I just purchased the Iphone 5 and cannot delete emails other than from my Yahoo account. I use hostmonster for my business email and I continue to recieve an error message when I try to delete, UNABLE TO MOVE MESSAGE THE MESSAGE CANNOT BE MOVED TO THE MAILBOX TRASH. I saw a post that said to include under advanced settings INBOX in the IMAP Path Prefix but this did not solve the problem.

This can be resolved by ensuring the account is correctly linked to the trash mailbox in your settings.

In you mailbox you have an edit button up top on the right, click that and a button will show up next to each email, then you click the button on all the emails you want to delete.

It would depend on the type of mail account you are using. If you have an IMAP or Exchange account deleting mail from one client is going to sync to the other clients. You cannot remove from one device and not the others. POP mail however, does allow one to delete mail from one client and it remain on the other clients. Because POP mail is downloaded to the individual clients, whereas mail in IMAP and Exchange resides on the server, and is just viewed on the individual machines.

To remove a photo from iPhoto and your Mac:
Put it in the iPhoto Trash, then enpty it. Then empty the system trash as well
If you want to remove a photo from iPhoto but keep it on your Mac:
First Export the file from iPhoto (File -> Export) to whereever you want it and then go through the steps above.
Confusion arises as the notion that you would want to remove a pic from iPhoto but keep it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. It's like saying I want to remove one address from Address Book, but still keep it on my Mac. The point of iPhoto and such apps is that they are used to manage your photos. Anything that you need to do with the pics cn be done either with or via iPhoto.

You don't. That's the way Exchange Active Sync works. It fully synchronizes the two.
The Blackberry allowed you to do that because all of your Exchange e-mail was actually going through another server before it ever got to your phone. Blackberry uses a middleman server (for lack of a better term) to handle communication. Your BB was never actually communicating directly with your Exchange server.
