Hi,
I have a bogus event on my ipod that is still there, despite the fact that I removed it from ical on my macbook, and then updated my ipod. It won;t go away and it's driving me crazed...
Can someone help?

To delete birthdays, you have two options:
1. Delete the person's birthday from their contact entry.
2. In calendar, click "Calendars" in the upper left and uncheck the "Birthdays" calendar.

Did you create the event somewhere else? A lot of time when u create it on lets say PC or mac, you wont be able to edit it unless its from the same device.
Its also possible its created under a mail account. I would suggest making all your events via icloud, then u should be able to edit it on all platforms regardless on which device made the event.

I'd like to know how to delete a calendar event from my iPhone4 (iOS 5.1) calendar. The event was sent to me from a mobileMe synced iPhone4 (iOS 5.1) calendar and for some reason it was set to daily repeat forever.
The event has been deleted from the originators calendar now, but the result has not been propagated to my calendar, despite an update being sent out. When I attempt to accept it just hangs and doesn't update in my calendar.
More annoyingly, the event doesn't have an edit button in my calendar, so I cannot delete it (and all other occurences) myself.
Any ideas on how to remove it?

A workaround. Not perfect but it gets rid of it.
Do the below link's steps and then deselect that calendar from view.

Hello, I have a MacBook Pro running OS X Lion and my wife has an iPad 2.
I invited her to a recurring event through iCal on the MacBook Pro. My wife accepted the invite and added it to her calendar on the iPad 2. I later updated the event from monthly to every four weeks. My wife accepted the update but it added it as a second event on the iPad, i.e., both the original monthly series and the four-weekly series are present in the iPad calendar. On the MacBook Pro only the updated event series is present.
I've since deleted the event on the MacBook Pro. My wife received the notification of the delete on the iPad 2 but there was no option to delete the event.
How can I delete the two recurring iPad series?

View the calendar in Month view.
Tap on the event. You should see an outline of an arrow pointing to the event. At the opposite end of the arrow from the event should be and Edit button.
Tap Edit and a larger box with the details of the event shall appear. At the bottom of that box should be a Red Delete button.
This should appear for all events but perhaps automatic events or pleating events are different.

I have double entries to my calendar after a sync. How do I prevent this from hapening and how do I delete the extra events.

I installed iSync from my SL backup and all went well as it showed up in my applications and when brought up on the screen, launched, I reset the history.
When trying to sync my calendars again I first uncheck all calendars via iTunes, syncronized and then check the one I wanted and syncronized again. No difference, ended up with many multiples.
I then searched a little further using spotlight typing in just iSync and a developer file showed up that looks like it is designed to reset the history but no sure. I opened in in Komodo but don't know how to proceed from there.
Here is the file: Under Usage it seems I could run this file but not sure how to. Could you help with this or am I on the wrong track?

I'm trying to do this very thing. I have multiple google calendars set up (one for each kid, my husband etc.). I want to move to iCal exclusively. Based on your note above, should I export each individual calendar within ical. Remove each from the iCal account and then reimport then into ical? I suppose the risk is low b/c the data still exists in google.
Please advise - I would hate to misstep. Very new to the apple world (aside from iphone / ipad).

uninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. When I synced, & recovered the contacts, the calendar recovered events (as current) that I had deleted last winter.
I check out audiobooks from the local library & download them using OneClickDigital Media Manager. It goes thorugh iTunes to get the book onto my phone. It shows up pale in iTunes (All other items are in bold print.) & the book does not show up on my phone at all.

Very strange! All of my calendar events have reappeared. This has happened one week after downloading iOS 7
The calendar however, is not easy to use.
The typing function on the phone has become even slower. Have to wait for each letter to show on screen.

I have gone online and read the manual as to trying to find the answer but I can't. So maybe fellow users can assist me?
In the recent calls tab on Ver 3.1 How do I delete individual calls without deleting the entire history of all the other calls?
Say I have ten phone calls on my screen in the recent tab. I want to delete the one from Bob Claus and leave the rest of the history of all other callers there?
How does one do this please?
