How do I delete tv shows from my ipod?

I thought I was doing the right thing by after importing tv shows into itunes and finding that they showed up as movies by filling out the episode info etc. and changing them to tv shows. Well now I can't even find them in itunes. Where are they and how can I delete them or switch them back to movies so I can manage them in itunes? Help!
ps I have already tried to sync them to 1 unwatched and it doesn't seem to delete the rest. duh!

I use automatic sync, but only checked songs/podcasts. When I had a Classic 160, I synced everything, because I had the space. Either way, my podcasts would be removed from the iPod after I had listened to them, but I don't know if TV shows do that too. If not, you can always uncheck them in iTunes after you are done, and they will be off the iPod, but still in iTunes. You can also manually sync. Instructions for both are in the manual, which you can download here.
By the way, I haven't used my Nano 6th gen for TV, but I've heard it doesn't support video. I know that my video podcasts don't work. Are you using an older Nano?

What you do is this; the next time your ipod is jacked to the USB port on you computer and it shows under "Devices" in your Itunes library. click on that folder (your ipod) and it will have eight folders above the Ipod's state.

You can't hide it AFAIK on AppleTV - do it via iTunes.
In iTunes elect the store home page, and choose Purchases in teh QuickLinks on the right.
Choose TV Shows and hover over the one to hide and there should be a small x to hide it.
If you need it back go into your actual account settings in iTunes and choose to unhide there.

The best way to delete an app is to use iTunes and uncheck it before you sync with your touch. Using the method with the wiggly x on your touch will delete the icon from your touch, but according to the manual, "When you delete an application, its data is no longer accessible via the iPod touch user interface, but it isn’t erased from your iPod touch." So it still takes up room on your hd. When you delete by by unchecking in iTunes it completely removes the app and all associated data.
