How do I delete a program (and all remnants) from my iMac?

My wife has a 20" iMac with an HP printer (USB connection). I need to delete all references to HP printer software from her iMac so I can re-install her printer's software. Her iMac sees my wireless HP printer and not her printer. Thanks!

The fact that those internal contacts lists aren't editable is an irritation to many. I've submitted feedback to Apple several times on this, asking that in a future OS release they should either
Provide a way to directly access that list of 'Recent Addressees' and Delete unwanted ones, or
If not that, then at least mode it so that addressses selected from that list bubble up to the top, therefore over time moving the unused ones down out of sight.

Just like the heading suggests, how can I do this? I've tried my best but can't seem to find a way to acces the "place" where the apps are installed/stored.

Just press and hold the app until they start to shake, and press the 'x' on any that you want to delete; press the home button when you've finished so as to stop the shaking. That should delete the app and all it's data/content. You can't delete any of the Apple built-in apps (iTunes, iPod, App Store, Game Centre etc.).

Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

Im having trouble freeing up some space on my ipod so that I can download more TV shows on it. How do I delete the old stuff?

I use automatic sync, but only checked songs/podcasts. When I had a Classic 160, I synced everything, because I had the space. Either way, my podcasts would be removed from the iPod after I had listened to them, but I don't know if TV shows do that too. If not, you can always uncheck them in iTunes after you are done, and they will be off the iPod, but still in iTunes. You can also manually sync. Instructions for both are in the manual, which you can download here.
By the way, I haven't used my Nano 6th gen for TV, but I've heard it doesn't support video. I know that my video podcasts don't work. Are you using an older Nano?

I am at my wits end. I have the Medicare express plus app and I have had to recreate a new myGov account and link the app back up with the new myGov. However, because I had an old myGov account the app is still linked up to that and I can't uninstall and reinstall to put new data into it and link it to the new myGov. Stupid myGov account, if you stuff up your passwords 3 times it locks you out for the rest of your life. You have to create a new account with new email everything. DUMB!! Anyway....
I have deleted the app. I have deleted the info off iTunes and put in recycle bin then deleted the contents then synced. Whenever I go to reinstall the medicare app, it reinstalls the app with all the same info, which no longer works because it's linked to the old myGov. So it is not making me re register again at all. So frustrating. It is not in my icloud info either, so it's not picking it up from there, i've checked the settings on the iphone for that. Once I deleted it and synced on itunes, I then turned the phone off and on again and then tried to reinstall again, STILL giving me the same app with same data, which doesn't work anymore.. far out!!
I want to reinstall the app and have to start from scratch and register again. It just won't come to the party and it's starting to irriate me to no end. I just don't know how to fix it.
Can someone please help me??? Anyone?????

It's not clear from your post if you've tried downloading the app again from the App Store directly on your phone. If you haven't I'd give that a try.

My daughter bought a new macbook and would like to move her itunes library from the windows machine to the mac. I copied it to the mac and moved the existing itunes folder to the trash. By the way, she got 3 free downloads from Apple and they were in the library I moved to the trash bin. I then moved the backup folder to the location of the itunes folder I had deleted. Thank you. As I understand it, if the original iTunes folder had never been populated, we would have been able to move the library exported from Windows into iTunes and preserve the playlists. Because my daughter downloaded 3 songs she does not even like, we have no way of preserving playlists? There must be some way to remove all connections to the first library. Is it possible remove the iTunes application and then either re-install it from the original disks or else download it. I know you can download iTunes for Windows, not sure if it is there for Macs. My guess is that if she starts itunes from scratch, there would be no references to the intial DB and we could then move in the folder from Windows without a problem.

iTunes, along with Quick Time, iCloud, Apple Software Update, Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support and Apple Application Support can all be removed from your PC by uninstalling them using 'Uninstall or change a program' in Control Panel. The only obvious thing that will be left behind is your iTunes library which remains untouched. If you want to remove that as well it's just a question of deleting it.
