This issue is caused by hooking your BlackBerry to a computer that had Desktop Manager setup for BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

iTunes running, your phone connected, on the Info Pane, scroll down to "Advanced". Put a check in the box labeled "Replace Info on this Phone for Contacts" on next sync. Hit the apply/sync button.

I have just launched icloud on my windows 7 laptop, and stupidly followed the instructions and added my outlook email contacts which come up as email addresses to my whole icloud contacts. So, there are now 1000's of contacts which have now appeared on my iphone.
How do I delete these email addresses and preserve the original straightforward names with telephone and address contacts? I am not very technical and am frustrated in my attempts to rectify the situation.

For your yahoo emails go on your computer open outlook
In Outlook 2010, choose File > Accounts.
Click account settings and confirm the command by clicking "Add and remove accounts or change existing connection settings."
Select account and click "Change."
Click "Advanced."
Click "More Settings."
Click the "Advanced" tab.
Enter "7" in the box to the right of "Remove from server after."
Click OK.
Close Account Settings.
If you have outlook 2007
In Outlook 2007, choose Tools > Account Settings.
Click the account you wish to edit and then click Change.
Click the "More Settings" button.
Select the Advanced tab located across the top of the window.
Select the "Leave a copy of messages on the server" option.
Select the "Remove from server after" option.
Enter 7 in the box to the right of "Remove from server after."
Click OK.
Close Account Settings. -

This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details and some other circumstances.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device. It may take a short while to remove the account.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again. -

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. In syncing my iPhone 3GS on iTunes, I now have many copies of the same contact -over 1,000 in one case-on my iPhone. The cause was probably a USB glitch during a sync or when copying. The music resides on the phone in separate files. A master file contains a database with an index to the music, an entry for each track and a "pointer" to the file containing the track. Somehow the index got corrupted with duplicate entries. It's likely that the music itself wasn't duplicated, but some tracks had more than one entry in the database. I've seen this happen when syncing (rather than manually managing) also. In my case deleting the track from the Music tab in iTunes, syncing, then adding it back fixed it.
A related problem I've seen is an album may be split, with some tracks in each of 2 or more album entries in the listing. Fixed the same way. -
