How do I download a newer itunes?
I'm running OS 10.4.11 and currently have iTunes version 9.0.2 installed. I got an Ipod Touch witch requires Itunes 10.3 witch doesn't seem to work on the mac Os x i have. What can I do? thank you

You can directly download 10.5.2 from Apple from here. And if that doesn't work (it didn't when I just tried it -- something wrong with the apple itunes site I assume) download it through macupdate from here. -

When plug my iphone into my laptop and load up itunes a dialog box appears saying I need to download a new version of itunes onto my iphone. I have no idea where to find this download and I have not received any prompt on my iphone to say itunes needs updated.
Any help would be appreciated!!You update the itunes version on your computer not your phone. You should not have gotten a massage to update on your phone as that iTunes version is built into the current iOS version for the phone.

Hey so i have a version of a mac i think it is kinda old, it is the all white one i got it like 4 years ago maybe. I got a new ipod recently and i cannot downloade any music onto it. this is because i tried to download the new itunes which it said i needed and now when i try to install it. It says i need a new software so i try to download that and is says i need the mac app or something. but it says i need the new software to get that. so i went onto itunes and clicked the apple and pressed new software and it goes onto this little thing that says my internet is alright but my server has not been connecting. My computer is connected to my school and they updated the server thing and now it wont connect, so i can't win. how do i fix this and download everything i neew?
First things first: Pull down the Apple Menu and select "about this Mac" and tell us what version of OS X is currently on your computer.

- Or redownload them by:

- Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of those discussed here:

- Connect the iPod to your compute and make a backup by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not included synced media like apps and music. -

Itunes was deleted? Or your itunes library was deleted?
If it was just itunes, then your music should still be there. Just reinstall itunes.
Otherwise just use your backup copy of your comuter to put everything back. -
