How do I delete an old sparsebundle when it says token is in use?

I would like to clear off old computers from my airport express time capsule. I was told I could just delete the sparsebundle but I'm getting the message it can't be deleted because token is in use. Any suggestions on what to do now?
IOS 10.6.8
Time Capsule 802.11n (2nd Gen), Version 7.6.4

Reboot the TC and use just the computer that created the sparsebundle. Leave the others off.
See if you can then delete the sparsebundle.. if not. You might need to do the full erase of the TC via the airport utility.. that will delete all sparsebundles on the disk but is worthwhile if that is the only way you can get it to work.
You can archive any sparsebundle you want to a USB drive before deleting if you need them.

If I'm understanding this correctly, you have a broken iPhone that needs repaired, however you need to disable Find My iPhone before the repair can be completed and you cannot remember the password to that account?
First to try on your own, go to iforgot.apple.com. Use the AppleID that was used to set up that iPhone or was signed into iCloud. You will be given a choice of reset by email or security questions. Since the email is out of the question, you'll choose security questions.
If you cannot remember the answers, or more likely how you entered them as the answer are case sensitive, then you'll have to contact AppleCare. They can attempt to verify the account with you, and if they can then send a reset password email to any email address you choose. Just be aware that if you have to use this route, it will take a minimum of 24 hours for the email to arrive. Make sure the email provider accepts email from @id.apple.com.
If you cannot verify the account, then AppleCare can have FMiP removed from that device, but you will have to send in the purchase receipt for that device. It has to be a valid receipt from a qualified reseller, so eBay sales receipts or hand written ones will not work. That process can take up to 48 hours to complete as the FMiP team has to verify all the info. If they can, then they will strip FMiP from the device and assign it to a different AppleID.

I had a similar problem myself. This is what helped me.
I went to the App store app, scrolled to the bottom, logged out of the account, re logged in with my Apple ID. Then went back to app updates. Once I put in my ID password all was fine.

One, you cannot delete an Apple ID, all you can do is stop using it and let it fade away.
Two, apps are permanently tied to an aPple ID and can never be transferred to another. You must use that same ID to update an app, or delete the app and repurchase/download under another ID.

If your device is signed into an old ID of yours that is an earlier version of the ID you want to sign in with, do the following:
If you are using iMessage and FaceTime, make sure you are signed into these services with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iDevice and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll (unless you are using iCloud Photo Library). When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out (or Delete Account if you are not running iOS 8) and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password (your data will download back to your device).

OK that's what Ithought you were talking about.
You can't actually delete an old Apple ID. You just sign into the new ID to use that one. Your old ID must be popping up because you used it in the past to purchase content with it. You cannot transfer purchases from one Apple ID to another Apple ID. You have to continue to use the old ID if you want to update content that was used to purchase with that ID.
Did you sign into your new account in the settings and you can't stay signed in?

Although your profile says you're running iOS 5.1.1 it sounds like you're running iOS 7 (otherwise you would not need your password to delete the old account). ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password.
Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.
