How do I download a previous version of firefox?

I am unable to edit my website hosted by ATT. Their tech support tells me that is not compatible with Firefox 4. and that I should download & install a previous version.

You appear to be using Firefox 3.6.23, which is the earliest secure and supported version of firefox. You may not have up to date plugins, use http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/ to check and update your plugins.
It can not be recommended that you try any earlier unsupported and insecure versions of firefox, that would put your computer and the personal data it contains at risk.
After you have updated post back, if you have problems with a publicly accessible site pleas provide a link, and explain what the problem is. (It is probably worth checking any forums or faqs relating to problematic sites)

    How do I download a previous version of firefox for mac osx 10.5.8 (leopard)?

    Beginning with Firefox 4, Macs must have an Intel x86 processor (which you do NOT have; yours is a PPC Mac) '''''<u>and</u>''''' OSX 10.5 or higher

    '''''The good news''''' is that Firefox 3.6.24 still supports OSX 10.4 and Macs with the PPC Mac architecture. '''''The bad news''''' is that support for the Firefox 3.6.x series is likely to end in the first quarter of 2012.

    You can try the third-party product '''''TenFourFox''''' that supports PPC Macs. Firefox 8 version of '''''TenFourFox''''' is available. The product is based on Firefox released versions. All support is provided by the developer, not by this site:

  • How can I download a previous version of firefox? for mac

    I am a gov employee and only the older versions of firefox are compatible with our fedtraveler website. They list we must use firefox 3.0, 3.5, 3.6, 4.o, 5.0, 6.0, or 7.0 (for Mac osx Lion) only. The latest version 9.0 either does not work or is blocked for security reasons. I cannot find any of the older versions to download. Need help

    Hey Marco99,
    Sorry to hear about this limitation. There are a lot of benefits to running the latest version of Firefox.
    If you want to roll back to a previous version of Firefox, just take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[Installing a previous version of Firefox]].
    Hopefully this helps!

  • How do I download the previous version of Firefox (3) as my system won't support Firefox 4 (can't find the older versions archives anywhere on your site).

    I already had Firefox version 2 on my mac (OS 10.4) and tried to upgrade to version 4. Couldn't find any details on system requirements, so just went ahead and tried to download latest version. By the time the process informed me that it wouldn't work on my system, the old version 2 had somehow been deleted. Now I have no Firefox browser at all and cannot find any older versions archived.

    I think you can run version 3.6:
    http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all-older
    I just read today about a separately maintained, unofficial version of Firefox for 10.4 users called TenFourFox. They are somehow repackaging the latest Firefox to work on 10.4 (''on non-Intel Macs''). You might want to research it and see whether it makes sense for you: http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/

  • How do I download a previous version of firefox. This website sends me to a page where I get the current one I'm using.

    I can't connect to a different page from website links. I tried this on pogo.com and they recommend using an older version of firefox which I can't seem to get. The same thing happened on sparkpeople.com.

    After upgrading to firefox 8, I can't use many of the functions on my schools website like opening the textbook and sending emails. I spoke the school's tech. support & they informed me that my version of firefox was not compatible with their system. So, how do I install a previous version of firefox (firefox 6 to be exact)?

    You can download Firefox 6.0.2 for Mac OS X 10.5 from ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/6.0.2/
    Backup your '''Profiles''' folder before new installation.
    edit: replaced random third-party download site link.

    P.S. Firefox 17.0.1 is supposed to be released Friday ([https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/Planning/2012-11-28#Current_Releases ref.]) so you should start checking for updates tomorrow by going to the Firefox Help menu and clicking on "About Firefox". See [[Update Firefox to the latest version]] for more information.

  • Where to download a previous version of firefox?

    I want to go back to Firefox 3.6.3 (last version that worked for me!), but cannot find where to download it from?
    Firefox needs to make previous version downloads easily available, if they want users to try their iffy upgrades!
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
    == With FF 3.6.6 upgrade, from FF 3.6.3 ==
    == User Agent ==
    Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.1; Trident/4.0; GTB6.5; SLCC2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; Media Center PC 6.0; .NET4.0C)

    I downloaded Firefox 4.0 and it works only for a few seconds then all I get is ding, ding, ding, I have to use task manager to close the browser. I need to know where to download that previous version of Firefox so that I can get to my email.

  • How do I download a previous version of Safari?

    And also, how do I change my email address?

    You don't download a previous version of Safari, run Software Update and accept all the updates (if any) for your system. You would change your email address by contacting your ISP.

  • I want to download a previous version of firefox

    I am visually impaired and downloaded 4.0 yesterday and it keeps crashing at startup so I'm guessing it's not working with my screenreader. I'm using Windows XP home edition. Version 3.616 worked great on this computer and I do have that version on my laptop but I don't have the .exe file so I'm not sure if I can get it to my desktop. How can I go back to the previous version of Firefox or how can I fix this crash problem?

    cmiller, there is a version of SiteLauncher for Firefox 4 available from the developers home page - http://www.donesmart.com/sitelauncher

  • How do I restore the previous version of firefox

    My version of firefox has automatically upgraded to the latest version (couldn't even tell you which that is because I don't know where to find the about firefox info), and I don't like the user interface. I don't have the time to get to grips with a whole new way of working and am perfectly happy with the older interface as I knew where everything was. How do I revert back to the previous version? (As a suggestion, perhaps it would be better to ask people if they want to upgrade or at least give them the option of rejecting the upgrade after trying it, instead of making wholesale enforced permanent upgrades!)

    Using the older version of firefox is not recommended.
    Try the classic theme Restore for Classic firefox Menu's
