Drivers? You need a program to run them such as K-Jams. Then you will need to check your connections from the laptop to the monitor and make sure your settings are correct in System Preferences.

  • How do I download 32bit Drivers for Windows 7 on Bootcamp for OSX 10.8.1?

    Here is the deal,
I am a computer technician for a library and I am installing Windows 7 on four brand new Apple MiniMacs with OSX 10.8.1 on them (don't ask). The Mac came with no install Disks and the Bootcamp Assistant only downloads 64bit drivers for windows. I am installing Windows 7 32bit on them and I need the drivers. How can I get them? Can somebody assist me please?

Buy a Windows machine or an older Mac if you wish to use 32bit Windows. (what are you going to do when MS quit supporting 32bit systems?)

  • How do I install bootcamp drivers windows 8 (mainly trackpad)

I installed windows 8 conumer preview using bootcamp.  I download the drivers to my flash drive, but when i try to install them it says I need a computer running windows 7.  I tried running in compatibility mode the way many people say to for installing on windows 8 but that did not work.  I also tried to install all the drivers i needed indevidually and that worked, but there is one problem.  I can only left click on the trackpad and I connot two finger scroll.
If anybody could help me either get the drivers to fully install or simply get right click and scrolling to work it would be awsome!
If it makes a difference i am running snow lepered on my mac partition om my macbook pro 15 inch 8,2 from mid 2011 (the first quad core one).

When you are on Lion, yes and if you have any 2011 model, definitely. mid-2011 was about where Lion was about to come out. And the old drivers just do not do a good job on those systems.
I'd even buy Lion and just put it on an external drive. If you want then use Setup Assistant to make it currrent with your settings, and clone it back to where SL was (might want to clone SL if you need it though and don't need or can't use Lion for some reason).
Someone else was unable to see Troubleshoot via control-click and I took a screen shot to show that "64.mi" does normally have options for how to run from Properties while theirs lacked that. Which seems to me like an issue with Windows installed on their system and not elsewhere.
You did a clean install of 8-CP too?

  • How to install w7 bootcamp drivers without nvidia drivers

My early 2011 macbook pro 15" has an AMD graphics card, and after a fresh install of windows 7 64, the bootcamp installation CD contained nvidia drivers. This of course was a problem, but i left it for an hour anyways without any success. Now, im trying to find a way to install everything else besides the nvidia graphics drivers. Silly me threw out the bootcamp CD that came with my macbook pro originally, which I think was able to install bootcamp fine the first time. So maybe there are older bootcamp drivers available for an early 2011 mbp?
    Thanks for the help.

Your signature states "Mac OS X 10.7.2" which is OSX Lion.
If correct you can use the BootCamp Assistant in OSx to download the "Windows Support Software" which is the BootCamp Drivers.
Read the Boot Camp - Installation & Setup Guide (OS X Lion) on how-to do it.

  • Cannot Download Bootcamp drivers on iMac, will MacBook Pro work?

I have to install Win 7 x32 and x64 on iMacs with bad  (almost ZERO) internet access. I tried downloading the Windows Support files for Bootcamp drivers, but it wouldn't download. I have a MacBook Pro and a MacPro (2007) i can use (both running Lion) is there a direct download maybe? None of the BootCamp Updates I have found have worked.
    Thanks so much,
    Scott

you can use your 10.6.x DVD for your Mac Pro.
There is no direct 3.04 installer, that is needed to be installed first.

You probably want Boot Camp Support Software 5.1.5640.

  • Is it possible to download BootCamp drivers?

I'm using a MacBook (not Pro) with OS X 10.6.8
I'm willing to install Windows XP (32bit) with BootCamp (version 3.1) but I lost my original Snow Leopard's CD.
A technician I know told me that it was possible to download drivers for BootCamp (such as internet's, audio's, video's) directly from apple.com but I definitely am not finding them.
    Is it really possible?
If so, could you please send me the correct link for these drivers, please?

You must  have a 10.6.x dvd as the 3.0 drivers are on it. The upgrades (3.1, 3.2, 3.3 are what you can download from Apple but you have to have 3.0 from the dvd first.

  • How to install downloaded JDBC drivers?

I have downloaded jdbc80520-nt.zip. Do I just extract the
contents to a folder and put that in my classpath or should I be
using the Oracle installer (if so there is no .PRD file).
Also if I am using the Thin JDBC how do I know that Oracle has a
    Java client listener started?
    Thanks,
    Colman

guess you should check out the documentation at
    http://technet.oracle.com/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_faq.htm
what i do, is copy the class files [Oracle]with the same
structure into the rt.jar file, which is the runtime file which
contains java classes for the jre to execute..
solves the problem, but still a round about way... there should
be some simple way to install the driver and connect to
    oracle from java.
again depends on what is connecting to the database..
if its an applet then you have to package a thin driver
to be downloaded on the client machine, and you need to sign
the applet [if the database is on a different machine other
    than the webserver].
or if its a servlet, then the java runtime should have
    access to the oracle/jdbc... classes..
    not great help, i guess..

  • Installing Windows 7 Bootcamp Drivers after OSX has been overwritten

I previously overwrote my OSX+Win7 bootcamp installation in favor of Linux Mint 15. There were some video driver incompatibilities with my Macbook Pro 7,1 (Mid-2010), so I have re-installed Windows 7. Because I no longer have OSX, Bootcamp is not available to me in any way. In Windows 7, I cannot right click, adjust the screen/keyboard brightness, eject discs (I can eject during startup, but not once Windows is running), and there's probably more that I can't do. This is just what I've found out so far. After some Googling, I found a download link for the Bootcamp drivers for Windows 7 on a Macbook Pro Mid-2010 model. The file is a .pkg file, which to my knowledge, is useless in Windows. Am I ever going to be able to install these drivers? Do I need some software or to burn some kind of image to a CD/DVD? I would really like to keep this installation of Windows 7, at the very least for iTunes. I'm fairly good with these computer things, so just let me know what options I have here haha... If all else fails, I can install Mint or Ubuntu. The video driver issues aren't anything TOO bad, but they're annoying enough that I'd rather use Windows at this point.
Thanks for any help and suggestions and stuff!!

TLDR; Macbook Pro 7,1 only has Windows 7. DOES NOT HAVE OSX. How can I install Bootcamp drivers? I already have a .pkg file, but I can't use that with Windows.

  • How do i get bootcamp to work?

I downloaded windows 8.1 from the microsoft store and dragged it onto the usb and i made sure it was FAT partition... But this error comes up
Your bootable USB drive could not be created.
Boot Camp only supports Windows 7 or later installation on this platform. Please use an ISO file for Windows 7 or later installation.
I just need to find out how to get this to work, did i purchase the wrong thing or?
    Thanks in advance

    1. Please run Bootcamp Assistant.
    2. It has three options. Check the first two, "Create USB..." (if available based on your mac year/model) and "Download Bootcamp Drivers...".
    3. You can also check all three and it will do the additional partitioning steps and install windows.

  • Bootcamp drivers for xp

I am on a 2011 MacBook pro(snow leopard) with bootcamp windows xp sp2. My original install disk only supports windows 7 bootcamp drivers. So I went to apple site to download bootcamp drivers 2.1. When I click on the file nothing happens. No error or anything. All I need is my wireless to work while in windows. If anyone knows how to fix this problem that would be great!

With Boot Camp drivers from your OS X disc it's normal that they work in Windows XP, but drivers downloaded from OS X won't work. Reinstall your drivers
