How do I do a full reset on an HP 5514 all in one printer? The black ink is not printing and I have tried all of the 'fixes' I can find online. This printer is out of warranty and the full reset is my last attemp to get it working. Thanks!

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see you are running into some print quality issues on your HP Photosmart 5514, you are unable to print in black ink.
I see you have exhausted all the troubleshooting here: Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages, with no success.
Please note: There are three printhead cleaning stages. Complete all three stages if necessary. If the printhead is badly clogged, it might require another cleaning cycle. If so, wait 30 minutes after the last (third) cleaning stage to start the first stage of the cleaning process over again.
I suspect the issue may be the printer and not the cartridge. Please let me know which Country/Region you are in?

For the type of printer you have it would not be added this way, those are only for ePrinters. What you can do is go back to the main screen of the app. From here choose a photo or document. At this point just above the print button on the bottom there is a small icon of a printer with a wrench, touch on this. Then along the top there is an option to select a printer, touch this, it shouldpull up a list of printers it detects on the network.
The main reason for actually adding a printer is so that it will be there even when you are not at home, so that it can eprint. With other printers you do not need to add it, just simply select it when you go to print.

We have difficulty in using the printer for "photocopy" purposes. This is because our printer doesn't have "specific options" for paper sizes. When copying, the only option default in our printer was : A4 plain, A4 photo & 4 x 6.. Our question is, how can we have the "specific options" for paper sizes ( legal, letter, or A4 size )? Do we need to "restore to defaults" our printer? Can you give us a step-by-step instructions to deal with our problem? Thanks.

How do i remove the printhead on hp 1600xi all in one printer?

I keep getting the message remove and check cartridge on the display of my hp 1600xi all in one printer. I've replaced the ink cartridges. Turned it off, and on. Unplugged it, and plugged it back in. I still get that message. The only other thing that I can think of is to replace the printhead. Any suggestions on how to do this?

I see you are looking into printhead options. This particular model of printer has built-in printheads, making them non-removable.
I would recommend removing the cartridges and performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also suggest this document on Ink Smears or Streaks.

HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a: Scan & Copy in color results in full cyan page

Product Name: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a
OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit
I noticed the problem: After I scanned a medical card that was 80% cyan.
Problem: The problem persists when scanning/copying using the ADF or using the scanner glass bed.
Only occurs during color scanning or copying. I can print a file from my laptop or home pc with no issues, as long as the color file did NOT come from my printer.
If I had scanned the small O'Riley's note in black & white there would have been no streaking.
I have reset, used the HPP Dr., cleaned the glass, etc, & followed Solutions 1 - 3 http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c02881567&lc=en&product=4323659&tmp...

I see that you are having issues scanning and copying in color from the glass and the ADF. Thank you for providing the screen shot. I can help you out today.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Update the printer's firmware. HP Officejet Pro 8600 N911a Firmware.
Try scanning again to see if you have the same results.

Do you have the Officejet 4215 series All-in-One printer?
If so, then there is no full feature driver for the printer. The printer is installed using the Windows Update menu of the print drivers. For information about using the Windows Update driver click here.
Do you have this printer connected via USB? If so, then there are workaround methods to get the printer to scan, as the old software package is not available on Windows 8. In the document linked above, scroll down to the section on how to scan with the Update driver to find information on how to perform these types of scans. Hope this helps.

The following Assumes a Recent Windows Operating System is installed on your computer...
The Photosmart 7520 allows you select when you would like to receive Ink Alerts:
Right Away -- as soon as there is a need for attention
Only when you initiate a print job
The Full Feature Software installation procedure places the Printer Assistant shortcut on the Desktop.
Install Full Feature Software – Photosmart 7520
Open the Printer Assistant shortcut > tap on the Estimated Ink Levels icon (along the top ribbon) >
Toolbox opens > Select tab Advanced Settings >
Under Show Alerts > CHECK desired setting
Click Close

If you're using the Printer Pro app, you're not going to use AirPrint services.
They are not the same thing.
Are you using the 'Open In' option to get the email into Printer Pro for printing?

I have an HP 2710 all in one printer and set it up on wireless. I haven't been able to find out how to print emails from my Iphone 5 to the HP. It's an old printer from 2004 but it works well as from the first day I purchased it. I looked at various apps from the app store but I have no clue which app I need. I appreciate any help!

How to print to HP PSC1110 All-In-One Printer connected to WinXP PC?

Hello everybody,
I would like to us an HP PSC1110 "all-in-one" printer connected to a Windows PC in another room.
The easy part: The printer shows up in the browsing window, under the correct Windows domain, when I try to add an "other Printer" device.
The difficult part: When I try to select the printer model from the list of HP printer models provided, it does not show up, although HP PSC 1110 is included in the list of supported printers.
I also tried the ESP HP-deskjet drivers, both old and new version. But those result in printer errors on the Windows PC.
BTW: Printing over the net works well from other Windows PCs!
Can somebody out there who had a similar problem before give me a hint how to set up printing to an HP "all-in-one" over the Windows-Network?

Thank you for the detailed information. Maybe I should have added a few screenshots too.
The suggested procedure probably works for a HP Photosmart Printer. However, the PSC1110 is a "Printer, Scanner, Copier" all-in-one device. Unfortunately, this one does not show up in the menus, although it is supposed to be supported. I assume that only an USB backend is available, but no SMB backend.
Is this correct? Is there a workaround?

I recently upgraded to Mac OS 10.9 Mavericks, but now my HP Deskjet F4580 All in one printer will not scan any documents either as PDF or as JPG, how can we fix this?

I have simialr problems, after i scanned the ducuments or pictures, i can save it for only once, but the file is just black pictures with many lines through them. When i try to save it again, then it says ''An error has occurred saving the file because it could not be written to. Check the properties for the file to make sure it is not read-only.', which then doesn't allow me to do anything of saving the file or even just to print it out.
