How do I delete photos from an IPad that was synced with a Macbook?
Hope someone on here can help!
We own both a Macbook and an IPad. When we linked them, the IPad brought over ALL (like, around 2000) photos from the Macbook. I would like to delete these from the IPad, but it won't let me.
Any suggestions on what I need to do?
Thanks!

How do I delete photos from my iPad that were synced with my old mac?
I understand that I have to delete synced photos by unchecking them in iTunes on the Mac I synced the iPad with, but what do I do when I have a new mac that doesn't have the same photos as the iPad? How do I delete them then?

How do I delete photos from my ipad that I synced from my computer?
Is there a way to do this? I've tried resyncing with a new folder, but then can't delete the old folders that are on my ipad?
Help?
BelindaSynced photos (e.g. those that aren't in the Camera Roll album) can only be deleted by de-selecting their folders when connected to your computer's iTunes and re-sycning. If you want to remove all synced photos then try selecting and syncing just an empty folder.

how can I delete photos from my ipad that came in when I connected for the first time to my pc? HELP
Photos that were synced from your computer using iTunes can only be deleted by de-selecting them from the folder from where they were synced - and then re-syncing.
Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
If you want to remove all of the Photos - uncheck the Sync Photos from Heading
Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
If you are using iTunes 11 - this will be helpful, Setting up syncing in Windows.

How do i delete photos from my iPad that were imported from a camera
On a recent vacation, I backed up some 1,100 photos onto my iPad each day. Now that I'm home, I've imported the photos into Aperture (or iPhoto) from the camera and no longer need the photos on the iPad.
I can't find a way to delete them except:
one-by-one. VERY time consuming
importing them into a photo app again, selecting remove photos, then deleting the new redundant photos from the phot app
There must be a better way...The links below have instructions for deleting photos.

How do I delete music from my ipad when I synced with ITunes
How do I delete music from my iPad 2?
If manually managing music on your iPad then you can delete music directly in the Music app on your iPad by swiping/dragging across them from right-to-left (or via Settings > General > Usage > Manage Storage > Music), or by connecting the iPad to your computer's iTunes and using the Music section under the 'on my device' heading to select and delete them :
If not manually managing your music then you can delete the music directly in the Music app by swiping/dragging (or via Settings), but when you next sync to your computer's iTunes it's likely to get synced back - so you may want to just reconnect your iPad to your computer's iTunes, change your music sync options to deselect what you no longer want on your iPad, and sync that new selection -
How do I delete photos from my ipad that have been imported directly from a memory card.
I have searched loads of forums and they all talk about using itunes to delete photos, but this seems to only apply to photos that orginated from a PC. The photos I am trying to delete were loaded directly on to my ipad from a memory card and don't appear in itunes. I know I can delete photos individually on my ipad but I have hundreds of them, The only option I have found that comes close to what I want to do is back-up ipad, delete photos I don't want to restore (not sure where to find back up or how to delete), rebuild ipad and restore - this seems a long winded way of doing something that would take less than a minute in windows. I have an ipad1 and am running windows 7 on a standards Windows PC.
Many Thanks in anticipation that someone will be able to help me
Regards
KeithPhotos copied to the iPad via the camera connection kit (and those taken with the iPad or saved from emails/websites etc) should appear in Windows Explorer on a PC so you should be able to delete them from there - those types of photos should make the iPad appear as a camera to your computer. You should also be able to delete them at the end of the photo import process via, for example, the camera wizard.

How do I delete photos on my iPad that were added with the SD card adaptor?
I added photos to my iPad using the SD Card Adaptor over a year ago. They now appear in the 'Photos' tab on the iPad. They are not in Photo Stream and they do not appear in Albums under Camera Roll or Last Import. I have connected my iPad to the PC and opened the DCIM folder and they are not there at all.
I have Googled this question repeatedly and can not find an answer. I have viewed many YouTube tutorials that I thought would give me the right answer and... nope.
Can anyone please help? Thanks Clyde. But the photos do not show up in iTunes either!
Well, let's just say, that I can't see them there! All I see in iTunes under Photos is the option to Sync photos. -
