How do I delete more than one but not all emails at once?

I don't want to have to click on or check mark 6K emails individually to erase them all. This seem like a most basic feature element.
Can it be done efficiently? or at all?

One way to do it: Right-click on the folder and select "Search Messages" from the menu. Enter your search criteria for the messages you want to delete. After the search completed, click into the list in the lower part of the search window and use the Ctrl+A keyboard shortcut to highlight all results. Now you can delete them all at once (or move them somewhere else, which I would recommend as an intermediate step if your deleted message aren't moved to Trash but deleted right away, in case your search caught some messages you ''didn't'' want to lose).

With your Mail app open and the listing of the messages, tap Edit at the top right.  Then check each circle on the left side of the messages to delete.  When you have checked those to delete, tap Trash at the lower right.
Next tap Mailboxes upper left, under accounts select the account, then for the account tap Trash.  Select Edit upper right, and at the bottom, Delete All, and confirm Delete All and all will be removed at one time.

    Hi operatorcarmax,
Select the Rows (shift click works for me). Then hover the cursor over any selected Row label to see the upside-down triangle. Click on it to see a Pop-up menu.
The Numbers User Guide is available for download under the Numbers Help Menu. A good read.

  • TS3899 Hi. How do I attach more than one document to an email on the iPad, especially if they come from different apps? When writing an email on the iPad there's no option for attachments.

Hi. How do I attach more than one document to an email originating from my iPad, especially if the documents come from different apps? When starting an email there's no option for attachments, unless you send the document from inside an app like iBook and then you can only send one at a time.

How can I send more than one foto in a email?

Or, to send up to 5 photos in one email, open the Photos app, go to the Album containing the photos, tap Select, tap up to 5 photos (a blue tick will appear on them), then tap the Share icon (square with arrow pointing up) and choose Mail.
If you choose more than 5 photos this way, you won't get the Mail option.

How do I attach more than one PDF to an email?

It depends upon what app that the PDFs are in and whether that app allows you to select more than one file/PDF to attach to an email - if the app that you have doesn't support it then there are other apps which support PDFs which do e.g. GoodReader.

  • How do I attachment more than one document to an email?

I found out how to send than one photo vie the iPad Guide.....as long as the photos are in the same album, I assume.
Now....how do I attach more than one document to an email?
    Any help would be appreciated!

The photos don't need to be in the same album - you can select from the 'all photos' screen.
In terms of attaching more than one document, I use the GoodReader app, which supports multiple file types e.g. PDFs, pictures, word and excel (read-only) etc and which allows you to select and attach multiple files, which can be of different types e.g. you can attach a picture and a PDF.

  • How do you send more than one photo in an email?

As above.....can you attach more than one photo to an email?

Yes. If you are in the Photos app in thumbnail view (i.e. the photos are not full screen), then if you tap the icon top right of the box with the arrow coming out of it, you should be able to select up to 5 photos and be able to then tap the Email button top left to attach them to an email

  • How do I share more than one link on an email page from safari?

Trying to share links with web pages in an eamil, use the share this page as link works ok but when I try to share more than one page on the same email Mail refuses to accept - any solutions appreciated

Unfortunately, you can only share one link at a time from the Safari File > Share menu.
A workaround is to open a new mail window then drag links to the window from the Safari address bar.

  • How can I delete more than one Email (but not ALL) at once in the new Mail program?

In OS X 10.7 it was possible to just right click an email and then scroll down or up to delete i.e. 10 Emails at once. But in OS X 10.8 this doesn't work anymore. I have to delete one mail after the other which is exhausting after a while and with a lot of emails! But I don't want to delete all of them (would be too easy with CTRL-A and then Return) just a few. Any ideas? I didn't find it out yet and I want it the easy Mac-Way and not the complicated Windows-way
Thanks for any inout on that!!

You can now double-click and drag down the list of emails to select multiple, consecutive messages to delete.
For non-consecutive messages, command-click on the ones you want to delete.
