How do i disable mobile view?
i want to know if it is possible to disable mobile view settings, and if it is, how to do it.
Install the Phony add-on. It will provide an option in the preferences called 'User Agent' set it to 'Desktop Firefox'

I disable the feature Mobile View on my site collection I can access the website with the standard view. However, If I try copy and past a link from some Document Library, the url gets redirect to the mobile view. Can some one give a suggestion how to fix

How did you mean ‘I disable the feature Mobile View on my site collection’ ? Whether you meaned that you disabled the feature at all sites in the site collection by OOB.
After disabling the feature at site level, please make sure mobile view is disabled at library or list level, you can do as Library/List Settings->Views->selecting the view that you used, on the Mobile section, unselect ‘Enable this view for mobile
access’ and ‘Make this view the default view for mobile access’. When you copy the URL of the library or list, please check whether the URL contains ‘…/mobile/viewa.aspx…’.
In addition, after disabling Mobile view feature, please clear the browsing history, then compare the result.

How do you disable mobile account settings/parental controls
My school had a one-to-one macbook program, but I switched schools. Now i have a heavily restricted computer. They had my account set to mobile and had parental controls enabled, so I used single user mode to create a new admin (remove /var/db/.applesetupdone and reboot) and remove them. However, even though no account has parental controls turned on, they are still enabled somewhere for all accounts, even admins. I have two questions: how do i disable mobile account settings, and where are the parental controls files located? I found some in /library/managed preferences/<account name here> , but editing these gives only temporary relief from parental controls, and they are reset when i restart. There has to be somewhere else that parental controls are flagged as on/set to sync on login. i removed the actual parental controls executables and stuff somewhere in /system but after that i couldnt open activity monitor and i didnt want to risk a reboot. please help me as this is very annoying. btw im on OS X 10.6.7

Try this..
Open System Preferences/MobileMe and select the Sync tab.
Deselect the box where you see: Synchronize with MobileMe. The last sync will noted at the bottom left side of the window.

I have a public facing o365 site with subsites. I want to disable the mobile view for this site and all its subsites. it looks like the mobile view is disabled for the root site but all the subsites have it turned on. can anyone help?

I use a very large IMAP account. So i disabled the offline viewing. Now, after upgrade to mavericks, i cannot find this option anymore!?
Might be a Safari extension ..
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall. -

On the windows phone , if you go to the internet explorer browser settings we can able to change the website preference from mobile version to desktop version .
Based on my knowledge we don't have the option to set those settings through owa mailbox policy.
Same time please try to open your owa account on some other mobile phones as well as you can change the browsers version to check the issue on the same device.
Please reply me if anything is unclear.

mail me backYou cannot selectively lock the address book app. If all contacts are sync'd online you can delete the account. However, the all around better approach would be to backup the device and do a security wipe before loaning it.

the rotate view tool and hand tool keeps rotating my canvas of its own acord. is there anyway to disable these tools since i have no need of them.

Go to Settings -> Safari -> Delete History, Cookies, and Cache
