.a" library to the offending nodes :
- ensure all instances are shut down
- manually copy $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/lib/libknlopt.a from the local node to all remote nodes
- relink Oracle on all nodes :
make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle
2) Install the patchset on every node using the "-local" option:
On Unix:
runInstaller -updateNodeList -local ORACLE_HOME=$ORACLE_HOME CLUSTER_NODES=node1,node2,...
On Windows:
setup.exe -updateNodeList -local ORACLE_HOME=%ORACLE_HOME% CLUSTER_NODES=node1,node2,...
ORA-10577: Can not invoke test recovery for managed standby database recovery
Cause: Test recovery option is used for managed standby database recovery.
Action: Either remove the test recovery option or invoke manual test standby database recovery

but i havent installed oracle10g (utility: DBCA) because in my new laptop with windowsvista, cant install, then i try install oracle XE on my WindowsVista Box, by moment all its ok, i try exp on Oracle10g Pc:

exported!
then in pc with Oracle XE i try:

How to delete unwanted databases that keep coming back?

Hi,
Besides the usual Google mail database I have somehow acquired 2 other databases that I want to get rid off because I don't trust them.
The first is the one a lot of other people seem to have as well RLDGUID and the other one is from a blog I visited. It's called sql-evercookie.
I know how to delete the databases but when i do that they just pop back up. I have tried a lot of things, there isn't much you can do, I delete all my cookies, cache and history, rebooted the iPad. Nothing works. There must be a way to get rid of them right?
I especially upset about the sql one. It's from a friend's blog who hired a company to design her a ' professional' blog. Why that has to include putiing databases on people's devices I don't know but I sure will ask. In the mean time I want it gone.
Anyone has any ideas?

I really don't think that's a correct answer.
Find the users in the AD that have the mailbox database assigned to them and remove the mailbox:
"get-mailbox -database <database-name>" or just use the EMC to search for the mailboxes in that database.
Once the mailbox has been removed from those users you can use the UI to remove the database.
Using ADSI for simple tasks is just wrong.

My voice memos duplicate every iTunes sync and now takes up 3GB of my backup size and also from 'other', how do I delete them?

It seems since I got my iPhone 5, my voice memos get duplicated every time it syncs with iTunes. There was only a few memos but a couple of them were rather large. I have found this out by looking at my iTunes backup and find them in /media/recordings. I have stopped them from duplicating by de-selecting them from iTunes, but now how can I delete these items from my phone to free up the space? The best way I could think of is somehow remove them from my backup, then restore. I use iCloud normally for backup so I am almost out of space.
I am using OS 10.8.2 with iTunes 11 and iOS 6.0.1

Update: iExplorer does support deleting voice memos. Received helpful product support email detailing how, even before I registered the product.
while you can delete voice memos where the actual files are stored in Media/Recordings (which is where you should see those missing voice memos), iExplorer 3 isn’t designed to delete them from your device since deleting them iniExplorer 3 won’t update the voice memo database on the device
It's still quite slow and crashes if you try to delete the entire list (I do 10 at a time now), but it works to delete memos that are not refered to any more within the Voice Memos app.
Still doesn't solve the Apple iTunes problem of duplicating SW, which appears to still be happening on a small scale, but I am recovering the Other data back to Free slowly.

In syncing my iPhone 3GS on iTunes, I now have many copies of the same contact -over 1,000 in one case-on my iPhone. The cause was probably a USB glitch during a sync or when copying. The music resides on the phone in separate files. A master file contains a database with an index to the music, an entry for each track and a "pointer" to the file containing the track. Somehow the index got corrupted with duplicate entries. It's likely that the music itself wasn't duplicated, but some tracks had more than one entry in the database. I've seen this happen when syncing (rather than manually managing) also. In my case deleting the track from the Music tab in iTunes, syncing, then adding it back fixed it.
A related problem I've seen is an album may be split, with some tracks in each of 2 or more album entries in the listing. Fixed the same way.

How do I delete a MobileMe gallery? I open iPhoto where I created the album, right-clicked on the album to delete. Then I proceeded to watch an indicator dot with and arrow spin, and spin and spin. Finally the spinning stopped, but the album is still listed. Help! How do I remove these? This is also happening for Facebook albums I want to delete as well. Any thoughts?
