How do i downgrade OS X 10.6.7
I am having serious conflicts with Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.4.3
From what I can tell the best way to solve this is to downgrade snow leopard 10.6.7
Can I do this if I have the original system disks?
And does this mean I will have to wipe the drive and reinstall everything?

If they are Snow Leopard install disks, yes.

No. Unless you actually choose Erase and Install, Snow Leopard replaces the system files. So when it is finished, you will be back to whatever version of SL is on your disks. All of your third party apps and other data will still be on the hard drive. After that, install the 10.6.6 Combo updater, and any others that may appear in Software Update except for the 10.6.7 delta updater.
And of course, make a full backup first in case something goes amiss.

You can trash Firefox 4.0 then re-install Firefox 3.6, it will use your existing bookmarks, passwords etc

Many of the buttons on the Site Flickr don't work in this version - How do is Downgrade Firefox to an earlier version so I can use flickr. -
The buttons work fine with the same account on other browsers. They worked fine in the earlier version. I trashed Firefox and reinstalled it - I installed Firefox 4.0 beta - both had no effect.
The buttons that don't work are the "action" buttons - the "share" button - the left and right arrow buttons on either side of the row of 5 preview pictures.

How can I downgrade to a previous version. I upgraded to 2.3 and now my site is totally hosed because the fonts on the master page are changing size arbitrarily without me touching them. I've had to eliminate my site map on the bottom of my master page because I've spent over 20 hours trying to correct the issue and can't seem to get anywhere. Even completely recreating the page doesn't correct the problem.
I was going to simply change a few photos from an older backup copy of the html files, but when I opened them with the 2.3 version, it changed all of the font sized on those files too.
I need my site working properly, so, how can I downgrade to the previous version and get my site working again until the bug is fixed?

No DV Capture with Premiere Elements 13? How do I downgrade to 12?
I have hours of footage to capture from a DV camcorder. I previously was using version 10 and was all excited when I received version 13 for Christmas. To my dismay when hooking up my camcorder via firewire, and opening the software, there was no option to capture DV. I have since learned that this feature was dropped in version 13. Who would of thought that you would lose features in an upgrade?? Does anyone know how I can downgrade my version 13 to version 12? I have looked at the work arounds and none of them are appealing to me.

HP doesn't recommend the installation of Windows 7 on a computer shipped with Windows 8, nor will it support the installation of Windows 7. HP will not provide Windows 7 drivers and suitable drivers may not be available for the hardware in the computer. Also, Windows 7 may not support some of the hardware or software features designed for the computer.
Make sure you create your HP Recovery Discs or USB Flash Recovery media before modifying or changing ANYTHING.
You will need to DISABLE "Secure Boot" and maybe ENABLE "Legacy Support" in the "BIOS Secure Boot cofiguration" on the settings page shown below before you can attempt to install Windows 7;
Additionally, as the hard drive is partitioned as GPT, you must boot the computer using the "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" in the "F9" boot menu. If "UEFI - CD/DVD drive" or something to that effect doesn't exist in the boot menu, please post a screen shot and/or descibe the listed boot options.
I suggest using a Windows 7 SP1 disc for the best intallation experience. If you need a Windows SP1, please see "How to Install Windows 7 Without the Disc" to download and create your own. If the DVD refuses to boot as UEFI, you may need to use a USB Flash drive (may require DISABLING "Fast Boot" in the BIOS) as the installation media. Please download the Windows 7 USB/DVD download tool to create a Windows 7 SP1 USB Flash drive.
Most of the Windows 7 drivers avalable on the HP Pavilion HPE h8-1360t CTO Desktop PC Drivers & Downloads page should work on the HP h8-1520t computer.
Please post the Windows Device Manager's "Hardware Ids", as shown below, if you have issues installing the proper drivers;

I just managed to downgrade from ITunes 10.5 to 10.4 w/o using Time Machine. Typically I have Time Machine backups, but I just downgraded from OS X Lion too, and was still trying to get my MacBook fine tuned again before doing a fresh backup again.
So it was a long shot, but here's what I tried and it worked perfect. It also might appear to be difficult, but as long as you can cut/paste and know a little about file folders, this won't take more than 5 minutes.
1. I removed the entire itunes folder from the "Music" folder and copied it to the desktop.
(Macintosh HD/users/<yourname>/Music/iTunes)
2. I downloaded iTunes 10.4 and did a fresh install. I restarted the application, which recreated the iTunes folder (and files) back in the "Music" folder. Then quit the application completely.
3. I went to the original iTunes folder that I copied to the desktop, and deleted the most recent file from the iTunes library. For the purpose of this illustration...I had several, but my latest was "iTunes Library 2011-08-16.itl".
(Desktop/iTunes/Previous iTunes Libraries/iTunes Library 2011-08-16.itl)
4. Now cut/paste the "original" file from desktop back into the iTunes folder you've just recreated. When it prompts you to overwrite the existing files, reply "YES" to all, and let the folder finish.
5. Your Done! Now open iTunes again...all your files and playlists, will be there.
The reason I downgraded, was the new iTunes 10.5, wouldn't collapse on my MacBook so I could see all playlists and detailed song info. It basically opened up "full screen", but only allowed me to scroll through song files, but not playlists, etc.
I hope this helps somebody...I was really struggling because of the size of my music library (24,000+), and really didn't want to begin with a fresh install, and recreating my playlists from scratch.

How can I Downgrade to Snow Leopard and keeping all 3rd party apps?
New to MacBookPro and really happy. With Lion...not so much. I want to downgrade to SL, however, apparently I must reformat the hard drive. Here´s the real question: If I have a backup of my entire HD with the user, docs and all the apps I have installed (on Lion), once I downgrade to Snow Leopard, can I just move all my apps from the back up disk I have made of my Lion-Running hard drive? In other words, How can I downgrade without having to reinstall every single third party app I have?
First, how new is this Mac? A Mac as a rule cannot boot to an older operating system version than that with which it was originally supplied. In other words, if this is a new MBP that came with Lion then you probably cannot get it to boot to SL.
Some applications (and I take it you do mean full "applications" rather than "apps" which are mobile device programs -- it helps to be clear o terminology) can just be dragged from place to place. Others, notably Adobe and Office, install things all over the place and unless you are good at finding hidden files with obscure names in 10 different places you will just have to re-install them. -

I downloaded Firefox 4.0 & installed it on my MacBook running OSX.4.11 but when I tried to run it I got an error saying it was not compatible with my version of OSX.
So if I can't open Firefox I lose all my bookmarks....

You would reinstall 10.6 using your installation DVD.
Out of curiosity, how much RAM do you have? Recent versions of OS X really shine with 4GB or more.
