How do I download firefox for Mac 10.4.11? I have tried to download 3.6 and it won't download.
My iMac uses powermac chip.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.4.11 "Intel," TenFourFox doesn't help with that. Whenever I load Firefox it tells me to upgrade to 12.0 for security reasons. 12.0 is most definitely not compatible with the version of OS X on my MacBook Pro. Then when I try to register for the forums on this site to address these issue (which they recommend to do on here), I am told I can't sign up because I am running an old version of Firefox. Could that possibly be more annoying considering the reason I'm trying to register in the first place? Anyways, do you have any recommendations or does Forefox just not concern themselves with the affairs of people who can't afford to buy new computers?

I try to download Firefox for mac (OSX 10.7.5), and it looks like it is being downloaded (on Safari) but there is no file in the download folder, and no invitation to drag the icon to the applications window. Checked desktop, applications, and documents folder. It just isn't there.

I managed to find this reference specifically for restoring on Snow Leopard:
If you are using Mac OS X Snow Leopard, start your computer from the installation disc. Then use the "Restore From Time Machine Backup" utility.

Finally, I cannot see why Time Machine would leave out your playlists and ratings? Think about it. Why would Time Machine specifically copy everything BUT your playlists and ratings? Ryan, what are your options? I would have to ask you this: Are you certain that you properly did the sync? That is another/different forum altogether: Using iPhone /see subsection on Syncing.

How do you delete all contacts on iPhone 4S? I have tried to sync and end up w/duplicates and now triplicates. 4,000 contacts have now turned into 12,000 contacts!! Hi Cynthia! If you are syncing from something like Gmail you can go into the iPhones Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>(account you are syncing)> and turn off contacts. It will ask you if you want to delete them from your phone - just click delete. Exit Settings and turn phone off by power button (not all the way OFF). Then re-open Settings>mail, Contacts, Calendars>(account you are syncing)> and turn Contacts back on - This is where you need to be careful - When you turn contacts back on you will be prompted to delete or save the contacts already on your phone. CLICK DELETE. You should now have only your synced contacts on your phone! Hope it helps!

Downloading Firefox for Mac 10.6.7 with 32 bit build

What part? There are no separate 32 and 64 bit versions of OS X. The only hold up would be whether or not your Mac can boot 64 bit at all. And no Macbook will boot 64 bit. Only the Macbook Pro has that capability.
I'm assuming your current version of Windows Vista is 64 bit, so you're allowed only a 64 bit upgrade disk? That would mean you're upgrading a machine specific version of Vista, such as a copy that came with a Dell, Sony, or whatever other PC.
You can't use such a disk in Boot Camp anyway since such manufacturer supplied versions of Windows are tailored to that hardware. What you need is either a full version copy, or upgrade copy of the dual retail version of Windows 7. Dual retail copies come with both 32 and 64 bit versions or Win 7 in the same box.
I have two Win 7 licenses. On my Mac Pro, I installed the 64 bit version since it is capable of booting 64 bit. But on the older iMac, we had to install the 32 bit Win 7 since the iMac does not have a 64 bit EFI. -
Is there any way to Sync contacts from Outlook for Mac to iPhone 5? Apple support says that only iTune can only sync contacts from "Contact" which is the default contact of Mac. If one is running Outllok on a Mac machine then it is not possible to sync the contacts with iPhone. It is strange that Apple distributors are promoting and offering machines with promise that Windows users can now run MS Office on Mac machines without any problem. While this is true, it is so strange that one cannot sync the contacts from MacBook Pro to iPhone5. If someone has found a way to sync contacts from Outlook to iPhone 5 please help as it is very frustrating to not be able to sync the contacts. Thanks, Amit.

I have tried to change the default PS to CC 1014 using "Get Info" changing it to PS CC 2014 and then "change all" And when I press continue it defaults back to PS CS6
What OS are you using. If Windows check your windows register key Photoshop shell sub-keys command for Open and Edit are set to CC 2014 not CC 14.2.1.

I have Mac OS 10.4.11. My Mac Laptop Pro has a new hard drive and has been completely refurbished by Apple. However ever since, I have not been able to obtain the correct Firefox. Prior to the replacement of my hardrive, I had Firefox and used it for many years. Not being able to download the correct Firefox is frustrating. Firefox 4 will NOT work on Mac OS 10.4.11. But every time I click on a download of 3.5 or 3.6 the download turns out to be Firefox 4. I cannot use Firefox 4, do not want Firefox 4 but it keeps trying to plant itself on my computer even though it will NOT work on my computer. YIKES!!!!

There really are no no more details. The only version of Firefox that I can find that is available for downloading is not compatible with MAX OS X 10.4.11
This means I am really in trouble. I sent the version I was using to the trash because I was having so many troubles with it not connecting to various sites.

I am the administrator with the proper privileges and correct password. I have firefox 3.6. It prompts me to update and when I do it states i do not have sufficient privileges for certain items to update.

In my experience t here are two different problems with the speed of firefox on startup
# your os and setup
# firefox - and exactly what you use with it
Some factors will be down to your OS and for instance what does start up initially, many of those factors will affect other programmes/applications and not only firefox.
Some other factors depend on Firefox and how you set that up, I always like to have the option to using Firebug but realise it cold clash with other software or slow down firefox startup so I only enable it as I need it. see for instance: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/performance/
