How do i download itunes 10.6 after getting a connot download due to server being reset?
How can I download itunes 10.6 after getting a message that says 'cannot download due connetion with server was reset' ?
The same way ever other iTunes update is downloaded.
Go to www.apple.com/itunes/download and click the download button.
If you get a specific error message, you can either post the exact message here or try helping yourself by doing a search for that error to find resolutions.

Try deleting the problematic tune (electing to remove original file if/when prompted) and then re-downloading the file from the iTunes store.
You can re-download content purchased from the iTunes store (availability varies depending on location) using the purchased option from the Quick Links section in the top right corner of the iTunes homepage in your iTunes application on your computer.

0X is a Windows Error. Take the time to look over on the right under the "More Like This" and look for ones that have the green checkmark as being solved. You should find answers there.

I read that I can have iworks for free on my iPad if I own a copy for my computer. Is this correct, and how do I download it without being charged?
There really is nothing more to say than what Allan has already said, but to explain just a little further, what you may have read is that once you purchase an iOS app in the app store, you do not have to purchase it again if you need to download it to another iOS device. In other words once you buy the app, you can load it onto unlimited iPhones, iPod Touches or iPads.
You must be using the same iTunes account that you originally purchased the app with in order to download it again. But as Allan said, just because you have it on your Mac does not entitle you to download it free to your iPad. -

Note that the project site is created based on the template associated to the chosen project type (EPT) when the user first publishes his project. Be aware that if you allow the user to choose weither or not he'll create a sharepoint site when publishing
his project, he will be prompted in Project Pro with a dialog box giving the choice to create or not the site.

How can I switch my resolution back after getting a black screen?

A couple weeks ago I connected my iMac (2012) to my LG TV. Everthing was working fine until my screen on my iMac blacked out. Even when I disconnect my TV from my iMac, my screen remains black. There's no sign of a dimmed backlight or a broken backlight. After I wake my iMac up from sleep it shows my log in screen for half a second and then it pops back to a black screen.
I think I switched to a resolution my iMac couldn't handle, so it blacked out, I just don't know how to get my screen to work again. PRAM reset doesn't work.
I also tried to share the screen with my MacBook while being disconnected from my TV so I could change the resolution that way, but that also won't seem to work. I'm stuck right now and I don't know what to do. I hope someone will be able to help.That was the first thing I tried, it used to switch back to only my iMac screen but it didn't work.

What is the best way to reintroduce the backed up iTunes folder that contains my music collected in iTunes 10 after doing a clean reinstall of Windows 7 and thereafter installing iTunes 11. Howl will iTunes 11 recognize my songs collected in iTunes 10? Do I simply copy then paste all the iTunes music folder content into the new iTunes 11 music folder? I thank you for your response.

It's more than just uninstalling Itunes; there are 5 other apps that have to be uninstalled and in specific order. This particular Knowledge Base article applies to Windows Vista or Windows 7. For other Windows versions you'd have to look up the article for Windows XP.

How do I organise iTunes purchases/content after moving abroad? Please help...
Please can someone advise in simple terms, I am so confused!
I have recently moved with my young family from the UK to the USA. We are hoping this will be a permanent move, but this is yet to be confirmed. We will be visiting the uk hopefully every year and no doubt take the phones and iPads with us. Between us we have:
Ipad 2
Ipad minis x 2
Apple TV
iPhone 4s
iPhone 5c
All my iTunes content is stored on my hp laptop, including many CDs and DVDs that I converted to an apple format. Purchases in the uk include 10 albums, 10 movies, 1 tv show, 27 books, a gazillion apps (most of those free, apart from I know I purchased minecraft and the kids have spent hours creating worlds on there!). Most of all this is for the children. I don't tend to store any content on the devices themselves unless we are planning a long trip. We tend to rely on wifi and home sharing to access all content from my laptop.
I've just started to look at changing the iTunes Store location/credit card from the UK to the USA. I went to an apple shop to help me do this to make sure I was going about it the right way, I even purchased frozen movie from iTunes Store whilst I was in the apple store, to check it worked. It did, but on the device I updated - ipad 2 - I can no longer see the movies or music that were there before. I've refrained from changing any other devices as yet. The apps all seem to be there however. (I understand that some of these apps may not get updates if I don't change to the USA iTunes Store, since they were obtained in the uk).
I basically need to understand what options I have in terms of easily being able to access all content (whether converted or downloaded content) ideally via homesharing, as the kids are used to that.
1) in settings do I keep the uk iTunes Store and uk credit card linked to it, and continue to make purchases from there (is this even possible?) Would purchasing a uk VPN help with this?
2) in settings do I convert to the USA iTunes Store and USA credit card - on all devices - and if so, how can we access all our content? If this is an option I would greatly appreciate instructions on what to do.
I think one option would be to just change the country/credit card details in settings each time we wish to access something from the 'other' store - but this isn't really practical with all our devices and 2 young kids who just wouldn't understand why they can't see all their movies in the cloud! I don't have time to permanently be switching details on their devices all day!

That is sometimes refured of redownloading from iCloud.
If the media is not current available from iTunes/APp store yo can't rdownload it. In the USA, ringtones and audio books are not redownloadable.

ANYBODY CAN HELP?You cannot delete the itunes app. Try Settings - General - Reset - Reset Home Screen Layout. Check Restrictions to see if iTunes is on or off.

How to change "previous iTunes library" header after choosing and old library
This worked for me on windows vista ultimate:
- Open itunes with shift press down
- Create a new library, by default, it is created at C:\Users\"your user"\Music\iTunes\iTunes
(different location from where it is originally), close iTunes
-Now remove the 4 files created on C:\Users\"your user"\Music\iTunes\iTunes
- Locate C:\Users\"your user"\Music\iTunes\Previous iTunes Libraries ; note the added date to the files*
Note: if you have more than one previous version of the library, Note that it comes on groups of 4 check the size of the files and choose
- Copy and paste those 4 files to C:\Users\"your user"\Music\iTunes\iTunes, where the new library was created
- *Remove the added date to the 4 files (make sure there is no space between the . (dot) dividing the extension and the word library on each file.

How to move to a particular record after getting the key from pop list?

I have a non-tabular form. I have provided a POP Lov to display and return the primary key of the table.
When a particular record is selected from the List I want the page to fetch that particular row from the table and populate the fields. This is a critical feature I need in most forms, so use can easily fetch any record of choice.
Can some one help me?

There are several methods you could adopt for this.
The most typical method would be the report/form combination of pages - where the form is populated based on the PK ID passed by a link from the form. In a lot of cases, I would suggest, this is what users would expect.
However, I can also see situations where the user wouldn't want to see a report just to get to a form. In these cases, either a Select List with Submit or a Popup LOV would be required.
Either way, the principles would be the same - you need to populate the form page's hidden PK item with the ID of the record you want to display/edit and let the page's "Fetch Row..." process retrieve the record when the page is reloaded.
For a Select List with Submit, the list itself could be the PK item or you could transfer this into the normal hidden item. The latter could be handled either by a process or a branch when the page is submitted (which would be triggered by the change in the list's value).
The popup LOV method would be more complicated as you have two pages to work with. However, this can still be done as long as you consider two things - (1) the popup page needs to set the ID value for the form page to use and (2) the popup page needs to force the form page to reload so that it can use this value. (1) can be done using a normal page submit - you can set any value on any page and it will be retained unless you clear the session value(s) for that page or item and (2) can be handled with javascript - a child window (which is what a popup is) can run javascript in its parent window - or by the user clicking a button on the form page.
Another alternative would be to retrieve all relevant values in the Popup and populate the parent with all these values when the user makes their selection. This would require that the hidden PK ID item on the form is "Hidden" rather than "Hidden and protected" to allow javascript to set this value so that the record can be saved correctly.

I have tried to redowload the song but itnues keeps saying that I've got a corrupted file and to check for avaible downloads under store menu. I would like to be able to delete the song, with the corrupted file from my library and download a fresh one from itunes. BUT i don't want to pay any more money and tbecause the file hasnt downloaded all the way I cannot delete it. I want to be able to listne to my music so if anyone can help I would appreciate it.
Check that the ...\iTunes Media\Downloads folder is empty. Delete any files it may contain.
Delete the current copy and then download again (free) from your purchased history. If the problem persists contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history.
