How do i dial international numbers... I get unknown number

I got a tmobile 8220 that I unlocked so that I can use in Chile vacation. I try to dial a number and it goes back to the placed calls menu and it says My number Unknown number. I am not sure if that is the real error or it just doesn´t know it´s own number. One time the phone tried to add my US area code to the number. So I was wondering if this is a phoen issue or if it´s a cell phone company issue. The number is 8 digits. x-xxx-xxxx (first x is the region code)

Dear Shashidhar,
Number assignment is derived from Document Type of the DIR. You can customise the Document type settings (DC10) to make the number range as External or Mixed.
Modify the settings in "Number Assgmt" tab as 2 for only external number assignement and 3 for mixed number assignment.

How to get extenal number for a notification

Hello All,
I want to get an external number for notification. I came to know there is FM GET_NUMBER_NEXT but i am unable to know how to use it?
Is there any other way to get this external number.
My requirement is i want to create a service notification.

This FM [GET_NUMBER_NEXT|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?query=get_number_next&cat=sdn_all] is usually called just before calling a Creation BAPI that require that the number be provided. (e.g. material data BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA)
As far as i know [BAPI_SERVNOT_CREATE|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=bapi_servnot_create&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] doesn't need this parameter if the Customizing (IMG) of the notification type is "internal number", The BAPI send the created number back in the [NOTIFHEADER_EXPORT|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=notifheader_export&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] exported parameter, field NOTIF_NO.
If your Customizing (IMG) is "external number", but your need a number, create a number range via [SNRO|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=snro&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue] and use GET_NUMBER_NEXT. (I suggest you to declare the type with internal numbering and assign the number range in the Customizing via [IW20|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/advancedsearch?cat=sdn_all&query=iw20&adv=false&sortby=cm_rnd_rankvalue])
If you use CALL TRANSACTION, use the option MESSAGES INTO itab and LOOP AT the message table to find the created notification number.

Do you possibly mean the contacts have been merged?
If so, where are each of you syncing contacts? A supported application on the computer? iCloud or another cloud service? An Exchange server?
WIthout details, it's difficult to offer specific resolutions.

A document you had open at the time you quit Numbers has a font that you do not have (probably Calibri). You can change the font to one you have OR close the file before you quit Numbers. Numbers will open files you had open when you quit.

What do you see after Menu > File > Print?
Are you using Numbers 2.3 (Numbers '09) or Numbers 3.1?
Please reply with a screen shot of a small part of your screen (large shots are often difficult to read).
To take a screen shot,
1. hold down the shift and command keys, then type 4. The cursor will change to crosshairs. Release the shift and command keys.
2. Drag over that part of your screen then release the mouse/trackpad. A screen shot will appear on your desktop.
3. In a reply to a message, click on the camera icon in the Toolbar above your reply and
4. Choose File > Choose > Insert Image.
If this does not work, Close the Insert Box (red cross on the top right) and go back to Step 3. Camera icon sometimes needs a wake-up call, but works the second time.
Remove any personal details before taking the screen shot.

The operating system may be the same but the Numbers applications are likely different. You need to get the apps in sync. Unfortunately, the Numbers (and Pages as well) saga is pretty confusing (and frustrating). Here's some info from the iWork resident version expert (PeterBreis0807):
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs.

I'm new to Blackberry products & just bought a 8330 curve. Unlike my other smartphones which had the option of a dial key pad, the Curve appears to have forgotten to include one. When a telephone number is spelled out with letters instead of digits, how do I dial it? For example: for my pharmacy refills I would dial 1-123-345-DRUG or when calling a company after hours and reach its automated answer system which prompts you to key-in the party that you are looking for their last 4 letters of their name. How do you do it. Help.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
You can enter the alpha chacratars using the alt shift for nummerics.
For example: 1-800-(alt-shift) -IFlYSWA
The same applys when you are asked for alpha characters as in your example
of search by person's name.

Hi, my uncle lives in europe and i would like to add his phone number to my contacts to chat with him on whatsapp or viber, but i dont know how to add an international contact to the contact list.

You need to save the number with the international dialling prefix then the country code, area code and then the phone number. For example my cell number is 0419 xxx xxx and I am in Australia. The leading zero is dropped. The iPhone selects the international code for your country automatically by using "+". So you could use +61419 xxx xxx if you wanted to call me. Australia's country code is 61. If it is a land line you are calling, number would be +617 xxxxxxxx.
My area code is 07 and once again drop the leading zero.

Yes, you always need to dial the number in the full international format including the country code then the area code followed by the number.
So for example, to dial a number in Manhattan, New York (different areas of New York have different area codes as we have), you enter it as +1 (the US country code) followed by the area code (Manhattan is either 212, 646 or 917) followed by the full number. To get a + sign press and hold down the 0 (zero) button for a few seconds. You don't drop any digits off US numbers when dialing them in the international format like you have to for UK numbers.
Example, dialing lets say the W New York Times Square hotel which is (212) 930 7400, you enter it as +1 212 930 7400

Jabber iPad can't dial internal/external, can't pick up calls

I've installed the COP file into my CUCM, setup my tablet and successfully authenticated however I'm running into two very odd problems.
1) If I dial my extension, Jabber for the iPad recognizes the call and asks me to pick up, however when I select answer, Jabber does not answer -- the buttons dissapear, and jabber rings for a moment or two more, and the calling phone then hears my voicemail.
2) I can get nothing but busy signal when dialing internally or externally.
My iPhone version of jabber, and my webex connect integration are working flawlessly.
Any ideas?

According to the description, I notice that Company A can't send email to Company B via Outlook.
How is the impact, one user or all users?
Please try to use OWA to send email to Company B from Company A.
If OWA can send email perfectly, it seems an issue on the Outlook client side.
1. Please run Outlook under safe mode to avoid AVs and add-ins for testing.
2. Please re-create profile to refresh the caches.
3. Please try to delete OAB files on local computer, the path of OAB folder in Win7, Win8 as below:
\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Offline Address Books
Then try to download OAB manually.
4. If all methods above don't work, please try to check whether OAB files generated, distributed correctly.
5. Any related Error/Warning/Information message will be helpful for the further troubleshooting.

Every time assigning data into temp table and delete may that may not be much efficient. You can check in loop logic how much time is taken. You can check the below code. here I am trying to check the numbers of plant for for one material.
In this logic material is the first field. So if there is option to make the required field in to the 1 st position then it will be nice.

International numbers not being caller IDed

Hi,
I travel a lot and therefor keep all my contacts with international numbers (ie +1 515 555 5555).
When any of them call I only get (515) 555 5555 without a name...
I read that I should keep double entries per phone number: 1 "regular" and 1 international, but I can't believe this is true for the iphone...
Any ideas?

You have two choices:
1. Save two copies of each number in your contacts...one with the +1 for dialing, and one without the +1 that the phone will recognize through caller ID.
2. (the better solution) Save your numbers in your contacts without the international prefix. Then, when you travel abroad, just turn on the International Dialing Assist feature in your phone settings. With this feature turned on, the international dialing prefix is added automatically when you select a number to dial.

How to NOT dial text in phone number with a note like "555-1212 John only"

I have some phone numbers that have text after them like "dont' call after 6". They were entered on Address Book on my desktop Mac. When I call these numbers from the contacts on the iPhone, it dials the letters also, which is annoying since they contintue beeping while the person has answered. Any suggestions on how to get the iPhone NOT to dial these parts of the number? Is there some magic character that makes it stop dialling? What does it do if the number is like 555-1212 x3434?

You may want to take the text out of the phone number field, otherwise the iPhone will assume it's part of the number you are dialing. You can add the "don't call after 6" message in the Notes field so that you can still see the reminder, but the iPhone does not continue to dial after the recipient has answered.
If you have a number that has an extension, you can set up the phone number to have pauses so that the extension can be auto-dialed when you select that phone number. Pauses are found under the "+*#" icon in the lower left-hand corner when you are adding a phone number to a contact. That will allow the iPhone to dial 555-1212, pause for a few seconds, and continue with 3434. You may have to experiment with the number of pauses needed to dial the number correctly.
