How do I download a full version of Firefox to intall offline on a computer that has only dialup internet access

I need to download the full version of Firefox files to be copied to a flash or other drive then installed on a machine which only has dial up internet access. The dial up takes too long to download the files necessary for the installation.

For anyone trying to download the latest version of the full Firefox installer, go to this link where you can choose your language and version and can download the offline installation file:
If that doesn't work for you (non-US downloads), on the download page beneath the green box that says: ''Firefox Free Download'', click on the link that says: "Systems and Languages" - this should take you to the appropriate page.
Good luck...

  • I can not download the new version of Firefox. I keep getting a message that says "Firefox 5.0.1dmg could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred" HOW do I fix this?

Every time I try to download the new version it just says I can not download the new version of Firefox. I keep getting a message that says "Firefox 5.0.1dmg could not be opened, because an unknown error occurred - Try saving to disk first and then opening the file"

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

  • How do I download an earlier version of firefox, compatible with my older operating system: MAC OSx 10.5.8?

I need to put firefox on my mac powerbook G4.
How do I download a compatible version please?

Older versions are available here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/

  • Firefox version 4 does not work with Mac OS 10.4.11. Is there a fix for this? Alternatively, how do I download an older version of Firefox that will work?

I have a an older IMAC as a second computer. I replaced an older version of Firefox with the new update. I had to do this because Firefox gave me a message that the older version would no longer work. The new version 4.0 will not open even after it is put in the applications folder. I get a message that says this version is not compatible with my Operating system. I don't want to change the OS at the moment.
Can anyone help? I'd like to just download an older version of Firefox if that is the only way to make this work, but I can't find an older version on the website.
    Thanks very much.

  • How do I download Acrobat Full Version?

SO here I am, running too much javascript in the rich editor on adobe forums.
All I wanted was a frickin download link for Adobe Acrobat.
Nope, I have to download the adobe download manager.
    OK, done.
Now I have to install acrobat, but Adobe says I must update my password.
    OK. Did that.

I want a download link for acrobat. Along with the last hour of my life back. TIA.

Finally got through n Safari 7.0.1 and now I see:
Download a free trial of Photoshop Lightroom 5
    Please correct the following:
The download process requires JavaScript to be enabled. Please enable JavaScript in your browser, then refresh the page.
I clicked on the link from Pat's page to get Adobe Acrobat XI, not Lightroom 5!
And I do have JavaScript enabled in Safari. That shouldn't matter, as it just throws up an a11y barrier, but for Adobe, they want to slow everything down with a bunch of javascript to have me download Photoshop Lightroom 5.
I want to convert a PDF to HTML. And that is for unpaid research. Ena and I are taking apart the Monsanto's bought-and-paid-for research, performed by Monsanto employees, using Monsanto testing facility, and published through Elsevier, which has been caught by Merck for falsifying an entire review board.
I tried many other PDF to HTML converters, but they couldn't convert tables properly. Mozilla's own pdf.js failed there, too.
We want to shed light on this research for the general public, which is only ever given dumbed-down, superficial PR. And it is my idea to do this using HTML. Nobody else I know can or will accomplish this. It must get done and I must do it.
Please help me obtain a copy of Adobe Acrobat. Version ten would be just fine for my needs; this is a 2004 study, so probably and old PDF.
    Thanks.

  • I have MACOSX 10.5.8 and Firefox says I do not have the latest software. Even if I don't , Im currently using Firefox 3.5.4 and would like a newer version. Basically how do I download the latest version of Firefox for my computer? Thanks

I am using a PowerBook and have recently upgraded to 10.5.8 and would like to get the latest version of Firefox I can. However, FF's home page says 'unfortunately the latest version of FF is not compatible'. But when I look at the requirements it seems that mine should fit. Basically, what is the latest version of FF I can get and how do I find it to download.
    Thanks

Right now I am trying to reinstall Firefox which was somehow deleted and I keep getting the message that I can not use the new version I have downloaded. I have a power PC G5 and Mac OSX10.5.8. This is frustrating. What do I do?

Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

  • How do I download the previous version of Firefox (3) as my system won't support Firefox 4 (can't find the older versions archives anywhere on your site).

I already had Firefox version 2 on my mac (OS 10.4) and tried to upgrade to version 4. Couldn't find any details on system requirements, so just went ahead and tried to download latest version. By the time the process informed me that it wouldn't work on my system, the old version 2 had somehow been deleted. Now I have no Firefox browser at all and cannot find any older versions archived.

I think you can run version 3.6:
