How do i deleting many backup on one shot ? (Bulk deleting backup)

I looking for any method for removing old backup on one shot.
Anyone already done it ?

In the vsphere web client you can go to the restore tab and select multiple backups to delete within each client. So if you have multiple points in time for one client to delete its quick. If you want to delete multiple clients backups I'm not aware of a quick way.
You could script the delete using mccli but it would require some knowledge about how it works that is not documented by vmware and would not be for the faint of heart. I highly doubt mccli is fully supported by vmware so use at your own risk. Even if it was supported it would probably still be quicker to delete each backup in the the VDP webclient. Thinking way outside the box one possible work around would be to create a new VDP appliance and replicate the backups you want to save to it then delete the old appliance. Although you would probably have to recreate all your backup jobs on the new appliance so I doubt its what your looking for.

I am applying BDB to my embbeded system not rich in resource.
Some *.db files are called frequently.
But, Opening a *.db file [db_create(&dbp, NULL, 0) AND dbp->open] takes a long time in BDB
So, I loaded this functions onto a booting module to call opening functions just one time.
And all D/B handlers(?) are loaded in all run time
But, a D/B handler takes about 360Kbytes. And there are too many *.db files(10) where a table is
How can I treat many tables with one handler(?) ?

If you have the most efficient way to call openning functions just one time, please tell me

to use in-memory dbs? Otherwise is there a way for the application
to cache the DB handles and reduce the overhead associated with

So, just go to that directory select that 20 files and double click or hit enter it will open in one form builder session.
Note: You can not open from Form Builder.

How do you move many "Folders" from one Catalog to "one" other Catalog?

When I first start using LR, I did not know anything about catalog.
After 5000 photos, everything is in the Lightroom Catalog.Ircat (by the way, what does Ir stand for?)
Some photos are done in the office (work related for PowerPoint). Many others are done at home.
Now I have learned to export a folder (containing birthday photos) to a new catalog in my external USB drive and deleted the folder from the laptop HD, I have done another folder (containing party photos) to yet a new catalog in my external USB drive.
My question is: How do I set up one Home.Ircat in the USB HD and move all my Home related folders to the external drive leaving all my work related folders as it in the laptop? Then, when I want to see my home photos, I won't have to deal with relaunching new catalogs every time I want to see something. Do you understand what I am trying to accomplish? (exactly, my boss won't buy me a bigger HD for the laptop, sucks!)
I am sure this is very simple. Please help.

I can export folders into a new LR catalog, but if I export 10 folders, I ended up with 10 catalogs and each catalog contains only one (1) single folder.
What I like to do is to create a new catalog, such as Home.lrcat and move the folders over from Lightroom Catalog.lrcat so now one single Home.lrcat can contain 10 folders of home photos.
How do I do that?
Please help.

Your inner loop interates thru all of the elements of the left column and writes the second column with either the new string value if there is a match, or a "" if there is no match. This loop will step on the previous number every time.
Your simplest solution is by enclosing the two nodes Range.Value2 in a case statement and execute it only if the compare is true.
There is also a flaw in the inner loop auto indexing. There will always be only one value in that array. This inner loop serves no purpose and should be removed.

How do I send many photographs on one email

I would like to now if it is possible to send photographs via email on my iPad as well as lightening the size of the photos, much like one does on the windows system.

Resize, I don't think so. But to mail up to 5 at once, go toyour photos app. Open an album, I believe you tap on edit, choose the 5, then tap on share and mail. It'll open your default mail account and you can mail the photos out.
If you want to resize them then I don't believe the photos app will do that, however there are other apps that may have that function, so you'd resize them first, then do the mail.

How to save multiple new entries in one shot?

Hi,
I am working on a pretty complex Create form. So apart from the standard form fields to allow user to enter the data, one of the sections in this form is a table which allows user to create multiple entries for this entity. And when hitting the "Save" button in this form, it will save all the data plus the multiple entries defined in this table.
Is it possible to create multiple new entries in a table, and then save all of the new entries at the end? My experience so far is only create and save one new entry at a time.
Any sample?
Please advise.

Yes, I am using ADF BC.
Let me explain more in details of the scenario:
I have a table with "Create New" and "Save" button. The "Create New" button's ActionListener is set to "#{bindings.CreateInsert.execute}", and the "Save" button's ActionListener is set to "#{bindings.Commit.execute}".
When the "Create New" button is hit, a new row shows up in the table to allow entering data inline. When the "Save" button is hit, it got committed. I would like to allow user to create multiple rows before committing. But currently, after I hit "Create New" button, then enter data, then hit "Create New" button again without committing, it gives error.
Since this table is part of a form with other fields, I would like to save/commit it until everything in the form are completed, including creating multiple rows in the table.
Any ideas how to achieve this?
Any comments are appreciated.

@Parshwanath: So if you still want to close everything, it is possible from the hidden dock (double-click home button) to hold an icon until a _red_ 'X' appears next to each one, and then tap the 'X' to manually close it. You can't close them all at once, but you can quickly go down the row until you have them all. Of course you will have to once again open an app to have it appear in the hidden dock to be able to use 'fast app switching'.
This technique is only useful if you really need to reclaim whatever little bit of memory a sleeping app occupies while waiting to be called up. I don't remember where I found this tip - just that it came from a discussion on how to free up memory, which, given the management built into iOS4, I didn't think was necessary, but I did find it helpful in making an older game behave properly on the occasions it became obstreperous. FWIW - this is on an original iPad (OS4.3.3) and I don't know if the iPad2 is different - don't think so.

iTunes does not handle the import of photos/videos from the iPhone's Camera Roll.
If this is not the computer you sync your iPhone with, you should have been provided a warning message that your iPhone is associated with an iTunes library on another computer and when trying to transfer any iTunes content from a different computer, a warning message is provided indicating that all iTunes content on the iPhone will be erased first.
When connecting an iPhone to iTunes on another computer, none of the options under the various tabs for the iPhone sync preferences with iTunes are selected automatically. This means you had to select Sync Contacts under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes on your wife's computer.
Assuming you are syncing contacts with a supported address book app on your computer, connect your iPhone to Tunes on your computer and without syncing, under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences below the Advanced section, select Contacts for replace info on this iPhone followed by a sync.
For importing photos/videos from the Camera Roll which can be done with a computer that is not used for syncing the iPhone since syncing with iTunes is not involved.

In you mailbox you have an edit button up top on the right, click that and a button will show up next to each email, then you click the button on all the emails you want to delete.

Try this (assuming you're using iPhoto 12): make a temporary, duplicate copy of the library and try the three fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your Home/Library/Preferences folder.
delete iPhoto's cache files that are located in your Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
Fix #2
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed and follow the instructions to rebuild the library.
Select options #1, #2 and #6.
Fix #3
Rebuild the library using iPhoto Library Manager as follows:

Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.
