How do I delete one of two admin users in Mountain Lion?

Hi,
I have just migrated data from my iMac (Snow Leopard) to a new Macbook Pro (10.8). When setting up the computer at the Apple store, I chose my name and surname to set the computer (icon image is an eagle from the Apple library).
When I then migrated the data (via external backup and using migration assistant) to the new Macbook, I was prompted to rename the user account ("the user account that you are transferring has the same name as an existing account on your computer. you can't have two user accounts with same name on your computer"). So I renamed the account differently.
All my data has migrated correctly, including my emails. But I cannot see my personal icon in my mailboxes in Mail, I still see the image of the eagle. I went into system preferences and wanted to delete the original admin user account (the one with the eagle image) but it is greyed out and I cannot delete it.
What is happening exactly? Why do I see the icon of the other admin user account in my mail and not the one I used on my old iMac. How can I delete this user account? Is there a particular reason why I couldn't delete this account?

You can't delete an account, all you can do is remove any personal info from it and stop using it. But any content that you downloaded with it will remain tied to that account, so only that account will be able to authorise its downloads on a new computer, redownload it, and download updates to its apps.

If you abandon one of the Apple IDs you will also basically be abandoning any content that you have acquired with that Apple ID. Content can only be updated and re-downloaded with the Apple ID that was used to buy it. Apple will not combine the content of Apple IDs and Apple will not transfer the content from one Apple ID to another Apple ID.

1. Don't confuse "Apple ID" with iTunes Account ID. You can have many Apple IDs but only one iTunes account active at a time.
2. If you "changed" your iTunes account ID, you actually have 2 accounts - one under the old name plus the new name.
3. You can't merge the accounts - they remain separate. Apps purcahsed under the old account name will update ONLY WHEN THE PHONE IS SIGNED IN TO THE OLD ACCOUNT NAME and visa versa.
4. Likewise, you can sync only the apps, music, media purchased under the account the phone AND iTunes are signed in to.

You can't actually delete an iCloud account but you can remove it by signing out at System Preferences>iCloud if it is the promary account, or in Mail, Contacts & Calendars if the secondary, and then juste ignore it.
The Blackeberry can only sync with data held under 'On My Mac'. iCloud can only sync with data under 'iCloud'.
When you set up iCloud your calendars and contacts were moved to the iCloud server. If you want to use Blackberry you will have to move them back to 'On My Mac' and not sync with iCloud: it's one or the other.

To move contacts, File>Export as vCard when you have selected all your contacts, then delete the contacts under iCloud, make 'On My Mac' the default and reimport the vCard.

Download the yahoo email app, if you already deleted and reinstalled the email account and still have issue.
This is a known issue with Yahoo email account.

Just go to the wireless network preferences and empty out all the stored wireless networks.. then scan and connect to the local wireless.
Select them and tap the - button below it.
Once they are emptied out.. it might be good to reboot the computer with the remember networks unchecked.
Start with a clean slate.

They are all part of one Section. Just as you do not (hopefully) rip pages out at random from books, the pages of a Section are linked by the text that flows from one to the other.
If you want to move or delete particular page/s Insert a Section Break at the end of the page before.

If its a POP account, it most likely cannot be changed... Its just the service you signed up for. I suggest deleting on your computer, and then on your iPhone, remove the email address. Then re-add the email and it should only load whats currently on the POP server.

The installer needn't be on your system. Clikc the file ONCE to highlight it, and press Shift+Delete to permanently delete the file.
