How do I delete all data (wipe the MacBook clean) WITHOUT start up discs?

I need to wipe my Macbook clean for a family member to buy... I would just delete files no longer needed but I think some of my progams are corrupt (they work improperly) so I'd rather just give them the computer with a fresh start. It's a Mac OSX 10.6.8, not entirely sure if it's Snow Leopard or Lion or whatever the newer ones are (I was given this laptop) and I don't have the disc it came with. How do I do this, if possible with out any disc?
If not possible, what's the most efficient way of deleting everything with out causing more corruption and setting it as close as possible to factory?

Your "family member" will need some OS X to use the MacBook - a blank drive will not be of no use. My local Apple Store sells the authentic 10.6. (http://store.apple.com/ca/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard) Perhaps you (or your relative) can talk your local store into selling you a copoy.

Oops -- the Mac's Operating System is Mountain Lion, not iOS. I will assume you mean delete all your information, but leave Mountain Lion.
To do that, you can reboot your computer holding down the "Command" and "R" keys at least till the Apple logo appears (6 or 7 seconds). Choose the recovery disk. You'll then be able to erase your hard drive using Disk Utility and then reload Mountain Lion.

You are able to activate an old device and process an insurance claim for your iPhone 4s within 60days from the incident date. You can't remove the built-in root certificates, but you can remove their trust bits via the Edit button to prevent Firefox from using them as a trusted root certificate.
Intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored when visiting websites that show as "Software Security Device" should never has trust bits set.
Note that it is the responsibility of a server to send all required intermediate certificates to make it possible to build a certificate chain that ends with a built-in root certificate.

When you start up your iMac holding the T key, it will start up in Target Disk mode. In this mode, the iMac's hard disk appears as an external drive in your MacBook Pro, so you can access there and recover your data.
After starting in Target Disk mode, open a Finder window in the MacBook Pro and you will see the iMac's hard drive in the Finder sidebar, under "Devices". Select it, navigate through your folders and copy them to your MacBook Pro's hard drive.

You can do it, but you need another library signed in to iTunes match. That second library shouldn't have any local files stored.
Delete the entry from that second library and it will ask you to confirm that you want to remove the file from the cloud. Confirm that you do.
Now, as long as you don't delete the file from your main library it will have an iCloud status of "removed" and won't be in the cloud or try add it again.
However, if you sign out of match on that computer and then sign in again it will then re-add it to the cloud, so this isn't a method to use if you tend to turn match on and off much.
I have had the Beatles Mono albums in my main library, but not in the cloud, for a while now without any problems.

Hello and welcome to the Palm forums.
A hard reset wipes everything off your device. A hard reset is performed by holding down the power/end call button while removing the battery from your device for a few seconds. Keep your hand on the power/end call button until you put the battery back into your device. After you put the battery back in, the screen will say "Palm Powered." Take your hand off the power/end call button. You will now see a screen in 5 languages prompting you to erase all data from the palm. The screen will say "erase all data? Yes - up, no - down" and you need to click on the up arrow (button on the 5 way navigator on the bottom of the treo). This will erase all the info from your device.

Are you using the same iCloud ID on both devices?
Is Contacts turned on in Settings>iCloud?
If so then you will have the same contacts.
Are you syncing contacts fro other services like Google contacts?

When I saw my activity monitor I realised there were just 12 gigabytes remaining in my hard drive (I'm using a 128GB Macbook Air) and before doing all this there were 47 gigabytes remaining. My iPhoto library is about 35GB, and I think I didn't replaced the library, I duplicated it. I'd really like to know if someone can help me finding the other library and deleting it, because I'm getting out of space in my mac.

Probably your best bet is to run your iPhoto library on an external drive
Moving the iPhoto library is safe and simple - quit iPhoto and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity to the external drive - depress the option key and launch iPhoto using the "select library" option to point to the new location on the external drive - fully test it and then trash the old library on the internal drive (test one more time prior to emptying the trash)
And be sure that the External drive is formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) (iPhoto does not work with drives with other formats) and that it is always available prior to launching iPhoto
And backup soon and often - having your iPhoto library on an external drive is not a backup and if you are using Time Machine you need to check and be sure that TM is backing up your external drive

Delete the pictures in the "camera roll" using computer.
On Windows:
Open up the DCIM folder from "My computer", select all the pictures/videos (Ctrl + A) and hit delete.
You could have selected the option "erase after importing" while importing the pictures on to your HDD.

That is going to depend on where the application is stored...
If it's Bloatware (e.g. Verizon Navigator, Bing, etc...) you will need Root permission on your phone to remove it.
If it's something you installed from the Google Play Store, then all you will need to do is open the Play store, select the Menu button, select "My Apps" and then open the app. This should give you the "Uninstall" button.
