How do I delete a video from my iPhone if it only shows in desktop iMovie?

As subject, really - somehow I've got a 3m37s video on my iPhone 4S which will ONLY show up in iMovie on the Mac when I go to import other clips. I cannot see it in Camera Roll on the phone, or in iMovie on the phone, or in any of the other photo / video apps. The ONLY WAY I can see this movie is through Mac iMovie - which only has the option to import clips, not delete them.
How am I supposed to get rid of this video? I've already tried resetting my Photo Stream and it seems it didn't work. iTunes shows 1.1gb of "Other" when my iPhone is plugged in, and I have a feeling it's this video since it doesn't seem to know it's there, other than - well, you get the idea.
Any help appreciated.

Replying to my own post - heh. I downloaded iExplorer (http://www.macroplant.com/iexplorer/) which allowed me access to the files on the phone and there was the phantom movie in the DCIM folder. Deleted it, and all is well - although I still have 0.65gb of Other in iTunes.....

everytime i purchase songs on itunes and sync them to my iphone 4, the songs downloads twice. one as the actual song, and the second one doesnt do anything. when you click on it, it just skips to the next song and doesnt play anything. also this second song has this cirlce dot thing next to it when i am scrolling through my songs in my music...so how do i get rid of this second download? its really annoying to have and it wont let me delete it off my phone. alsoooo since it doesnt show up in my itunes library, i cant delte it off there either! On the springboard, locate the app you want to delete. For this example, I’ll use WeatherBug.

How do I delete photo albums from my IPhone that don't show up in Itunes?

I have an IMac recently upgraded to OSX 10.9. My Iphone is a 4S running 7.0.4. I know how to manage songs and photos using ITunes, but somehow my entire photo library has been synched to my IPhone. The odd thing is the photos don't show up when I run the Preview Application (one way to remove photos from the IPhone). Only the Camera Roll photos show up there. And in ITunes I do not have any albums checked to synch. I have no idea how the albums got onto my phone, and no idea how to remove them.
In ITunes, I make sure no photo albums are selected, and I choose "synch," but they just won't remove from the Iphone. When I look under "Settings" "General" on my Iphone sometimes it shows over 8,000 photos and sometimes 2,000 photos. But the albums never are removed. Another strange thing is that in ITunes "Photos" at the bottom where you see the colored visuals of what applications are using space "Other" consumes more than half my space.
I'm about ready to do a factory reset. Can anyone help????

that can sometimes happen, when trying to update the software failed. Then partially downloaded updates will take up a lot of space. Photos synced to iDevices can only be removed by syncing again.
If syncing again with just one small album with a single photo selected will not remove the synced albums, back up the iPhone to iTunes and restore the device to factory settings:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
Restoring should get rid of the "other" and the synced albums.

is it a movie you have shot yourself or is it one you have downloaded?
if it's a download then you need to uninstall via iTunes, just uncheck the movie and then sync,
if it is one you have shot yourself then :
Tap select top right: tap the video you want to delete: tap the bin.

I've met the problem too before. but i solved it with Audio Converter Mac instead of iMovie. If you have similar situation that just want to keep audio but not video, and if your file format is not workable in iMovie, you can use the Audio Converter for help too. it can easily help to extract audio soundtrack from any video format. What I was trying to do though was to mass delete the voice memos from the phone, and I was told that one can do that via iTunes. Problem is that when I do open iTunes, I am not able to locate a TAB thats says ON THIS IPHONE
I was told that one could click on this and then select multiple Voice Memos and delete this way.

i realised i have this 200mb of messages this morning & tried deleting my messages but it started to hang half way and my phone gets very hot. thn i do pressed my lock & home button to reset the phone, thn it cool atfer awhile but i got all my messges back lol..
