How do I download Beta 12 on all of my network computers?

I have several computers on my home network system, plus a laptop that is not on the system. I also have a desktop and a laptop on another terminal, at "[email protected]". How do I update all computers to play the new Beta 12?

IMO, wait for the 4.0RC version, which is expected to be released any day now.

I really appreciate all your help. Today I spent some time on the problem. First I purchased any video converter from the ap store and then I connected the camera to the mac with the original usb cable that came with the camera. I turned on the camera and selected backup on pc and the logo came up on my home page. I opened it and after several attempts i found the 3 video files that were on the camera. I then converted them from a tod file to mp4 and then transfered them to imovie. Now I have to figure out how to send the video to youtube or move it to an external hard drive which I have not been able to do. So far I am not too fond of imovie 11. If you could send me the download for imovie 6 I then could try that route. When talking to apple support yesterday about the problem they suggested to get Final Cut Express. You don't. The iPhone can only sync media with ONE computer. If you try to sync with another, it will first erase media already on it.

I am a new user and evertytime I download music, what was on the i pod disappears!

If you have your iPod set to update automatically, then it will make your iPod a mirror image of your iTunes library - when you delete a song or album from your iTunes library, it will remove that song or album from the iPod the next time you sync.
If you want to have a different set of music on your iPod than what's in your iTunes library, then you need to set your iPod to update manually. This will allow you to control your iPod and iTunes library independantly.
A word of warning though; it is important to keep a copy of your music backed up somewhere other than your iPod. If your iPod has a problem later and needs to be restored, any music on it that is not backed up elsewhere will be lost.

How do I get better speeds on my home wifi network?

Setup includes; Comcast cable modem, Airport Extreme, Macbook running 10.8.2, AppleTV3, 2 iPhone 4Ss, and 1 iPad 1.
At this point, When I do a speedtest on Comcast's page I get 20 to 25 mbps, but via Speedtest app on iPhone I get only 3 to 5mbps. I have read and tried a few things like changing DNS to OpenDNs and such, but nothing makes much difference. Am I misunderstanding the rlationship between these numbers? Is the Airport Extreme only capable of under 5mbps, or is it the iPhone? Is there a better way to test?

Typically, the iPhone is quite slow, likely due to the very limited available space for an antenna in the device.

You can check the capability of your AirPort Extreme's current wireless connection with the Mac as follows:
Hold down the option key on your Mac while you click on the fan shaped AirPort icon at the top of the screen.
Look for the Transmit Rate. That is the current capability in Mbps of your wireless network connection.

How do I video chat with iSight directly between two networked computers

Well, the title kinda says it all. My two neices just got Macbooks, and they aren't allowed to go onto the net with them, but I figured they'd have fun doing video chats from across the room or whatever.
Is this possible? Can you do it without going through AIM or .Mac?

You can conncet via your local lan using Bonjour. You can activate Bonjour in iChat by navigating to: iChat>Preferences>Accounts>Bonjour>Use Bonjour then log into Bonjour.
Please note, you may need to open up the proper ports in your firewall to make this work.

How do I download and immediately delete all original photos from iCloud photos? This way, I have a local copy of all my iPhone photos, and my iPhone and iCloud space will be reset and empty.
Using the online iCloud web app, you can only select one photo at a time. There is no select all or download all. And when you try to select one by one multiple photos and download, it opens a download "save-as" window for each one! Not one download window for all the selected. So if you select one hundred photos, one hundred download "save-as" windows will pop up, and you have to click the save button one hundred times.
Using my Windows 7 PC, the iCloud app doesn't have iCloud photo sync, only the Photo Stream photos, which is separate.
After researching online, they said the Apple OS X Yosemite Photos app could do this. So I tried my wife's MacBook Pro, and there is a iCloud photo sync, BUT, it tries to merge with her local photos. My 20 GB iCloud is full with my iPhone pictures, and her local photo library is about 50 GB. So it doesn't not even merge or allow the iCloud photo sync to turn on without buying more storage! The Apple OS X Yosemite Photos app doesn't even have a download only feature, OR access the iCloud like a folder to drag and drop photos or like an FTP. WHAT THE?!?!
So there IS ABSOLUTELY NO OPTION SO FAR to download and remove immediately all photos in the iCloud photo storage with ANY device, unless maybe I delete all my wife's photos on her MacBook Pro, which is not an option. Or select one by one thousands of photos on the online web app.
Am I missing something? or is Apple not so user friendly as they seem to be?

The thing I hate about iTunes Match is that if I don't have access to WiFi or Cellular then I have NO ACCESS to my music. Since I travel often and am frequently in situations where there is no Wifi/Cellular (or it's to expensive when in another country) I'm left with no options.
My question is - How do I download my ENTIRE ITunes Library to both my computers, iphone and ipads?
I can't image clicking the "download icon" on 50,000 songs... is there a workaround for this?

First, are you positive it is really not there? Have you looked in your iTunes folder in your Music folder, and in the media folders there? Do you see your media files?
If your media are gone it is a lot easier to restore from a proper computer backup. Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases which can be transferred to a computer.

Sorry... But... You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country...
