  • How can I delete all my music from my iPhone 4s

How can I delete all the music from my iPhone?

I finally went to Apple Care tech support (the best!) for help.
Plug your phone into the computer.
    I-Tunes should open.
Toward the top left of the page, click on the small I-Phone icon.
    Select Music in the sidebar.
In the right window, your music should appear.
De-select what you don't want, then click Sync.
    Voila.
    I am running Yosemite 10.1.1

When you connect the iPhone to your iTunes and then restore. Restore from your backup and it takes everything off the iPhone and puts your data on it.

  • How do I delete all the contacts from my iPhone 3?

How do I delete all the contacts from my old iPhone 3 without having to do each one individually?

If you've already deleted "everything else"...then plug your phone into a power source and: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings.
Make sure you plug into a power source first...not your computer...as on an iPhone 3G, this can take some time. When finished, all data will be gone.

  • How can I delete all the music from my iPhone and reinstall it?

I am trying to delete all the music from my iPhone 5 and reinstall it.  The names of some of the albums and the artists did not import correctly from my CDs.  I went back into iTunes and made corrections, synced my phone and no changes were made to the music on my phone.  And two of the albums (I only have albums, not individual songs) are duplicated on the phone, though they are not in my iTunes library.
I have gone into iTunes, selected the device at the top right corner, selected all the music that showed up in the window - gone to the Edit menu, selected "all" and then "delete."  The list of tracks disappears from the device list.  I then synced the phone again, and the albums are still on the phone.  What am I missing, please?  I've even shut the phone down and restarted it, synced it again, but nothing changes.
    Help, please?

Follow the instructions here or here; the first set of instructions may require a power source other than a computer's USB port, so you should have one of these before proceeding. Your iPod is a fourth generation model.

  • HT201269 How can I delete all my data from former Iphone 4 for future sale on Ebay?

    Hello!
I've just purchased an Iphone 5 from a new carrier. Now I should like to sell my former Iphone 4 but, obviously, removing all my personal data (contacts, photographs, etc.) .  How can I transfer the ringtones that I purchased from by Iphone 4?
How can I do it? Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Maria

backup the device and restore it as new.
If you already have or don't need a backup:
    Erase your device
Erasing all content and settings will delete all the data from your device, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, calendar information, and any other data. All device settings are restored to their factory condition.
To remove all settings and information from your device, tap Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. For more information about this feature, see iOS: Understanding 'Erase All Content and Settings'.
If you are unable to erase your device, restore the device using iTunes.
See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137  for the exact steps.
Transferring ringtones isn't supported, as far as I know...

  • How i can delete all my messages from my iphone 4 at once

hi how i can delete all messages from iphone 4

You can restore a backup of the old device to a new one.  This will erase everything on the new one before restoring, so this may be an issue if you already have data on the new device.
To do a backup of the old device, iTunes is the safest route, in my opinion.  Many users have lost photos when performing a restore from an icloud backup.
An icloud backup does not include everything.  For example, only photos in camera roll are backed up.  Also, music is not backed up since you get it back from itunes and (for purchased music) from the itunes store.
    To restore:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Go to Settings>General>Reset and tap Erase All Content and Settings.  This will erase your phone.  Then you will go through the setup screens again as you did when your phone is new, and when given the option, select Restore from iCloud Backup.

HHow do I delete my credit card info from my iPhone in settings and the App Store

To remove it from your account, tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account  - that should give you a payments link on your account's page from where you can change remove/change your payment details.
Changing payment info : Change or remove your payment information from your iTunes Store account (Apple ID) - Apple Support
If you don't get the 'none' option on the payment details screen : Why can’t I select None when I edit my Apple ID payment information? - Apple Support

  • How can I delete all music files from my iPhone and start again?

I rebuilt my iTunes library. I was under the impression that the first post-rebuild sync would erase all media from my iPhone.
Under the Summary tab in iTunes, I checked Sync only checked songs and videos, and in my music list all songs are unchecked.
Under the Music tab in iTunes, I checked Sync Music, and because all my songs are unchecked it shows 0 songs.
However, after syncing, the status bar at the bottom of the Music tab still shows all my songs previously loaded as taking up memory, and when I open the Music app on my iPhone all those songs are still listed (although they are not playable).
How can I clear everything out and start from scratch?

  • How do I delete all my music from my iPhone 4s (v 7.1.2)?

I've tried syncing my phone whilst selecting no songs to be synced, but after the process is supposedly finished, all my music is still on my iPhone. Also many of my songs are unplayable on my iPhone, they're titles appear faded and cannot be individually deleted by swiping the song title to the left.

Yes all my music was synced from this computer.
When I go to the music tab in my iPhone menu (I assume that's the "Music" you are referring to) and uncheck "Sync Music" then all that is present on that page is the box that includes the following options:
    "Entire music library
    Selected playlists,artists, albums and genres
    Include music videos
    Include voice memos"
Furthermore, the bar that displays the storage distribution at the bottom of the page indicates that I have 10.43 GB free whereas when I check how much free space I have available from the settings on my iPhone, it tells me that I have 4.2 GB available.

  • How can I delete all my photos from my iphone ios8

I have backed up all my photos from my Camera Roll on my computer. I know wish to free up that space. It is 1300 photos. I do not have time to sit and tap through each moment and delete. Too many moments. There must be a quicker way to delete all photos from the iPhone memory drive, either from the iPhone itself or iTunes.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
Connect it with a USB cable and use your photo application on your computer to import them.

The following link gives information on how to import your photos to your computer from your phone: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
Once they are on your computer you can delete them from the Camera Roll on your phone. If you want to move some back to albums on the phone you can do a sync in iTunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1386

  • How can I delete all the songs from my iPhone 5s.

The software is up to date so its not that. I have also turned off the 'show all' option and there are still tracks left. It won't let me drag the songs sideways to delete, and when I connect the phone on my iTunes and click un-sync it from my music it STILL doesn't remove all of it (despite a message saying this will remove all songs and playlists- rubbish).
Hey Apple your new itunes is awful. Any solutions would be appreciated.

    Go to your Settings.
    *General
    *Usage
then find your music, swipe over it from right to left. "Delete" option will come and and just press.
Ta da..  Just managed myself so I am very happy/proud
