How do I disable RoboHelp Starter?

I'm using RH8. It is experiencing significant latency for the simplest of tasks - typing, adding tables, formatting text, opening topics. I have not been able to figure out what is causing it. My project has a about 1,500 topics. However, I'm using the same project I used in RHX5, and I never experienced this problem. So...before I lose my sanity , I would like to disable RoboHelp Starter to see if that improves my response time. Anyone know how to accomplish that or have any other helpful suggestions?

It is not the starter but if you don't like that, just create shortcuts to RH's HTML exe file. You should have them on the Start menu anyway.
Opening topics is a known issue, there is one trick in Using RH8 on my site that may help. Works for some and not others.
The number of topics is not large. Is the project on your hard disk or a network drive? The latter is a big No No, always has been.
I have not seen others complain of the other speed issues. Are we you talking about RH8 HTML or for Word?

Open General preferences pane. Check the desireable options here:
When you shut down your computer a dialog will appear asking if you want to re-open applications at startup. Uncheck that option.

Hai, I developed a midlet and it invoke another midlet after i quit from the current midlet. second midlet invoked automatically after some seconds. I developed it by using the pushregistry.registerAlarm() method. I give the pushregistry permissions to the jad and signed application properly. But the problem is when invoke the second midlet it shows a remainder prompt ie("heading is Remainder: then time, in next line and midlet name then two commands Start and Exit) . how can i remove this prompt and executes automatically. in sony erricsson mobile phone it executes smoothly...it has no problem...

First of all, check that Messages is closed when you turn off your MacBook. This is so important because, by default, OS X will reopen all opened apps the next time you start your Mac.
Apart from that, when you go to  > Shut Down, or  > Restart, in the window you see to restart or turn off your MacBook, unmark "Reopen windows when logging back in". This will avoid that your Mac opens all opened apps the next time you start the MacBook, so Messages won't start automatically at startup

It keeps changing the browser window, some programs in one window, others in another. How do I get everything back on the same window? I want this disabled but not sure how to do it, or how I even got it started.

I'm not even sure what to call this or how it got started on my computer. There is one finder window for firefox, and another for other programs etc. I want them all back in the same finder window, please! What feature is this which got things split up, and how do I disable it?

The Get Info. fields show up gray if the files is locked and iTunes knows it can't edit the file. Make sure the files are not marked as read only and, if necessary grant both your account and system full access to all files and subfolders of your media folder.
You can set Part of a Compilation for multiple tracks from the Options tab of Get Info.

When I'm on an email FF stops me from linking to other pages/sites. Requires that I press Allow. This started recently. How do I disable this annoying feature?

When I am reading an email that I received and want to follow a link in that email, FF prevents me from doing so. It shows a new pane informing me that FF has prevented me from following the link. If I click the "Allow" button in the upper left-hand corner, I am then linked through.
This does not happen when I am on a particular website. In that case I have no trouble navigating the indicated links.
FF Preferences does not give me a way to disable this annoying feature that slows me down.
This problem started recently - possibly the last two weeks. It recurs whenever I use FF.
How can I disable this annoying "feature"?

It's a preference pane control that allows you to adjust the volume of the startup sound or disable it completely.

dated all the way back to 2012, I have decide to leave well enough along and not let the GUEST button bother me.
I rarely if ever take my Mac out of the house so I have not given much thought to theft or loss, but, in the event of it leaving my house by another way, the slim possibility of recovering it is worth the annoyance, I'll get over it.

Right-click on "My Computer", and choose Manage. Open the "Services and Applications" node on the tree structure on the left, double-click on "Services". Find the service called MAXDB:NSP Right-click on this and change the startup type to "Manual". Click "Apply", then "Ok". Then go to the service labeled as SAPNSP_00 and do the same thing, setting it to manual. That should be it. These services will then be starting only when starting the system via the MMC

Disable the VoiceOver option in Settings or from under the Summary tab for your iPod in iTunes.
Not entirely positive to how it happened in the first place.

I do NOT want firefox to load 200 MB EVERY time i start it JUST because it wants to load the last pages that were opened. How do I disable this?

I usually close firefox through the windows taskmanager with the "end process" command because it always becomes unresponsive sooner or later (i think due to website scripts that stop responding).
Anyway when i open it afterwards i have to wait like 1-2 min while it loads and loads and loads (150-250 MB ram) all the sites that were opened in the previous session. I do NOT want this i want to disable this horrible feature but currently that is not an option. Or is it ? How can I disable it?
I want my firefox to start up quickly without loading previous sessions no matter how it was closed.

im asking how to disable that not how to enable it ... in my "when firefox starts:" box ive chosen "show my home page" but it still loads stuff from last time because i've closed the program by ending the process in taskman. ... which i explained in the question but w/e thanks anyway
