How do I delete an album of photos from iphoto?

How do I delete an album from iphoto?

Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin.  Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

You will need to connect your iPad to your computer, and on the Photos tab de-select those folders that you no longer want on the iPad - they can't be deleted directly on the iPad. If you no longer want any synced photos on your iPad then you can select and sync just an empty folder.

  • How do I delete large amounts of photos from my ipad?

    a

Are you using iPhoto on your iPad? Then deleting photos will depend on the album they are in and how they have been added to the iPad.
See this document for IOS 6 and earlier:   iPhoto for iOS (iPad): Delete photos from iPhoto
If you also have a Mac, you can delete quickly large amounts of photos from your camera roll by connecting your iPad to your computer using USB and importing the photos into Image Capture, iPhoto, or Aperture. Then set the option to delete the photos after importing.
Photos you synced to your iPad can only be deleted by syncing again.
If you are using IOS 7 you can delete larger amounts of photos from your Camera Roll in the "Moments" view:
n the Photos.app you can select all photos in a "Moment" at once, by pressing "Select" to the right of the "Moment" name. Then press the Trash icon.
    For example:

  • How can I delete an album i purchased from itunes from my iPhone 5

All I want to do is delete an album I brought 18months ago thru iTunes . I brought it originally on my iPad 2
Now it's on my iPhone 5
    I want it gone ...
and there's no delete button on my phone
Yet there is on the iPad
    It's doing my head in
    Someone please explain
    And in a basic term

    Hello Kate,
Follow these steps to delete the photos on your iPhone that were synced over from your computer (be sure to just check albums that you want to sync or don't do not check any albums if you don't want any photos synced over):
To delete synced photos and videos
In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
    Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
    Click Apply.

  • How do I delete all of my photos from my "photo library,""iPhone,""My Snap

Please help! I have too many photos and while I have managed to download my "camera roll" photos to my PC, my photo library & iPhone still have 6052 pictures!! I already have all of these photos on my PC and they are on a back up as well. I just need to know how to delete them from my iphone so I have some storage room for apps and music.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ANSWER(S). I SINCERELY APPRECIATE IT!

The phone has to be plugged in. Across the top of the iTunes once you have selected the device are Summary, Info, Apps, Ringtones, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, iTunes U, Books and the last one is photos. On that tab remove the checkmark next to Sync Photos from: If you cannot see this on your screen, your screen resolution may be too low. You will need to increase the resolution so you can see it. I don't use Mac, so I'm not sure what you will need to do, but that is where you should find it.

  • HOW DO I IMPORT THEN OPEN MY PHOTOS FROM IPHOTO LIBRARY IN BRIDGE?

HOW DO I OPEN MY PHOTOS IN IPHOTO IN BRIDGE AND THEN IN PHOTOSHOP?

Please don't type in all caps.  It's difficult to read and rude, as it is like shouting,
iPhoto doesn't play nice with Adobe applications—or with any other application.
iPhoto hides all your images in proprietary libraries.  You need to manually export them from within iPhoto.
Once you do that, put them in a folder or folders anywhere in the Finder.  You don't need to "import" anything in Bridge.  You simply launch Bridge and browse.  Bridge is just a file browser, nothing less and nothing more.
Bridge does not open or edit any images or files.  It just finds them and hands them over to the application, whether that be Photoshop, Camera Raw, Illustrator, Acrobat, or even MS Word.
Any files you move or folders you create in the Finder are instantly reflected in Bridge, and vice versa.

  • How do I delete pictures off my iPhone from iPhoto

Is there a way to delete pictures from my iPhone using iPhoto because it takes a long time to delete each one using my phone.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thank you

How To Delete Photos from iPhone
OK, so I finally figured out a way to delete / remove pictures from your iPhone (on a Mac) regardless of whether or not they have been imported into iPhoto.
It seems that iPhoto '08 (7.1.1) cannot do it —this is a weakness of iPhoto. Use IMAGE CAPTURE application, not iPhoto.
Quit iPhoto. Open Image Capture and choose the "Download Some..." option. You will then see all of your pictures stored in the Camera Roll on the iPhone. Select one or a range or even all of the photos you wish to remove, and choose Edit -> Delete. The selected photo(s) will be removed from the iPhone.
Nerds Only: If you want to see something fun, with your iPhone plugged into your Mac, go look at the Camera Roll of pictures on the phone itself. Use the thumbnail index view. Then, when you use Image Capture.app to delete the pictures, you see them disappear one by one very quickly from the iPhone screen. Cool.

  • How do I resize/change resolution of photos from iPhoto when used in iWeb

I am shooting with a 7.1 Mega Pixel Canon to get enough quality to crop and print high quality pictures of my baby daughter and her adventures in the world.
I have a website up made with iWeb, but when I select the photos in iPhoto and go Share / Sent to iWeb / photo page - I get a nice layout of the photos but at full resolution when the thumbnails are selected or the slide show is run. Although nice and sharp, this is a pain for anyone looking at the site even with high speed access.
There must be some way to resize photos, but I have yet to figure that out with iPhoto, let alone iWeb. And as one photo at a time is a pain, there must also be a way to rescale a whole selection of photos that I want to use for a page - say her Disneyworld trip. I can't be the first person to run into this, but I have not found anything out there to point me in the right direction.
Ideally I wold like to create a resized set from the originals - so I can still print and crop in high qulity. I also am not really sure what resolution would be best or easy viewing and download - that's probably subjective. 1200x800 comes to mind but I am open to suggestions.
Perhaps resize is not the right term - changing resolution is probably more accurate, but there too I have not found an answer.
    Appreciate the help and suggestions.

    dan28088,
Tried your site on two different browsers, using highspeed broadband; the site is, indeed, extaordinarily slow. We can dissect the thing down to the last file, but it won't change anything, as far as I can see. If it were me, I would host the site on another server. The .Mac servers are just plain slow, period. I think that is the primary problem here. Just my opinion, others may disagree.
I created a new site this past weekend for a new project, and published it to .Mac. It contains a lot of jpeg files in slideshows (along with the usual png suspects!) . After reviewing it a few times, and not being satisfied with page-load speeds, I published to a folder and uploaded the site to space on 1&1 WebHosting.
The page-load speeds TRIPLED. That's right...3X as fast page-load speeds. Even large, linked to files, 3MB+, load within a reasonable amount of time. (seconds)
I still will keep a .Mac subscription, as I like and use all of the other features of the iDisk. But for serious website hosting, I think you will be better 'served' with a remote host. Your money with .Mac is certainly not wasted; the syncing services and other features of iDisk space that integrate with your local files are well worth the yearly fee. Again, only one user's opinion, based on experience.

  • How can I order a custom size photo from iphoto?

    Hi,
I have three frames that I want to order photos for from iphoto.  The custom size is 5 x 5 which is no problem selecting from within iPhoto, but when it comes time to actually place the "order", there is no option to select a 5 x 5 size.  Can anyone tell me if that is possible?
    Thank you!

You can't from Apple.  You'll have to use a 3rd party online photofinisher that offers square photos. Or print them yourself.
