How do I disable this softwares keyboard short cut?
Hello,
I seem to have to Force Quit Photoshop alot: Command-Option-Esc.
As well as having to lose work, I get the added bonus of this software fading into existence and taking over my screen. Nice and slow and taking it's time in leaving as well when I hit Escape.
I imagine the keyboard command for Force Quit is the same, to launch this software. How do I disable this?
Also, because I'm in an environment where User based control of the equipment I'm using is alien to IT, I can't simply throw it out.
Any suggestions appreciated.

The keyboard shortcut to open Front Row is command-esc. Command-option-esc is Force Quit.
You can un-check the option to use command-esc for Front Row in the Keyboard System Preferences under the "Keyboard Shortcuts" tab.

You can install it on your iOS device (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch) either by redownloading it directly on the device via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on it, or by connecting the device to your computer's iTunes and syncing it to it.

My sons iPhone is under my apple id. He completed a software update earlier and now receives my text messages I send and receive- how do I disable this feature??
This happens when you both use the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for pruchasing from the iTunes & App stores, but you should be using a different ID for iMessage. To fix this you have two choices:
On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID (so you are both using a different ID for iMessage); or
On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at". Also uncheck anyone else's phone number, if present. -

It is possible that anti-virus software is corrupting downloaded files or is interfering otherwise.
Try to disable the real-time (live) scanning of files in your anti-virus software temporarily to see if that makes downloading work.

I accidentally set up two accounts. One account with my old e-mail address which I've been using for years and has all of my purchases on it. Now I have a new account with my current e-mail address. Hello everyone,
I have been searching for sometime (without any success) for a solution to permanently remove this annoying message: "Press Esc to exit full screen."
Whenever I go to full screen mode, watching any video on YouTube, BBC, CNN (or many other websites which use Adobe Flash Player for streaming video) I have to bare seeing this message for several seconds until it fades away. Seeing this message once or twice would have been okay, but as we all watch many videos on a daily basis on internet, after weeks, months and now years seeing this message over and over again many times every day, it becomes very annoying, and I find myself rewinding many videos to their beginning after this message fades away to be able to watch it from the beginning without anything obstructing it!
Does anyone know how to "permanently" disable this message from appearing?
I am using the latest version of Safari 6.0 on the latest version of OS X (Mountain Lion 10.8.1), and have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (Plug-in version 11.4.402.265) installed on my new MacBook Pro 15" with Retina Display.

I am attaching a screenshot here for you to see that this setting was already set to what you suggested. I didn't need to change it as it was like this even before I post this message.
So the problem still presists and unfortunately your suggestion is not a solution to this probelm.
Last night I did more reseach and found a discussion in Adobe website, it seems a lot of other people have the same issue, and even started a discussion in Adobe website about it. But unfortunately Adobe refuses to address it and enable the end user at least to have an option to turn this message off from displaying permanently on his/her computer.

Hopefully more people will get involved and ultimately we will either get Adobe's attention, or someone will find a "hack" and post it here for all of us. Welcome to the Apple Community.
You could simply set each device to only use a single telephone number (settings > messages > send & receive, but this isn't really an ideal solution since the other person can always change their settings and see your messages and send messages that appear as if they are from you. There is only one real solution and that's to have your own accounts. -

You each need to have separate Apple IDs and separate user accounts. Better yet, separate computers as well.

Why does firefox zoom in when I open a new tab? How can I disable this?
Every time I right click on a link and select "Open link in a new tab" firefox zooms in. This happens also when I hold ctrl and click on a link. I know I can just zoom back out using ctrl - but this gets really annoying sometimes. How can I disable this?

I purchased the multi-user iworks (yes back when it was new, 2009 or 2010 and recently had to replace my white imac's hard drive (but didn't pay to fix the CD drive). My iworks does not have a serial number on the box and now that my CD drive isn't working how can I reinstall this software?
Buy or borrow an external USB optical drive.
See the confirmation email or covering letter to obtain the serial number. If you have lost it, contact the supplier. -
How do I disable "this connection is untrusted" I visit the same web site mutiple times in a day and every visit I get this same dam error, these are trusted sites within my work environment. As for exporting a known good certificate from another browser, sure good idea, but it doesn't seem to work. I tried exporting from IE, Firefox did the import without complaint, but it still complains. At any rate, I don't care about that. When I send e-mail messages with file by using a POP3 in Exchange 2010 I received delivered message with file. How I can disable this functions that file do not include to delivery message. I use Exchange 2010 only local users.
I think there is not native rule for this, but you could try a transport rule which removes all attachments over a very small file size like 1KB.

When I am reading an email that I received and want to follow a link in that email, FF prevents me from doing so. It shows a new pane informing me that FF has prevented me from following the link. If I click the "Allow" button in the upper left-hand corner, I am then linked through.
This does not happen when I am on a particular website. In that case I have no trouble navigating the indicated links.
FF Preferences does not give me a way to disable this annoying feature that slows me down.
This problem started recently - possibly the last two weeks. It recurs whenever I use FF.

Re-opening most recent files/web sites--how can i disable this?
when I close a window and then reopen it, or when i log out and then log back in, the most recent thing I was looking at from before immediately pops open. That is not necessarily the way I would like it to work--didn't do that with Snow L. How can I disable this?
In System Preferences > General > uncheck Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps.
Note that this preference affects all apps.
