How do I download music to my phone permanently from the cloud

How do I download music from the cloud permanently on my I phone or I touch for travel when there is no WiFi?

Hi debraro4s,
Look for the download button and click it (it looks like cloud with a down arrow).
iTunes 11 for Mac: Access all your music anytime, anywhere with iTunes Match

Play or download songs from iCloud
You can play songs directly from iCloud, or you can download songs so you can play them when you’re not connected to the Internet.
If a song is available in iCloud, it has a Download button next to it.
To play the song, double-click it.
To download the song, click the Download button.
Note although the article is titled about iTunes Match, the iCloud download operation is the same without iTunes Match.
Take care,
Nubz

  • How do I download all of my music onto my iPhone 6 from the cloud.

I recently purchased an iPhone 6 plus.  My music is on there but with the cloud symbol which means I have to download from the cloud to listen to it when not around wifi.  What is the easiest way to do this for all of my music.  I tried hooking my iPhone to my iTunes account on my computer with USB and syncing hoping all music on computer with show up on iPhone 6.  This did not work.  Still seeing cloud symbol.

  • How do I re-download a song that i hid from the cloud?

    So here's the story:
My wife downloaded some songs from the store directly to her iphone 5, and while they played on our pc just fine, they wouldnt play on her phone. To try and remedy this, I deleted the songs from itunes library, sync'd her phone to remove them from her phones library, then re-downloaded direct to her phone. This worked, except for one, and here's why:
For this one song, I selected "hide from the cloud" when deleting, not knowing the trouble it would cause. When I went to re-download, it doesnt show up in the previous purchases tab. In itunes, it says all purchased songs have been downloaded. When I go to that song in the store to re-buy, it says it has been purchased, and will not let me re-download from there, nor will it let me re-buy it.
This seems like an obvious and substantial glitch in the design. How do I remedy this situation?

You will need to unhide it first : hiding and unhiding.
If you want to do it directly on the phone then on iOS 6 unhiding doesn't work properly - you should be able to see what is hidden and re-download them from that 'hidden' screen, but you can't unhide them so that they re-show in the Purchased tab.

  • Some music I purchased is missing from the cloud.

I went to purchase history under my account and the music shows up.  But when I look at Purchased on both iMac and iPad iTunes it is not there for me to download from the cloud.

People have been reporting that the free songs are not being shown but I haven't seen any clarification from Apple on whether it is intentional or not.
And remember, you don't "have" to use the cloud as long as you have your PC with all your music on it. They aren't taking away service you previously had or charging you for something that used to be free. I'm just glad that they are the first ones to actually re-download content you have already purchased indefinitely.

  • How to remove phone backups from the cloud

I had trouble with my Iphone a while back, and now I have two copies of my phone on the cloud.  I would really like to remove them both and save a new version, but I can not figure out how to delete the older copies.

Use Settings > iCloud > Storage and Backup > Manage Storage > touch the backup you wish t o delete and then touch Delete Backup.

  • If i have deleted my local files, how can i download all my files at once from the creative cloud server?

    Hi,
My creative cloud files have all been deleted on my machine, all put in the trash (not by me!) I've recovered some but I want to download everything from the creative cloud server before I sync again.  is there anyway to do this? or do I have to download every single file individually, which would take hours......
I can see all my files on the cloud server but can't figure out why it has dumped all my local files in the trash.
    Thanks!

Just to add that, I had exactly the same issue this morning, so it is certainly a more widespread problem rather than an isolated case.
For Adobe's benefit, here's a summary of what happened for me:
All cloud files automatically moved to trash on turning my computer on and auto syncing. All folders remained, but empty.
Files still existed online through the browser, in the Files section and had not been put into Archive.
When I got home to my personal Mac, the exact same situation happened as above. Though I made sure to do a backup before connecting to wifi and allowing it to sync!
Tried signing out and deleting the Creative Cloud files folder, then signing in again, hoping it would re-sync and create all my files again to match what was online, but it just created the directory of empty folders again.
Was on a call with support for an hour which was painful, with them taking control of my screen but having no idea what to do to fix it.
As with you guys, I'd like to download all my files again (not including Archive), but as a batch and not one by one online! Hopefully the sync will fix and download the lot again automatically.
Have you worked out what's wrong yet Adobe?
    Thanks

  • How do I delete items (movies and TV Shows) that are on my iPad that I have moved back to the cloud permanently from the cloud?

Anyone out there who can help me permantly delete movies and TV Shows from my iCloud that I moved to the Cloud from my iPad Air to the Cloud?

You can't delete them from iCloud because they aren't stored in your personal account (and don't use any of your storage).  You are only seeing download links so they can be redownloaded from the iTunes store.  You can't delete anything from this list of previously purchased media, but if you don't want to see them on your device you can hide them in iTunes on your computer as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4919.  After hiding them, you won't see them on your device unless you unhide them again.

  • All music is unavailable in iTunes from the cloud

All of my music is successfully in the cloud.  I can access it from my iPhone but cannot access it from my laptop.  I have tried updating iMatch and stopping and restarting the service.  I have traveled away from my wireless drive where my music is stored in soft copy, but that shouldn't matter.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    J

What I've done now is moved my music folder into a different folder to keep it safe, I've deleted my iTunes library, ie on itunes highlighted all and deleted. Then gone to iTunes media folder and checked they are deleted and they are. Now whatever done is put my music folder back and checked preferences and it says keep a copy of file in iTunes etc. also keep folder organised is on.
So now I have started afresh I have both my music folder and iTunes folder which hold the same songs.
So what do you recommend I should do to be able to delete the music folder and just have one folder of songs?
    Thank you

If you are trying to sync from a computer other than your own, this isn't possible. The iPhone is designed to sync with only 1 computer.

  • How can i download an app that i bought from the app store but is no longer avalaible?

hi, i recently changed my iphon from 4 to 5 and when i try to re-install the apps i found that tubebox is no longer available on the app store. how can i get the app now?

First, make sure that sync automatically is disabled: iTunes>Preferences>Devices. Then connect your iPad, do not sync, right-click in the left device pane: Transfer Purchases.
That should put it in your app library, & if a universal app, just sync it to your phone.
