My iPad mini is getting full, so I'd like to delete the shows I've downloaded. Can I just delete the shows, or do I need to delete amazon prime, and then reinstall it?

The solution is:
1) Settings > Music > turn on "Show all music"
2) Open music app, and download all the songs that have the button next to it "cloud button".
3) After songs are download, swipe on the song you want to delete from right to left.
The download button will come back on, but ignore it.
4) Close music app.
5) Go back to settings, turn off "show all music"

You can swipe across the songs from right to left to bring up a red delete button. that will remove the songs from your iPad Music App. The will still appear in the purchased section of your account, but you can hide them from view if you care to do so, but you have to do it in iTunes on a computer.

Take it to whoever replaced the screen and see if they can help you.
iPhones are not user servicable and Apple does not sell iPhone parts at all. I'd be surprised if you were actually able to back it up at this point. It sounds like it's completely borked.

You can tap and hold down on the the TV show icon in the Videos app and an X will pop up to delete the shows.
You may also want to connect the iPad to your computer and transfer the purchases to iTunes before you delete them so that you can store them on your computer's iTunes. Connect the iPad and launch iTunes. Right click on the iPad name on the left side under "devices" and select Transfer Purchases. You can also do this from the iTunes menu - File>Transfer Purchases.
If you live in the U.S. the UK, Canada or Australia - you can download purchased TV shows again for free in the purchased tab of iTunes as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought the shows with.

If you delete them from photo stream they will also be deleted on your other devices. To keep them on your iPad, save them to the camera roll (open your my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Save to Camera Roll). To keep them on you Mac, go to iPhoto>Preferences>Photo Stream and check Automatic Import. You can confirm that they are saved in your iPhoto library by clicking on Photo Stream on the left sidebar of iPhoto, open your My photo Stream album, then control-click on your photos. If the pop-up says "Show in Library" they are safely stored in your iPhoto library. Then you can delete them from your phone and they will remain on your other devices.

The cloud icon means that the songs are only in the cloud, they aren't stored on your iPad. You can turn off the showing of songs that are in the cloud via Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under the 'show all' heading) 'off'. I was unable to delete a book sample from my iPhone 5s running iOS 7. This seems to be what worked for me. I went to the Library and clicked "edit" in upper right side of the screen. I then tapped one time on the book I wanted to remove and a blue check appeared at the bottom right corner of that book (presumably you could tap several at a time) Anyway, when the blue check is on the book, you will see in the upper left of the screen the word "Delete" (mine was in red) I clicked that and then a confirming dialog came up from the bottom of the screen with the choices of "delete" or "cancel". I chose "delete" and the book was gone. Hope this helps.

I have 1500 bookmarks that were transferred from Internet Explorer as favorites but they are now uncatagorised and unlabeled - how do I delete some of them or put them into groups?

I was using AOL 9 with Internet Explorer and saved 15oo Youtubes as "favorites". I changed to Firefox and upgraded to AOL 10 - my favorites now appear as bookmarks but they aren't arranged in groups (guitar, drums, blues, country, lessons...etc.) and there aren't names to identify them. Do I have to delete all of them and start afresh and if si - how do I delete some of them?
