I had a sinking feeling iOS7 was going to turn out badly... But still I foolishly updated my iPad 2. Now I feel like an idiot because of course it totally fubar'd my iPad not to mention when it does work it is an absolutely ATROCIOUS OS... My god... Apple really crapped the bed on this one... Please help.. I just want my iOS5 back.

Apple does not support iOS downgrades.There have been many people encouraging this but you should know that Apple views an attempt to downgrade the iOS as unauthorized tampering and will void the warranty and any future support for that device.

You can't and downgrading is not supported by Apple so you may have to sell your phone instead.

You first need to carefully check to make sure the outgoing mail servers address is entered correctly. Also make sure your user name and password are correct. Check with your email provider to find the correct settings.
If the settings are correct and you still cannot send Mail delete the mail account and set it up again.

I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

By upgrading the ios on my IPhone 4S I feel I have downgraded the experience. In addition to the useful google maps and YouTube, my phone performance has dropped. Battery life is lower, responsiveness is bad, safari gets stuck and overall a slow machine. To me it reminds of the old days when people would upload the latest windows on an old PC where the hardware didn't support the upgrade and your computer becomes less useful. But in that case you could at least revert unlike our nice apple people who don't give you the choice. I regret upgrading and the only reason was that I hate those red notifications on the icons that tell you there is an update. Now I feel this is more annoying than that.

I signed up for a yearly subscription around October 2013 for CC. But I've only learnt to use Photoshop and I never use the other programmes. I'm currently not working so I cannot afford the $49.99 a month subscription. I would like to downgrade my subscription/membership to Photoshop only, as $9.99 a month is within my budget. I have tried the Chat facility a few times, but I have never been successful in getting anyone online to talk to. The last time I tried, I was waiting online for over an hour and just kept getting the "thank you for your patience" message.
Please let me know if it's possible to downgrade to Photoshop only, and if so, how to go about it. Thank you!

Can I give you permission to override this and make the purchase of Photography CC on my behalf, and cancel my CC membership? If not, please advise how I can change my subscription, as I can't find a way to get around my existing subscription. If I cancelled it, I'd get charged 50% of the remainder of my yearly subscription, and you've already said there won't be any penalty. Thanks!

How can I downgrade to ios4 from ios5? I have a new ipone 4 and allowed itunes to upgrade my to ios5, but it is not yet supported by my email server at work. So i must revert back to ios4. Can someone step me through it?
I dont care if I loose data, there isnt much on the phone, I just want to restore it to when it came from the store!

so this is really a bummer. The camera is horrible on the ios5 and on ios4 the camera was perfect. I sure wish there was a way and WHY doesnt APPLE notice when things arent good and give us a upgrade fixing it ? They upgraded for the people having trouble with battery life which didnt bother me as much as the horrible indoor photos. Anyway, thanks for letting us know that IT DOES NOT work to restore your phone, because i was on the verge of doing it and getting the phone back with apps and emails and all that would be horrible to find out afterwards that i did it for nothing
