An older version of what ? If you want to go back to an older version of iOS then you can't as downgrading is not supported. If you want to go back to a previous version of an app then have you got an older version of it ?

You can't delete the update and your problem probably is not in the Update.
Check to see if Location Services is turned ON. (Settings > Privacy > Location Services)
What model iPad Mini do you have? WiFi or WiFi + Cellular

Delete some of the content on your iPad. If you have other TV shows that you have already watched or other movies that you've already watched, go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Videos. Swipe across any of the shows or movies to bring up the red delete button.
You should be able to download them again later. But read this first.

The easiest way for me was to use the same .itmsp file that iTunes Producer originally made, make the changes to that file (update the assets, metadata, whatever) and re-deliver from that. No idea if this is the most efficiant, but so far everything seems to be working fine.

You have a couple of options for updating or deleting using a Filter.
For deleting you can use an Entry Processor and the cache invokeAll method. Using "out of the box" Coherence you can use the ConditionalRemove entry processor. I'm a Java person so the C++ below might not be exactly right but you should get the idea.

Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center on June 25. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Apple Software Update entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try installing iTunes again. Does the install go through properly now?
(If you do find a clean download site for the correct version of CleanUp, please don't tell me where it is. Without wishing to sound paranoid (although I grant it does sound paranoid), there is a non-zero chance that posting links to download locations for the utility here at Discussions leads to that download location being shut down.)
