How do i download a dictionary to help with spelling/typing on firefox pages?
When I'm writing emails etc. on other computers, a red line appears underneath incorrect spellings (a bit like when using Microsoft Word).
On my computer no such thing happens. When I click the 'Check Spelling' button on my hotmail screen, it tells me to download a dictionary from Firefox.
I've got no idea how to do this, and the help page doesn't have any instructions either.

Spelling checker is builtin to Firefox.
Firefox has by default not included single line form/text box, but you can change that.
I would suggest that you do not install the extension listed on the MozillaZine page in the first reference, because it is not necessary: My page is better because it has instructions, and single row and multi-row text boxes, and a search form that you can test with. I also include how to make the wavy line easier to see.

If the thief enabled activation lock on the device, then there is nothing that can be done. Only the password for the Apple ID that it is locked with can disable activation lock.

This is probably a new precaution that Apple has taken to alert folks that something has occurred with their account that has not occurred before*, namely a Mac has downloaded something from their account that has not done so before. And as the notice says, if it was you doing so, then you may safely ignore the notice. Also, do not be alarmed, Apple refers to all downloads as purchases, even when they are free.
But if you are truly concerned about the notice then you can authorize the Mac with your iTunes account, which should be the same as your MAS account. Open iTunes on the older Mac and sign into your account. Then in the Store menu choose Authorize This Computer. Now this Mac is definitely associated with your account and can now play media that you purchase from the iTunes Store as well.
*My banks do the same thing when I pop up making a purchase with my bank cards somewhere in the world I have never made a purchase before. They call me and email me and want to know if it is indeed me using the card. -

If the PDF is an email attachment, you can view it by tapping on the attachment icon while you are viewing the email message. Another option is to set up a dropbox account and then use a computer to drop the PDF into your account. Install the iOS dropbox app and you can view PDFs there that way.

I have been sent a link in order to download a program which has been sent to me in a possibly corrupt form. The link opens as a directory viewer, from which I can open sub-directories. But how can I download these files?
Just a guess, but is it possible that the link opened a ZIP archive and Firefox downloaded and launched it from a temp folder? In that case, you might be able to drag and drop or use the Extract command to move the desired files to a more convenient location.
On the other hand, if you are still viewing the files on the web server and there are no hyperlinks or buttons associated with the individual files, you may need to check with the person who sent you the link. -

iCloud is a different set of features from iTunes in the Cloud.
To download your copy of the album go to iTunes Store > Quick Links > Purchased > Music > Not in my library. You should find the album there. Click the cloud symbol to download.

I searched Purchased,Available iTunes Downloads,but I just can't find it.

a slideshow. I want to code the page so that if the viewer doesn't
have Flashplayer, an alternative jpeg comes up in the masthead

User dictionary how to use?
1. I have typed all the words in the Oxford hyphenation dictionary and saved text file.
2. I have created new dictionary in the preference file.
3. i have imported all the typed words in the created dictionary file.
4. I have faced the problem. User dictionary is not supporting properly. Can i disable the System dictionary.
5. Most of the words are hyphenating by system dictionary only
Can any one help me out. how to handle this.One thread is sufficient, please. If noone responds it means they don't have an answer for you.
