I need a version of Photshop that is compatable with windows Vista this is the message that pops up You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms.
I believe CS6 will run on vista but your Display Adapter GPU may no be supported. So features the require a GPU like 3d will not be available. Older version of Photoshop are no longer marketed so you would need to find an old retail version to get a licence. Downloads will only work as a trial for 30 Days. You also need to be careful when buying old outdated software. There are many selling software that is not legal copies of Adobe software be warned.

I have a an older IMAC as a second computer. I replaced an older version of Firefox with the new update. I had to do this because Firefox gave me a message that the older version would no longer work. The new version 4.0 will not open even after it is put in the applications folder. I get a message that says this version is not compatible with my Operating system. I don't want to change the OS at the moment.
Can anyone help? I'd like to just download an older version of Firefox if that is the only way to make this work, but I can't find an older version on the website.

I'm not sure I properly asked my question. I have a need to post a resume to an employer who requires that the information be submitted via Internet Explorer. My OSX vs 10.4.11 will not accept downloads of the current IE version and Microsoft no longer supports any earlier versions that would work with my Mac. A web search shows thousands of download possibilties, but I am leery of what kind of schmutz might come with them. Has anyone in the community have any recent experience with a secure Internet Explorer download

have read the 'help' given for this question from another ipad owner --which was to download the current version and then might be able to get a compatable version --- but the new version will not download -- just tells me I have to upgrade to version 6 which is not possible on the 1st generation ipad! I cannot understand why the older versions of ibooks and Kindle are not avilable for those of us who cannot afford to buy the new ipads. Please can anyone help?!!!!

I had firefox on my computer and it made me download the newer version, but once I downloaded it, it said it does not work on my computer which is a Mac OS 10.4 and now I cannot use firefox at all on my computer. How do I download an older version that will work on my computer?
As of Firefox 4.0 and newer one needs at least OSX 10.5+ and Intel hardware.
The latest you can use on your Intel with OSX 10.4.11 is Firefox 3.6.25 (released recently) which can be found at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all-older.html
If you were to update to say OSX 10.5.8 then you can use Firefox 9.0.1 -

What is the latest version of Firefox that will work with Windows ME?
We were recently given an older Gateway laptop that we intend to use solely as an internet terminal. Alas, it is running Windows ME and I don't even know if it has all the specs to upgrade (and certainly not to Vista, which is the only thing we have an install disk for). It currently has Firefox 2.0.0.20, which of course contains numerous security vulnerabilities and is incompatible with most newer plugins. What is the best version of Firefox that will work with Windows ME, and is it still available for download? Thanks!

I have downloaded the new iTunes 10.7 on my computer with windows vista on it. Now every time I try to run a video it shuts off iTunes. Is anyone else having this problem? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice. Is there a fix? Is it possible I am missing part of the program?

Thanks! The procedure worked great for me (using iTunes 10), however there was one caveat. I also had to edit “AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi” with Orca and change the entry in “LaunchCondition” from
VersionNT64>=600
to
VersionNT64>=501
in order for the Device Manager driver update procedure to work, and iTunes to recognize my iPhone4. Prior to doing this, only “digital still camera” was displayed in the “imaging” entry in Device Manger. Once I did the above, “Apple Mobile Device USB Driver” was listed, and the procedure worked as written. -
ever since I downloaded the newest version of Firefox, my Dragon NaturallySpeaking hasn't been working very well. For example, I will say "click register" or "click contact us" to select links and buttons on websites. Before this worked fine, but now it hardly works at all, which makes me think that because I am using a Dragon NaturallySpeaking program from 2007 or 2008, that it just doesn't know how to handle a program like Mozilla Firefox six that was written after its time.
