How do I delete large number of email messages?
I get a large number of emails. Is there a way to select them on my iPod Touch 32g in groups rather than one at a time when I delete many messages?
Did you ever find a solution to this?
I, too, would like to DELETE lots of emails at the same time, even ALL of my old emails, without having to use EDIT, then touching each email one at a time, then selecting DELETE. Painfully slow if you have 200+ emails ... this should take 5 seconds, not 10 minutes.

With an Exchange or IMAP account you can delete the messages with the email client used on your computer or via webmail access for the account - all server stored mailboxes are kept synchronized with the server with each email client used to access the account.
Not possible with an antiquated POP account. -

To delete multiple emails touch Edit, select all the emails and then touch Trash.
There is no way to delete all emails from the Inbox. One can delete all emails from Trash. -

You should have 200 undos, and can verify this in the bottom left flyout >> show >> number of undos (this show shows many undos you have cahced, not your max amount, will max out at 200)
You can try changing the 200 in the illustrator preferences, by using a text editor, saving and then booting illustrator. Not sure this is a great idea, as 200 should be plenty, but let us know your results if you try.

Older versions of Illustrator let you change this in the preferences, but they must have decied that hitting CMD Z more than 200 times is not a good way to spend your afternoon. -

So far the only way I have found is to go down the list one at a time and Ctrl+Click and then delete. Since Itunes can designate duplicates, is there a function for removing all the duplicates before I synch my ipod???

You can delete as many emails at a time as you can or choose to select, but there is no select all, if that is what you are looking for (except in the trash folder).

Thanks in advanceSelect all the messages you want to delete. If they are all in a convenient block in one account use Select All. Otherwise, select the first message in the list you want to remove, hold down the SHIFT key and scroll to the bottom of the list then click on the last message to select the entire list.

You can't. You highlight each one, then hit delete. Once in your trash, you'll have the delete all button.

You can't. Why on earth would you attempt to manage 2500 emails with setting up a folder structure or some means of doing so? Simply keeping them in an single inbox is not realistic, no matter what email client you use.
