How do I disable airplay. I want my music to play on my macbook air and not apple TV but when I go into ITunes and click airplay icon, I choose computer but it still does not play on my computer! It plays on my TV.

I select the airplay button in ITune and clicked on computer and disabled appleTV....but it still play on TV.

turn off home sharing in ITUNES
Open Itunes ....its under File > home sharing

We won't know until you try the procedure. The reset will not affect the content of the iPod.

Have you tried deleting the songs from Settings?
Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage (not the iCloud link!) -> Music and then click Edit to enable you to be able to delete.

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

No other choice, you have to restore to use your iPad.

If your phone is showing the connect to the iTunes screen then you will need to reset it back to factory defaults. Prior to starting the update did you copy your purchases over to your computer's iTunes library and take a backup (either to iTunes or to the cloud) ? If you took a backup then you should be able to restore to that. If you didn't copy your purchases over then what you can redownload for free will show in the Purchased tabs in the iTunes, App Store and iBooks apps on your phone, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes.

iPhones that use the ARM chips (2g + 3g) are VERY slow to boot. Sometimes in excess of 1 minute 30 seconds (personal experiece). Assuming the device is not JB or has anything wanted on it, such as photos, do a DFU Restore. To cut it short, it basically forces itunes to give it the latest ios (4.something I think). I assume that you mean that the iTunes window closes. Quit iTunes, reboot your PC and try again. The iTunes software might be corrupt and it may require reinstalling iTunes on your computer.

When I click "unhide" in my hidden purchases list, it still does not show up

I hid all my TV show purchases to clean up my library by pressing the 'x' on the icon corners. I believe it would say "do you want to hide this from iCloud?" and clicked yes.
Now, when I go to my iTunes account > Hidden Purchases, my shows are all there. But when I click 'unhide' and then return to iTunes home > Purchased, nothing has shown up and I can't click on anything (Seasons, Episodes, Sort by bar are disabled).
Does anyone know where to retrieve these purchases? Maybe from iCloud itself?

I cannot print from firefox. I can print from open office. It seems to have something to do with when frames open because in IE, I can print a whole page, but when I try to use a print button embeded in a page or frame it does not work.

In Internet Explorer, I was able to print by pushing the print button, but when opening a frame, like in mapquest, the embedded print button brings up an options window that has print frames options in it, but when hit OK in this box, a second error box comes up with a yellow exclamation point and nothing prints. I have a feeling that it is the same problem with both browsers, but would prefer using firefox. Can you help with this?

Yes, I tried that.   The files were ordered by their original numbers as imported from the camera, but I batched them through Phocoshop to downsize all of them into a more manageable file size.   I opened that destination folder from quick time from where it said select image sequence.   I clicked on the first one and opened it.   The result was a large image with an arrow indicating a movie was ready to go.   When I pressed the arrow, though, I realized it had only imported that one frame so there was no movie.   The files are Jpgs and are about 450 KB each.
    To your knowledge are there any links to iMovie tutorials or quick time tutorials that may address this situation? Maybe there will be one I haven't looked at yet.
