How do I download my old iPhone 4 iCloud data onto my new iPhone 5S?

Hi,
I just got a iPhone 5S. I had an iPhone 4 that was backup to my iCloud account. I tried to download my old phone's iCloud data to my new phone and keep getting the same message "apple ID could not created because server error." I can't connect to iTunes, my iMac has the old operating system. Is there anyother way to download without restarting to phone? Thanks!

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update and install any updates available.
Navigate to Settings > General > Reset > Erase all contents and settings on the device you want to restore.
When this completes and the Set-Up Assistant starts, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" and enter your iCloud account and password. You will see the three most recent backups for each of the devices on which you enabled Backup. Choose which backup to restore from.

I just got a new upgrade iphone from a 3G to 4G. My son updated the software with Icloud. I do not like it, it drains my battery. How do I get the old operating system back (without icloud). Also, I don't know how to close an APP anymore and I think that could be draining my battery as well. It doesn't work the same way when I doubled click and then touch the APP it doesn't give me a dash to close it up again.

Apple does not support downgrading the iOS.
As for icloud, go to Settings>icloud, scroll to bottom of screen and tap Delete Account.

Also, Settings>General>Background App Refresh: turn off apps you don't want refreshing data - this can preserve battery life.
Also try a reboot: press and hold the home and power buttons until the Apple icon is displayed, then let go.

Help - I thought it would be easy! I have the serial number of the full package which i bought only a couple of months ago. But when i try to download it onto my new iMac I only get offered the trial version, although my Adobe ID knows that I have bought it and shows me the serial number.

Problem restoring Iphone 4 backup onto my new Iphone 5 with Itunes!

I just purchased a new Iphone 5, started it and in the configuration chose restore from itunes backup. The Iphone was connected to Itunes and the Iphone 4 backup restored onto my new phone, however only very few apps made it to the new Iphone 5! Any idea? Diskspace is the same on both phones and not full at all.

Photo stream photos only remain in iCloud for 30 days. If they are in photo stream, your new phone would only be able to access photo stream photos from the last 30 days; older photos would be lost.
Camera roll photos are included in your backup. If you are replacing an older iPhone, back up the old phone to iCloud, then restore this backup to your new phone when you set it up. This will transfer camera roll photos (and videos), text messages, settings, app data, ringtones, apps and other purchased media, etc. You might also want to import the photos to your computer for safekeeping as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

How do I get an old iPod touch backup onto a new iPod touch?

My daughter dropped her iPod touch 32GB and shattered the screen. We replaced it today, and I am trying to restore the last iPod touch backup from my iTunes account. It is about one week old. When I first connected the NEW iPod touch it gave me an option to restore, but then prompted me that the IOS was out of date and I had to first update the IOS then restore. Exact message:
The backup of "NAME iPod" is cannot be restored to this iPod because the software on the iPod is too old. To restore this iPod from the backup, you must first set up the iPod as new and restore the software to its latest version.
So I chose NEW, and then it seemed to configure it. It is IOS 5.1.1. But all to the "base" system. How now do I restore the apps, music, etc from the last backup
I named this new iPod the exact same.

The backup does not included synced media like apps and music. you can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
The apps have to be in the iTunes library before you restore from backup otherwise there is no place for the app date to be restored to.

The BEST thing to do is backup your iTunes library from your previous/old Mac to an external hard drive. Then connect that drive to your new iMac and copy the iTunes library to your new iMac.
iTunes will not copy music from an iPod to a computer. That would enable anyone to easily share music to friends who hadn't purchased it.
If you must copy it from your iPod to your iMac, you will need to use Senuti or something similar.
