How To Delete Photos from iPhone
OK, so I finally figured out a way to delete / remove pictures from your iPhone (on a Mac) regardless of whether or not they have been imported into iPhoto.
It seems that iPhoto '08 (7.1.1) cannot do it —this is a weakness of iPhoto. Use IMAGE CAPTURE application, not iPhoto.
Quit iPhoto. Open Image Capture and choose the "Download Some..." option. You will then see all of your pictures stored in the Camera Roll on the iPhone. Select one or a range or even all of the photos you wish to remove, and choose Edit -> Delete. The selected photo(s) will be removed from the iPhone.
Nerds Only: If you want to see something fun, with your iPhone plugged into your Mac, go look at the Camera Roll of pictures on the phone itself. Use the thumbnail index view. Then, when you use Image Capture.app to delete the pictures, you see them disappear one by one very quickly from the iPhone screen. Cool.

How do you delete pictures on your iphone that were downloaded from your computer or memory card?
There is NO other way to get photos off your phone, that were synced to your phone, other than through the iTunes sync process. Just make sure there are no checks, in any boxes, for any photos, that you do not want on your phone.

how do i delete everything off my iphone 6 before i send it off to get repaired after water damage and can't use it
If it does not respond when plugged to a computer running the latest version of iTunes, then it is indeed dead and no content will be recoverable.

I accidentally downloaded a free song from Starbucks months ago, and now I can't get it off my phone. It won't show up when I manually delete music, either on my computer or when I try the swipe method on my phone. It's just there.
There's two songs, actually, and I want them both gone. Turning off my cloud connection didn't change it because they are downloaded onto my phone and won't leave! I just want them gone, because it's a nuisance and I don't even like them. I have a PC, so no tricky Mac tricks will work for me. Please help! Is this some glitch in the software or something?Hello kerrisapatricia,
It sounds like you have a couple of songs you want to delete from your iPhone. This article should help with that:
How to delete content you've downloaded from the iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, or Mac App Store
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5772
To delete a song:
Tap the Music app.
Tap the Songs category.
Swipe left to right over the song you want to delete.
Tap Delete.
If you see a cloud icon next to them right now, or after you delete them you can hide them by turning off Show all Music in your settings here:
Tap Settings > Music
Download past purchases

HOW DO I TRANSFER PICTURES OFF MY IPHONE ONTO MY COMPUTER
How do I transfer Photos from my Iphone to my computer?
Depending on the computer OS platform that you use, you connect the iPhone to the computer and import the photos using whatever import utility on your computer that you would use to get pictures off a digital camera. See this support document. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083

How do I delete pictures off of my ipad
I am having difficulty trying to delete photos off of the ipad
can someone help? How did the photos get onto the device ? If they were taken with the iPad, copied onto it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc then you should be able to delete them directly on the iPad - either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view. Photos that were synced from your computer are deleted by moving/removing/de-selecting them from where they were synced from on your computer and then re-syncing

How do I delete an album of photos from iphoto?
How do I delete an album from iphoto?
Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

How do I get pictures in an album from Iphoto to Imovie ?
I was at the Apple store and the salesclerk showed me quickly how she could take pics from Iphoto and then suddenly they were in Imovie and she created a movie. I try it and am doing something wrong, because it isn't working. Help, please. When I look at the tutorial, I see how to import a movie from a camera, but I want to go from Iphoto to Imovie. Help is appreciated.
That's because you're getting caught by the TV overscan issue. In iDVD create a slideshow using the "+" button at the bottom
and then drag your QT movie file into the slideshow. In iDVD'd advanced preferences select the option to Scale photos to TV safe area.
Then when you're ready to burn save the project as a disk image via the File->Save as Disk Image menu option. This separates the encoding process from the burning process. Mount the disk image on the desktop and play it with DVD Player. If all plays OK the encoding was OK.
Then durn to disc with Disk Utility at the slowest speed available to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatium, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums. -
Hi,
I recently tried to download all of my past purchases in itunes to my iphone through the phone itself. I didn't have a computer available to simply sync the music. Some of the songs downloaded with no problem but the rest didn't and an error message comes up saying 'Unable to download songs' and when I click 'retry' nothing happens. These songs cannot be played on my phone and have a stop symbol beside the track title. My internet connection is fine so I don't understand what the problem is.
However, I do now have a computer with itunes that I could sync to my phone but every time I try to sync the songs they look the same on my iphone. I.e. the tracks still have the stop symbol beside them and I keep getting the download error messages. Does anyone know how to delete/cancel these downloads so that I can remove all the music from the iphone and simply sync it to itunes?
Any help would be very appreciated!Go to Settings > Music and make sure "Show All Music" is off. Then only actually downloaded music will be displayed. With it on, you can see all your music stored in the Cloud as well. That music will always be in the Cloud (until such time as you download it) but it isn't present on your device.

How can I delete pictures off my 80Gb?
I just got my replacement 80Gb and sync'd it last night with ALL my pictures. The are some pics I don't want on there and can't figure out how to delete them? Does anyone know how... ? Thank you.
Laptop Windows XPConnect the iPod, in the summary screen click on the "photos" tab.
Remove the check mark from "sync photos". You will then see this message.
Click "yes", then click "apply" (bottom right corner).
However this will remove all the photos on the iPod.
If you just want to delete selected ones, you can remove the photos from the folder with which they are synced.
